We had the WORST experience with no limits removalist. We enquired after seeing all the good reviews and gave them a quote for 3 bedroom house even though we only had 2 beds. They estimated 10 cubicm $1950 which we agreed and reserved a truck for Brisbane to Mackay. After putting half of our stuffs inside the truck we receive a call saying the total estimate is now $3200. We were shocked. The management is very unprofessional and very RUDE. He told me he will only talk half of our stuffs if we dont agree to the new quote. We were very stressed and frustrated. We did not agree nor denied as we wanted our stuffs to reach Mackay. On arrival, they did the same. Removed half of our stuffs and asked me to pay. We paid what was originally quoted and said we do not wish to pay anything additional. The truck driver said he will keep our goods hostage if we dont pay the additional cost and called his manager. After a lot of back and forth the truck driver ended up keeping all the good inside but refused to unpack or put the beds together. I told him I want both my beds to be kept the way you guys took or else I will be proceeding this legally. He was not happy but did it eventually. Not to mention almost ALL our goods were destroyed. ALL of them. And all my plants were dead on arrival with missing branches. We are really disappointed, sad and disgusted with how these people handled everything.

I'm really unhappy with the service…

I'm really unhappy with the service actually. I got overcharged on something I explicitly asked about it. I was told I would get charged $4 per step over 24 steps in either location. At first these guys tried to charge me for the Total steps of both locations, then at the end destination there were 48 steps in total and I got charged for all 48 steps, not the 24 steps that were over the limit. I asked if it's $4 per step over 24 and I was assured this was the case, but the guy still charged me for 48, and meanwhile both the movers were following me around constantly and asking me to pay on the spot without an invoice or anything.
Then the guy tried to tell me that the 68 steps I would be charged is because the items were "heavy", even though they literally didn't meet their criteria for what constitutes a heavy item. The whole process felt like I was being lied to and being charged more than what was agreed on, and rules kept changing.
I have damage and a huge scratch on my front door caused by the movers, as well as damage to my fridge. The mover shrugged and said that's just what it is, no apology or anything.
I am extremely disappointed with the service as I chose these guys after speaking to about 5 other companies because of these assurances and that they sounded the most trustworthy.

Beware expensive requote as soon as they arrive

Did virtual walkthrough quote, full itinerary, stated 27 cubic meters. We booked and paid for 30 to be safe. As soon as they arrived they claimed far more than 30, and immediately wanted to charge for 40. Our original and already expensive move went up 33% on the spot. Completely unethical as you then can't change removalists on day of moving. Other hidden charges, instead of using blankets (which they had) they want to upsell to bubble wrap everything which was expensive but they state 'we'll do deal'.
Removal guys were professional and we only had one broken lamp at the other end.
To be honest I'd recommend using an alternative

Unfortunately, my experience with No Limits Removalists was extremely disappointing.

The crew arrived 40 minutes late, told me they were contractors and had no knowledge of my quote or deposit. They arrived in an unbranded truck with almost no protective equipment—no mattress bag, no moving blankets, just cling wrap.

Despite clearly labelling multiple boxes as FRAGILE and HEAVY, several of my belongings were damaged, including wine bottles, shampoo bottles, glasses and a plant vase.

The most concerning part was that after the move was finished and they had already left, they returned, opened my front door and entered my home to request additional payment instead of knocking.

To make matters worse, the company later admitted there had been a system error with my invoice and waived an additional $231.07 they claimed I still owed. However, they have still not addressed the service issues I raised.

I cannot recommend this company based on my experience.

Quoted, Booked, Confirmed... Then the Price Changed

Update:
Following my original review, management contacted me directly and worked with me to resolve my concerns. They waived the remaining balance and provided a $500 refund, which has now been received.
While I appreciate that management ultimately took responsibility and followed through on the agreed resolution, the reason for my original review remains unchanged. Multiple fixed-price quotes were provided and accepted, before a significant price increase was presented shortly before the move, causing considerable stress during an already difficult relocation.
I am updating this review to reflect the full outcome and acknowledge that management did make genuine efforts to resolve the matter once it was raised.

The actual removalists who completed our move were excellent. They were punctual, professional, hardworking, kind, and treated our belongings with great care. I cannot fault the team who carried out the move and they deserve recognition for the quality of their work.

Unfortunately, my experience with the booking and quoting process was very different.

I received written fixed-price quotes, paid a deposit, completed the inventory process, and received booking confirmations. Two days before the move, I was contacted and advised that the quoted price was allegedly incorrect and that the cost would increase significantly due to a quoting error.

After discussion, a revised amount was agreed upon because, at such short notice, finding an alternative interstate removalist was not a realistic option.

The move itself was completed professionally by the removal crew, and I appreciate their hard work. However, the stress caused by the last-minute price increase significantly impacted what was already a challenging move for my family.

My advice to future customers would be to ensure every detail, fee, surcharge and agreed price is confirmed in writing and retained for your records.

Such a bad customer service and on…

Such a bad customer service and on their website their saying there’s no hidden charges, when the movers came they started talking about these extra chargers that were never disclosed prior to booking, then the lady on the phone said we would be getting the items earlier than we booked and started talking about EXTRA charges to get our stuff delivered on the date we actually booked it from. Never again don’t use them guys.

Worst experience I've ever had with a business. Poor communication, unprofessional service, and a complete lack of accountability when things went wrong. What should have been a simple process became incredibly stressful, lasting 2 daysI would not recommend No Limits Removalists to anyone. You have been warned!

