Fraudulent company

This company has been reported to the correct authorities for false advertisement, fraud and misleading customers.
It’s a failed business run by morons with zero customer service.

Contacted customer services who state…

Contacted customer services who state their response time is 24 hrs but they never got back to me. Tried to contact by messenger, they never answered. Most useless customer services of any company I have dealt with.

Ordered when in stock, declined order

Ordered 2 sleeping bags that went on sale from £99.00 to £33.00. Hadn’t had a confirmation email or anything from them. Contacted them and was told they never recieved payment. Showed them a screenshot from my bank and then several days later they replied with a system error and the part was no longer available. Was issued a refund but the whole ordeal was very badly done. Was told if I wanted another one I would have to wait 2 months and then I mentioned I would have to pay full price and they ignored me from their on. They would reply once a day except when I fully started complaining then it was instant. Avoid the site directly. Only order from Amazon if you use them

ND2 Bait Boat repair

Sent my ND 2 bait boat to the shop as has blown the main board. They gave me a price, and kept me updated while they repaired it. Sent it back and included a new case free of charge. Fantastic service, highly recommended

Absolutely pants

Absolutely pants, went online and ordered a ND2 boat. No indication they were out of stock but took my money. 4 weeks later and I'm still waiting for the delivery.
I have constantly asked for an update with minimum response, supposedly it will be here by Monday but no notice in the emails of the battery will probably another few weeks.
No apology just an email a day later from taking my money to say it's out of stock and I'll need to wait.

I ordered the weigh carp cradle a gasket and a screw were missing off one of the sensors I rang nd they asked for a picture which I sent a few days later the items arrived excellent service from a great team

Terrible experience

I bought an nd2 boat a couple of weeks back, the boat turned up after a couple days. After a few days I was expecting my battery to come as it comes separately, I sent an email asking for the tracker which to then I got a reply saying they have no stock. I was told this Monday that my battery has been dispatched but I am yet to receive tracking for it. An email has been sent but no reply. This is another weekend where I’m unable to use my boat.

Overall I am extremely disappointed with the lack of customer service and communication. They were happy for me to spend £549 on items they have no stock of.

Stole from me

In all my years I have never come across a company with the gaul to steal from me and then ignore the problem. They stole a Deeper from me worth £230.00 and simply wont send it back to me or refund me. They sold me a baitboat that is not fit for purpose and when I sent it back I could not take the Deeper of the arm they sold me as it would just spin around and it could not be removed, they said they would take it off and return it but diddnt do it. It was almost brand new.

Don’t waste your money

I brought my ND baitboat 1 in August 2021.
My first reported issue with my bait boat was (timeline below)
18th of Feb 2022 right motor wouldn’t work
8th of August 2022 same problem as above (problem solved with a new controller)
8th of Sept 2022 again issues with my boat with it not turning right.
28th Sept 2022 sent my bait boat to you to look into the problem. You replaced entire floater. Worked when I tested it.
14th of June 2023 tried my bait boat out prior to going to France. No reverse, made strange clicking sounds.
3rd of July 2023 resolved with new motherboard being sent to me
2nd of July 2024 recently reported the controller wasn’t working all lights flashing. As my warranty had ended I had to buy a new controller (you gave me 20% discount)
14th of July 2024 out in France and now the GPS is flashing blue with 3 intermittent bleeps.
So I’m unable to set the home, or any spots. I had to reseat the boards as the bomb bay doors wouldn’t open

Back in France September 2024, and now the bomb bay doors won’t open.

Now I paid almost £1000 for this boat and I have never had so many issues with a bait boat before I as I have had with the ND1 boat.

All you get from customer service is “send a video”

Save yourself some money and stress, never buy a ND1. So far I have pretty much had all parts replaced. Even the bite alarms didn’t work very well.

I mainly use my boat for my French trips. So I’m bitterly disappointed each time.

I've had my nd2 bait boat a while now…

I've had my nd2 bait boat a while now and I honestly don't think there's anything out there to touch it at the price point. I've asked a few questions about extra batteries and parts etc and I have had a quick reply and helpful advise .I will continue to be a Nd customer as I can't fault them.

Purchased ND1 online direct from ND - Poor Service

Purchased online direct from ND, tracking information didn't even tell me courier. Contacted via messenger and response was awful. After various messages being ignored "You will get it" was response to asking for full tracking information. Not being happy with this response i asked again this time I got a reply from a different person actually giving me the information needed. Why I needed tracking info was I needed to make sure someone would be home to accept delivery. Didn't want it left on doorstep all day with amber rain alert active for my area and didn't want to risk someone stealing it.

Once boat arrive I unpacked it and left it and the controller charging for some hours, thought I'll setup app while waiting. But no instructions so asked ND no response whatsoever. Eventually found independent YT video explaining process which could not be continued until boat was fully charged. Once charged pressed power button on boat and nothing, these switches normally light up when on. Switched on controller and this flashed and bleeped probably because it couldn't detect a working baitboat.

