The misconception that online education holds less value is completely false. Here, in Computer Science and Artificial Intelligence, we were guided by mentors with true industry experience.

For those who are hesitating, these courses guide you to master current AI concepts rather than just using tools on the surface. My course focused on Machine Learning and Business Applications of AI. Even though I am a French speaker, I was able to follow the curriculum without difficulty granted, I have a good level of English, but I truly recommend this experience. Today, I feel competent to engage precisely with domain experts while having a clear vision of the business applications that matter to me.

My experience with Great Learning’s AI and Machine Learning program has been genuinely valuable, both because of the quality of the curriculum and because of the support provided throughout the program.

I came into the course wanting to understand AI and machine learning at a practical level for professional advancement, and the program consistently kept that broader purpose in view. Over the course of the program, I developed the ability to work through machine-learning problems systematically: exploring data, developing and comparing models, evaluating their strengths and weaknesses, and thinking critically about why a model behaves the way it does. The course continually connected those skills to their professional application; the lessons were consistently taught in the context of real-world professional work. I now have both the technical foundation and the confidence to investigate ideas that I would not have known how to approach before taking the program. There is obviously far more to learn in AI and machine learning, but Great Learning gave me a strong foundation, meaningful support when I needed it, a clear focus on professional growth, and opportunities that pushed me beyond the classroom. For me, that combination made the program genuinely worthwhile.

I greatly appreciated the variety and flexibility of the learning formats. Some material was provided as prerecorded content that I could work through at my own pace, while other material was taught live, providing the opportunity for a more interactive learning experience. Importantly, the live sessions were also made available afterward as recordings when attending in real time did not fit my schedule. For someone balancing the course with other professional and personal commitments, that flexibility was extremely valuable. More broadly, the combination of live instruction, recorded content, projects, and other forms of reinforcement reflected real care in how the program was designed and an understanding that people absorb and master difficult material in different ways.

The most rewarding parts of my learning journey were my capstone project and the hackathon experience. The capstone pushed me beyond simply getting a model to work and required me to think more critically about model performance, experimentation, and the practical meaning of the results. The hackathon extended that learning in a different direction. I would not have sought out that kind of competition outside of this course, but the experience was valuable enough that I am now interested in looking for more opportunities like it in the future. It pushed me to work more independently, make modeling decisions under the pressure of deadlines, experiment more broadly, and learn from the process rather than simply follow a prescribed exercise. Together, these experiences were among the most valuable parts of the program because they moved me from learning concepts to applying them in more open-ended, realistic settings.

Finally, I especially appreciated the personal attention from the program administrators. At one point I fell behind in the coursework, and members of the Great Learning team reached out to me personally to understand where I was in my learning journey and how they could help. That follow-up made a real difference. It reinforced that there were people paying attention to my progress and genuinely interested in helping me complete the program successfully.

I took this four-month Applied AI and Data Science program and had a great learning experience. The program gave me the opportunity to learn new concepts, strengthen my Python skills, and gain a better understanding of how AI and data science work in practice. The live lessons and mentor sessions were very informative and valuable. The MIT professors were excellent and added significant value to the program with their knowledge and expertise. The quizzes, practice tests, and coding exercises helped reinforce my learning and gave me greater confidence in applying the concepts.

I recommend this program to anyone interested in learning about different AI and ML concepts and developing practical skills.

What made it a great experience was the hands on work and getting insights from mentors who work in the industry. The projects were challenging and helped expand my knowledge. I was able to immediately use the knowledge gained in my work as a senior professional. I feel more confident when I use AI or converse with the data scientists at work. I definitely recommend this course.

My experience with Great Learning was horrible, and I strongly recommend doing extensive research before giving them your money.

One of my biggest concerns is what felt like a serious lack of cross-cultural awareness. Most of the people I interacted with were based in India, while Great Learning actively sells programs to American students and partners with American universities. In my experience, there was very little flexibility or understanding of the expectations American students may have around customer service, accountability, refunds, communication, and the overall student experience.

When a company operates internationally, it cannot simply apply one rigid internal way of doing business to customers from completely different cultures. There has to be cultural awareness, exposure, training, and an understanding that people from different countries may have different expectations and consumer protections.

When I raised concerns, I felt dismissed and gaslighted. Their policies seemed to matter more than actually understanding my experience or trying to reach a fair resolution.

What makes this worse is that many students are signing up because of the university name attached to the program, not because they independently know or trust Great Learning. That partnership gives Great Learning credibility and access to students who may assume they are dealing directly with the university.

I am still fighting for my refund and going through a dispute process because I could not reach a satisfactory resolution with them.

Before enrolling, read the negative reviews carefully. Look specifically at what people say about refunds, customer service, cohort changes, communication, and what happens when something goes wrong after you have already paid.

Based on my experience, I would not enroll with Great Learning again.

The training sessions were well organized and structured. The prework sessions were especially helpful in preparing us for the core sessions and building a strong foundation for the material. There were also many hands-on practice projects that allowed me to apply what I was learning and reinforce my understanding.
The instructors were knowledgeable and did an excellent job presenting the material in a way that was clear and easy to follow. Having the mentoring sessions on the weekends was very helpful and provided an opportunity to gain additional clarity and take a deeper dive into each subject.

