AFS made it possible for me to breath again! Brice, the amazing AFS advisor, couldn't have been more kind, knowledgeable and reassuring as he explained the program and guided me to completing my application. He returned every phone call immediately, and answered every questions with respect and patience. I receive faithful emails each month updating my progress. Im not happy that chase made me go thru guys and you charged me 10 dollars a month and a start up fee. Ya besides that you were a normal service that I shouldn't have been forced to go thru to pay chase back after I closed my credit card account so I could pay it with less interest being charged.

As a nonprofit organization, the modest monthly fees associated with our Debt Management Program help support the counseling, creditor negotiations, account management, and ongoing guidance we provide to clients throughout their debt repayment journey. In most cases, these fees are significantly lower than the finance charges and interest clients would otherwise pay while carrying their debt.
While we understand that participating in a debt management program may not have been your first choice, we're proud of the outcome you achieved and grateful for the opportunity to support you in reaching your financial goals. AFS has been helpful
AFS has been helpful. I had debt and was only able to make minimum payments. Some of my cards had high interest also. AFS got my interest lowered to 6%for most of the cards and set up a five year plan where those cards will be paid off at that time. Cannot use cards, that is OK. I recommend,

Great group to have on your side.
This company has systems in place to handle any glitch and they are geared to avoid disruptions in the first place. The agents are well versed in their product and enthusiastic but not pushy. There is no string of phone calls that feel more like harassment than sales in my opinion.
