The staff were very genuine peaple and more than happy to help me today as i am autistic and have problems when I come to buy walking boots. The staffs guidance and support made me happy with the boots that i chose a correct pair that suited mypersonal requirements and what I wanted .. it was so much easier buying from the store rather than buying
online as I was able to get what I
needed because the employees were more than happy to go through different
products and gave me positive feedback
on the performance and quality of what I
was buying was going to last ..thank you millets of whitehaven. And thank you the lad who served me for doing your job with pride and making it a pleasant shopping experience. 11/10 .

Absolutely the best customer service, well done 👏 knowledgeable staff. Nothing was too much bother , tried on so many sandals and found just the right thing. I hate buying shoes but Millets made it much easier and avoided the costly mistakes of buying online . Thank you 🙏

I had ventured out to the next nearest store as my local store didnt have the size I needed for my daughter. They didn't have it either :( they were really helpful and ordered the size I needed to the store nearest to me. Saved me the delivery cost of ordering online and was delivered 2 days later.

The staff were extremely helpful and professional in dealing with a faulty item and subsequent replacement. Any dealings I have had with the Whitehaven shop have always been the same, they always do their utmost to fulfil your requirements.

I came into store today to pick up a some outdoor clothing as Millets has always served me well with knowledgable staff, admittedly I’ve not been in for a couple of years. However, Today was no different. As I walked in I caught the tail end of a conversation between a staff member and some tourists about our fine Cumbrian weather. I wanted a specific type and brand and explained my criteria to the staff member. Not only did he know the store policy on repairs, but also the different brands individual policies, as I discussed that’s why I buy what I buy, he said that’s exactly why he had his current shoes. We discussed how good some previous repairs have been for our respective gear. I decided then and there I was buying something else to support this branch. While at the till, he asked what my travel plans were and I explained I was a local, as he said he could tell me other branches that might have some clearance stock. He also said that if I order from the parent company online I could have specifics brought to store if the local branch was the preference. As I left I asked for his name as Ryan is an absolute asset to the store and credit where credit is due.

The team here really helped in my time of need, stayed open when they could have gone home and helped me choose without out rushing me and offered all kinds of support. Absolute legends

Visited this store this morning after having an issue with a faulty tent. The amazing staff this morning were... Ade, Leanne and Ryan were all absolutely superb! Resolved the situation so easily and problem free! I really appreciate everything they did for me. Brilliant staff and a fantastic shop. Highly recommended!