The program manager also did a great job helping us get acclimated to the program and remained engaged and supportive throughout the entire program. Overall, the combination of structured training, hands-on practice, mentoring, and ongoing support made the learning experience very valuable.

I have benefited tremendously from this course on AI & Data Science. The course has been sharply designed to provide deep insights into the application of AI focusing on data science concepts and tools.
The course provides deep understanding of data exploration and analysis - the foundation of AI- model building, and business application. The course continuous opportunities to work on numerous case studies focusing on specific and real life issues.
The opportunity to integrate AI and Data Science allowed my to understand how to transform raw, messy data into predictive intelligence by combining statistical engineering with advanced Machine Learning algorithms to build strong and scalable models.
The course has been highly valuable to me as it transformed the way I think about technology, AI and especially how I now look at my domain knowledge now.
The rich materials, mentor learning, discussion forum, constant engagement from the lecturers and mentors as wee as the continuous support of the Program Manager and other staff, contributed to make this experience awesome and exceptional.

I am really grateful for the opportunity to take the Applied AI for Data Science course. The course provided not only provided me with an in depth overview of how AI works but a multitude of hands on experiences to code and try classification, neural networks, LLMs and decision trees. I had an excellent experience with the MIT Professional Education Applied AI & Data Science Program through Great Learning. What stood out most was how well the program balanced strong technical foundations with practical, real-world application.

I work at the intersection of sales, analytics, AI, and business insights, so I was able to connect many of the concepts directly to the work I do. The program gave me a much stronger understanding of machine learning, deep learning, transformers, generative AI, and how to approach real business problems with data and AI.

I joined the course "AI for Data Science"
The organization of course materials through Olympus platform is great. The questions were answered in a short time. The documentation of lectures including Q&As was very good.

The preparatory courses were very good to introduce us to Python and maths needed for this course.

The python code exaples covered most of the aspects of the theory. The mentored sessions were also good interactive way to go through the exampkes and clear out any doubts we had.

The assignments were challenging.
I for sure recommend this course to anybody interested in getting an introduction to AI and its use in Data science.

I attended the Applied AI and Data Science Program through MIT and Great Learning and I had a very positive experience overall. The course covers a wide variety of different topics in data science and AI. I had very little experience on these subjects from before but I was still able to compete the course and learn a lot.

The more hands-on assignments were the most valuable parts for me. They gave me the opportunity to use what I had learned in simulated real life scenarios. This helped me to understand how what I learned could be applied to real life business scenarios.

A very useful class to help me begin my data science career in medicine. The capstone project and courses leading up to it were essential in developing my own research career and guiding me in the possibilities of AI in imaging. The teachers and responsive, helpful and really want you to succeed outside the classroom.

Great Learning employs 'Dark patterns' tactics on its online platform to manipulate consumers. These patterns include creating a false sense of urgency, nagging and shaming, filling out detailed application forms to signify exclusivity in admissions, cancellation fees if you find the course worthless.

The courses are pre-recorded and can be played anytime with no intervention from the faculty, even though the course starts a few months from today the website will tell you that the last day of registration if 4 days from the current date, the company employs so called “industry experts” to guide you in sessions each week and the quality of these experts is not guaranteed and they are in no way related to the prestigious Ivy league institutions from which these courses are said to have been created by, exorbitant cancellation fees and no-refunds if you find the courses sub-par or useless, they will call your phone number incessantly at all times of day with no sense of time from India, if you ask them too many questions they will cancel your application and deem you as “unworthy” to pursue the self-proclaimed excellent course they have created.

I used this platform for the AAIDS through MIT Professional Program and had a wonderful experience! The course was well organized, had various career and education resources and multiple points of contact for my questions and inquiries. The course content was very thorough and challenging, and the skills and knowledge I gained will undoubtedly be invaluable to my career. Would definitely recommend.

Unfortunately, i enrolled for No code Agentic AI program and in nutshelli can say it more of a scam. The program was described as hands on progarm. The sales team promised that there will be mentored sessions to make sure we can apply what we learnt in the recorded videos. Unfortunately, the mandatory mentored session addressed basic theoretical matters. The programs itself was more of data analysis rebranded with AI title. The other supposedly hands on session didn't consider people who's weekend is Friday and Saturday .. so session were only on sunday with impossible timing to attend. To note that the sales team selling me the program mentioned that the program managers will accomodate individuals that can't attend sessions on sunday by providing hands on sessions on friday or saturday. Which didn't happen. I did watched the recorded sessions.. but it was useless.. and who wants to pay money for useless recorded videos when he can watch it for free on YouTube. At least on youtube you can find something useful. You can also look for free tutorial on each tool you want to learn. That will be available on the tool's website!
The material itself in the sessions covered old versions of the AI Tools we were supposed to learn.
When i raised the concerns and started criticizing i did receive calls from customer service that they aim to keep the program rating of 5. When i continued to escalate and requested refund since the company did not provide the product they promised ( after 5 to 6 weeks in the program i learned nothing related to Hands on AI) they blocked my account. To silent my voice on the tickets on low rating i was providing for the session. Then i have been blocked on whatsapp by the sales team. Although i had paid all the due installments on time. The program is supposedly in coordination with MIT. Am not sure of MIT is aware of such practices.
