One of the worst bank in the UK. I am going to close this account. Imagine an illegal casino offshore prossed transaction in a company of softwares the casino refuse to process my withdrawal claiming the withdrawal method declined by your bank then after I raised a dispute and was honest they took lengthy time up to 14 days then they said we can't raise your dispute we see the merchant has not breached any terms. Idiots they are stupid I don't know why this bank has to continue running in UK. It's just the most useless bank i ever seen
My Natwest credit card
My Natwest credit card has a credit balance following a product refund by Amazon. I tried Cora (useless) but did manage to speak to a customer care operative and the credit sum was to be transferred to my bank account. On checking a Cora response the account number to which the sum was to be transferred bore no resemblance to the current account I have had with First Direct for over 32 years. It looks as if the account number Nat West had was the one I had with them before (thankfully) transferring to First Direct in the early 1990s. Nat West claimed that was the only a/c number they had but they must have received details of the First Direct one when I transferred. It beggars belief that a bank has out of date details on an account which has had no activity for over 32 years. Finally I have searched in vain for a Nat West complaints form without using the useless and basically obstructive Cora. I would give 0 stars if possible

I really cannot believe how appalling the service from Nat West Premier banking is, I pay £34pcm for . It took 4 weeks for a NAT West official complaint to be dealt with and the person dealing with the complaint had no ability or process to escalate the problem. It took their contractor (Lkewise) for mobile phone repairs 4 weeks to fix my phone , 10 years ago that would have been no more than 48hrs. The NatWest rep did not seem to want to understand that I contract with NATWEST and not LikeWise.

I have been with Natwest for 25 years…
I have been with Natwest for 25 years and never had a bad experience with them. Since being made redundant and struggling financially I have been amazed at the support Natwest have given me. They have been superb. I must highlight Jack who I spoke to today who has not only helped me but really reassured me. Shame I can only give 5 stars. For a bank and lender I really feel they care about their customers from my experience

Managed to get cash out, hurrah. Now made first attempt to pay a bill online - failure, won't accept the card. I shall go into the branch tomorrow and see the team, - they sorted out out the last nonsense PDQ. Now definitely looking at moving banks.

I generally have a few £k in my NatWest Account for emergencies, and they Lend-Out ten times this amount in Loans. Quite extraordinary then, when I asked for an increase in my Overdraft, and they declined it - Citing adverse Reports from the above Rubbish CRA's.
Their Complaint Ref: PHO 0433666626, whose staff delete relating info' and then buck-pass it elsewhere.
This is what happens when there is No Regulator.
There is however the Financial Collusion Accessory which pretends to Regulate but does nothing !
Other Rubbish Banks include: Co-Op - Ref:1867746
and Barclays - Ref: CRTHDMFX98.

Over a month to TRY and get a credit card increase after request after request for more info.
Went to my other bank, done in 10mins.
Complaint was raised, spoke to a guy for 5 mins then apparently it was resolved without me knowing. Still waiting a follow up call days later about this and nothing. Considering a have 4 healthy accounts with them this is v poor!
Closing to many branches
App is not a do it all, you still need a branch to go in.
2 months trying to do something, issue, ring.. oh you'll need to pop into a branch... where, you've closed them and lowered the operating hours so even if I travel I can't get there in time.

Really unpleasant and unhelpful appeared not to even know what a direct transaction meant .
So pleased we changed to TSB who offer brilliant customer service

NOW THIS IS BAD BUSINESS ACUMEN, AS I STOPPED USING THEM ABOUT 2 YEARS AGO (MY VERY FIRST ACCOUNT, SO KEPT IT OPEN) AS THEY KEPT STEALING MY MONEY AND LYING ABOUT IT.