Again contacted ND 14:46, 18:21 and 18:37 then at 3:36am got a reply to my previous questions. Then at 5:16am was asked to do a video highlighting issues i was having with the boat not powering up. Bit miffed at this point as due to the poor support had already decided I wanted to return boat and get full refund. Anyway after thinking about it decided a video might actually speed up my return and refund. Did this and sent video 7:08am. At this point of again repacking I noticed the inside of the carry case was messy like it had been left open in a workshop. So I suspect I paid for a new boat but recieved a faulty return which hadn't been repaired. Now I was angry £800 for second hand goods that don't work. As at 8:00pm I've received no more responses, there isn't a phone number published, customer support is non existent. So will be spamming them with emails and messages until someone actually feels like dealing with my issues. Got response 8:12am my video is being checked, apparently they will get back to me.

Will I give them a second chance to rectify this, I very much doubt it, my experience of companies operating like this, is walk away with a refund.

Brought bait boat nd 1 nothing but trouble gps goes on them and every thing else 4 of us had the same boat everyone of them messed up gps is so cheap goes about 200 meters out it’s way before it finds its spot then the customer service is on another level absolute rubbish take ages to get a reply and then a boat under warranty we all had to pay to send them back ourselves also when the boat was sent back they and not even put it together had to do it myself my nephews was all smashed yet the box it was sent back in was untouched and they tried to say it happened in transit take my advice don’t ever buy a product from them it’s the worst thing you could ever do I wouldn’t even give them 1star but that’s the lowest I could give them WARNING STAY AWAY FROM ND TACKLE

SHOCKING

Never in my life have i experienced customer service so shocking !! My advice to you is dont buy their products. Had an issue with my bait boat compass and they asked would i be able to fit new part myself !! If i could of got my money back i would of. STAY AWAY !

Amazing customer service and repair

Amazing customer service from Gary i couldn't ask for anything more. Sent in my boat for repair and i had it back 3 days later in time for my fishing trip, also sent it back with a boat case and accessory case free of charge! Can't get better service than that!!

Buy cheap..... Buy twice!

Absolutely shocking customer service.

When their equipment breaks after a handful of uses but is out of the warranty by several months they push for a sale of a new receiver it says it all.

With them being reasonably local to myself I have bought a few things (alarms and receiver, water pump, water bucket with led, Teflon bobbins of the top of my head) I have never being blown away by any of the equipment but it does the job...... until it doesn't.

Have had issues with the receiver not connecting via Bluetooth to the app very well but always had the receiver so never being a issue. Going out for my first fishing session since November last year and my receiver works but looks like one of the internal components has failed and it will no longer connect to any of the alarms. With them only being used for no more than 30 nights out I was a bit disappointed so reached out to new direction and after sending a video today of the 3 alarms and receiver I have being advised that yes the receiver looks like it is malfunctioning and to purchase a new one to use with my 3 alarms.

With attitude like that I have no intention to make any more purchases but instead will now make everyone aware so they can avoid this company.

Customer service is useless

Customer service is useless. Had my boat for 2 months. Then got defensive when I asked for a timescale and got the same excuse I got a month earlier after being quoted 10 working days. Received my boat on 8/4/24 and still haven’t got it back.New Direction have now returned my boat saying they don’t want to be thought of a dishonest. They’ve also blocked me on Facebook which I find incredibly unprofessional and childish considering I wasn’t aggressive I only said that I felt they were trying to use the same excuse over and over without realising they’d already used it. Also speaking to other repair companies a lot of the new direction are obsolete which would explain why they couldn’t fix my boat. My advice steer clear of new direction I actually really like their stuff but due to the sub standard after care I personally won’t be buying there stuff anymore

Sent my out of warranty bait boat 2…

Sent my out of warranty bait boat 2 back to ND. Got a call from Gary, explained everything, fixed the boat, and just charged for the parts. Brilliant customer service.
Get the feeling some of the negative reviews are NOT REAL.

Not good customer support or product

ND Tackle not very good customer relations, bait boat 1 would not connect to gps also handset would sometimes fail to turn off, after emails to there tech dept and an updated app still didnt work emails stopped so returned item then didnt get a refund in the allotted time frame, had to get ebay to step in then the messages started, not returned in the cardboard box that it was sent in, used condition so they told me that they wouldn't be able to put back in stock although the boat wasn't working

New direction ND2 bait boat - Exceptional service.

I’ve had a new direction ND2 BaitBoat for 3 years and it has been brilliant. It recently developed a fault a few days before a trip to France, I was able to quickly get it booked in, fixed and returned in time for my trip. Exceptional customer service!
