NCSA College Recruiting Reviews 

DO NOT RECOMMEND! I’m giving this one star because we got some very basic information that was somewhat helpful. Going through this for the first time, we were definitely overzealous. Signed up for NCSA service in grade 9 or 10. Some of the webinars. are sort of helpful for parents. But be where they are very vague because they are not specific to a certain sport in most cases.I Couldn’t get my Athlete very interested in the educational tools though. At one point, I tried to get a highlight video uploaded. It did not work. I called and was given a Line about how there was a website malfunction and they would manually request to have it done. It never happened. The website is minimally helpful to research and get a get a list started(if you are looking at a large #/scope of schools). My son became number one in the state in his sport by senior year. At that level, no one is communicating through NCSA. We received tons of messages on the site from much lower level teams that he would never consider. It felt like a waste of time & money! I can’t imagine who this would benefit from this- Especially considering the outrageous amount of money they are charging. Sports recruiting is a lot like dating. The teams you are interested in, you have to pursue & sell yourself. the ones that come to you (particularly through this website) are ones you would not want. Do your own research on Niche and whatever recruiting standard websites you can find. College websites themselves will give you a lot of info: view rosters and performance results. coaches definitely prefer that you contact them directly. Complete the questionnaire on their school websites and email them directly. That will get you the best results.

Total waste of money. The only thing we have received from NCSA for the $5,000 plus we paid is a ton of camp invites on the east coast and we live in Utah. We have had zero help with anything from the advisor or coach over my sons account we have sent video for upload on the account and it was never uploaded to the account. Please save your money and do better research then I did. Also after reaching out to them for assistance we have not received a response from them.

Not what we expected... At most I wouldn't even consider this until your athlete is a senior. We wasted a lot of money on this and we could have accomplished everything and more by just skipping the middle man and reaching out to schools of your interest. Make your own highlight videos.

The NCSA program and Eric’s coach, Andrew Foster, have been absolutely amazing! Before NCSA, we honestly didn’t know where to start or what to do to help our son get the exposure he needed to play college football. NCSA has helped us understand the recruiting process, the rules, and what steps we need to take to put Eric in the best position possible.

If you have a son or daughter looking to play sports at the college level, and you’re not familiar with the recruiting process or the rules, trust me.....you need NCSA! Don’t let anyone talk you out of it. Having the right guidance and support makes such a difference.

A huge thank you to NCSA and especially Coach Andrew Foster for being so knowledgeable, supportive, and amazing at what you do! We truly appreciate everything you’ve done and continue to do for our son.

The worst investment.I try to help my daughter get commited, NCSA program only robbed me 4,000 dollars for absolutely nothing I still paying cus its a huge debt. Please parents I hope my review helps you to not do the same mistake I did. Its NOT worth it, help them to get more training or equipment with that money but not here.

DO NOT waste your money on a paid profile from NCSA. It is absolutely not worth the cost! Reach out to coaches on your own and save your money to attend camps of colleges you are interested in. There is a ton of advice online about steps to take to get recruited and it’s free! Here are just a few reasons of why I do not recommend purchasing a package:
1. The cost is outrageous for what you are supposed to get
2. Aggressive sales tactics- made me feel like my daughter would not get recruited unless she had a better profile even though I said I could not afford it. Made sure she was right there to hear all this as well. Guy did not want to take no for an answer. I’m so embarrassed I fell for this and let him bully me into purchasing a package
3. We were “ghosted” by our NCSA recruiter coach. He set up a phone call with my daughter, never called, and we never heard from him or anyone from NCSA again. This was right before her senior year.
4. We never got highlight video made from footage we sent in
5. There really was no guidance at all. My daughter would ask a question and his only response ever was to send a template for her to fill in and send to coaches (that’s not what coaches want) or he would tell her he was was going to send her something and not send it at all. It’s like he didn’t even know what it took to get recruited and definitely didn’t take her seriously.
6. It seemed they only promoted her profile to places she had no interest in.
7. College coaches were less likely to write back through NCSA. Maybe it’s because they get spammed with promoted profiles on the daily?
8. Speaking of spam- the few coaches that did reach out through NCSA would spam reach out even when she said she wasn’t interested. I even got texts at 6am from one that just wouldn’t give up.

In the end, my daughter was recruited to play D3 basketball. But, she DID NOT use NCSA to achieve that goal. NCSA had nothing to do with her getting recruited at all. After she was ghosted on the phone call that was the deciding point that we knew NCSA was not going to actually help her out at all

So let this be a last friendly warning that the cost of the NCSA packages are not worth it! You don’t need to spend thousands to have a recruiting profile to send coaches! You can even make your own highlight videos as well! There are so many free resources online to read over that help too. Don’t be a fool like me! Save your money!

If i could give this a 0 i would, false advertisement. There was nothing about money till we got on a call, this is a tactic they use to make us pay and money was not brought up until towards the end. I kept saying i was not financially stable to pay for this, it’s expensive for absolutely no reason and they don’t guareente you your dream school or target. It is free to reach out and email colleges instead. This is a waste and unnecessary, i’ve already payed a couple months for literally nothing for my daughter. Refunds are not a thing here either, they just want money. This shit is horrible.

I’m very happy with NCSA and especially Coach Petro. Having a step by step, personalized approach to college recruiting has been tremendously helpful in getting noticed. The platform is easy to use and Coach Petro is very responsive to questions. I’m confident that as we move forward in this process, we will continue to have the resources necessary to be successful. The webinars available cover every possible topic, the media team does a great job putting a highlight video together and we were matched with a recruiting coach who is very knowledgeable. I highly recommend NCSA!

The best experience for athletes! Lots of important information and new opportunities

Michael Pannone is extremely knowledgable about the recruiting process. Over the past months he's laid out the types of schools and types of players each school might be looking for, and helped us distinguish between mass emails/invites and genuine interest. Our son is well on his way to attending a fantastic school and playing football - his lifelong dream.

This website allowed coaches to reach out and make offers such as swim camps and team visits as well as recruiting. It also gave advice videos on how to handle recruiters and what to expect.

I was not interested after our initial profile assessment call earlier in the day that was actually a sales pitch and hung up. He called back twice more after and I ignored. I was getting ready for bed and he called me at almost 11pm! I said “it’s 10:43pm” and he said “I KNOW”. I said I AM NOT INTERESTED, STOP CALLING ME! So that better be the last time I hear from “Vic”. Absolutely ridiculous and completely disrespectful.

NCSA has been such a blessing to me and my family these last couple years. It makes the journey to college recruiting so much easier and it takes so much pressure of my family. The staff is top notch and most have already been in a young players shoes so they can relate so well. My personal coach, Ben Breazeale, played college baseball for Wake Forest so he knows what it takes to play D1 Baseball, and he has been incredible helping me through every step of my own career.

We didnt use the program, daughter got picked up on her own from a university. Will not cancel contract. Even going through a bankruptcy.

The guys do a great job helping the kids my age with colleges.

Coach Joe was incredibly knowledgeable and helpful as my son navigates his senior year. Gave my family some great next steps.

My son set up an account with NCSA to get some basic information about their program. They scheduled a meeting call to go over the basics. One of their sales associates, self identified as a coach gave us a very general overview of the system (heavily influenced by the services of their highest tier plan - casually acting as these services are standard).
A lot of the services they offer for a paid premium are available for free from my son’s school or club programs.
Their website profiles do act as a sort of one stop shop for organizing his progress towards recruitment.
The coach heavily leaned on making it sound like my son was already a top candidate for all the best schools, even though he hadn’t really mentioned much about his skill set at that point. He was very friendly and acted genuinely interested in helping out. That is until the conversation turned toward payment.
He asked us to put the phone on mute while we discussed what price tier we were willing to pay tonight.
By the way, when my wife had called to ask a few basic questions at the beginning, she was informed that the entry cost was around $200. While we skimmed the price points, we noticed that most of the services he had mentioned were only available for the highest tier. The lowest costing tier was $1,399. We got back on the phone with the coach and indicated that we weren’t ready to make a decision tonight and that we were just trying to understand their services. His demeanor changed a bit and tried to make it sound like we weren’t interested in helping our son. Once he understood that we weren’t committing to a payment tonight, he just said something like get back to them, and just hung up the call without even saying thanks or bye.
He went from being so friendly and really interested in helping my son to just hanging up. It was quite shocking how he ended it.
It was very clear after evaluating the conversation that they were only interested in making a sale as quickly as possible, and not really interested in helping. We never indicated that we would pay at all, just that it wasn’t tonight. No follow up and no offer to help us make a decision coming up. He was just done with us.
Very slimy tactics.

Please do not sign up for this. In my total of 3 years using this service, I only got emails from 3 college coaches. Besides, every single week I get calls from the NCSA "recruiters" pitching me on buying their multi-thousand dollar premium thing that doesn't even guarantee appointments with college coaches. Besides, my email is now just flooded with constant emails from NCSA and colleges that I was never even interested in.

NCSA has been so easy and awesome to use. We have gained access to multiple opportunities for college camps and coaches. Coach Cory has been amazing. He helps keep us focused and not over think.

Coach Brady is always there for us with his expert advice and guidance- we are beyond grateful!