As far as we are concerned RUN

As far as we are concerned RUN, do not consider hiring NO LIMITS Removalist otherwise you will pay and pay more and more and experience so much grief and stress, it is just not worth it.

When we contacted No limits removalists to move items from one state to another, we gave a list of items and received a quote. It wasn't a lot but a one item was awkward but was reassured there would be no problem moving it at all.
We requested a particular date and time for pickup and was informed that it was impossible for that day but suggested the previous day which we agreed as long as the items were received at the other end on the agreed date.
Therefore the booking process it self was difficult everyone was flexible and agreeable.

Paid our deposit. So far so good and that was were the good ended.

The agreed pickup time didn't happen and kept getting pushed back further into the day until 8pm. The removalists (who were subcontractors and not staff as claimed on their website) wouldn't take the items as they didn't have the room!!! But they were able to take the items back to the company warehouse/storage area.

We contacted the company to find out what was going on and was told that if we wanted the items to be moved then we should UPGRADE to Premier Services. Then we were informed if we still wanted the items to be delivered on the day we agreed upon then we were required to pay an additional $2000+.

At this time we had no choice but to agree as everything was being held at their warehouse/storage area. So basically we paid for the PREMIER Service without all of the benefits.

Now remember there was an agreed date for the delivery of the items to the new premises. Once our son was at the location there was no truck, again we contacted the company to find out what was happening and was informed that it could be a day or two for the items to be delivered. The truck was only a short distance away but we still had to wait.

REMEMBER we actually paid for the PREMIER services without all the benefits. And at no time did No Limits Removalists kept their side of the agreements.

Finally after a couple of days of waiting the truck was ready to deliver. And have a guess what happened next?

The subcontractors which No Limits Removalists website states do not exist, turned up and refused to unpack the items until an additional $200 was paid.

We feel that each step along this process we were being exhorted to pay more and more. The stress alone kept us up late at night worrying what was going to happen next.

Damaged furniture, Poor Communication, Delayed Pickup

Booked a truck to move 3br house and garage and paid my deposit. Day before they were due to arrive I get the call to advise the truck was broken down and I would be pushed back a day. This is the oldest excuse in the book. I had to ask for a reduced call out fee as compensation for this inconvenience, details of which weren't passed on to the driver. Come moving day the 2 guys and truck arrived on time and loaded everything efficiently. They used my tools to dismantle furniture until I put them away. They didn't pack everything into the truck leaving me the added cost of hiring a van to pick up the extra items. They broke a leg on a vintage table, didn't bother to tell me at the time of the move I only found it the next night when I was reassembling the table and found it was wobbly. Chased them for days to complain, the customer service team wouldn't return messages. When they finally did they sent me photos of the damaged table at the destination property, clearly time stamped with location details. Customer service kept stating the photos were taken before the table was loaded and was already damaged. Their own photos proved they were lying but I had to get photos of the old premises to prove it. The compensation offered was no where near enough to have the table repaired. Would not recommend this company.

The only positives I had out of this was the speed at which they got everything packed and unpacked and they stuck to the hourly rate quoted. There was none of the usual demanding payment at an inflated rate prior to unloading which is common in this industry.

Terrible communication and tardiness.
Move was scheduled for a 7am start. By 8am, they were still a no show. We had to call head office and they said they'd call us back. 15 minutes later, they said they'll be there by 8:30am. Didn't show up til 9:15am. Move barely took over 1 hour and 15 minutes and they still charged us over 500 bucks despite what they quoted us. Movers also were asking us to pay up before the job was even complete. Also their SMS provider was automatically marked as spam, and their payment website was flagged as suspicious. Lots of red flags

Oh and after all that nonsense, our washing machine is missing parts as they had removed them before loading it. Great.

if i could give this company 0 stars, i would!
booked in for a 9am move, provided an inventory list, spoke to customer service, detailed what was needed, paid the $200 deposit for an extra large 65m truck, 3 men, tools and shrink wrap for furniture, padding and straps.
they took $205 for the deposit.
day of the move comes and i get a message at 7am: "We will be at your place at 11am. out first job is bigger than expected and weve got stuck doing that" contacted the customer service, and they assured me theyd be there before 11 with all necessary items, and the driver told customer service theres an issue with the truck.
call again at 11am as no one showed up, customer service has no idea whats going on, promised a manager would call me in 15 minutes. - no one called me..
get a call from another number that they'll be there at 12:30, they thought their job would be one trip but its taking longer and more time than expected.
call customer service AGAIN, get the same spiel "we dont know why they didnt shop up, someone will be there within 15 minutes and a manager will 100% call me within 15 minutes.
12:30 comes and i get a call from a company listed as GH removals and storage- which has horrible reviews on google. barely speak english, cannot understand anything they say other than "we are on the way"
continue calling customer service every 15 minutes, until it gets to the point they dont answer, or as soon as they answer and i tell them whats wrong they mute me/put me on hold and then hang up.
at this point me, my fiance and mother in law have made trips for the furniture, moved half the stuff on the inventory list and moved all the furniture remaining into one room for ease of access... their job.

1:50 a nick scali truck comes, half the size thats promised, two incredibly unprofessional men get out the truck have no idea whats going on, have no shrink wrap, no pads, no straps, no dolly nothing to actually move my belongings. and try entering my house after i said no, and they need to leave.
they open the truck up try putting boxes from the garage in the truck and half the truck is filled with broken boxes and rubbish/possibly furniture?
customer service is still no help whatsoever.

the kicker?
last year when we moved my fiance had booked them (unbeknownst to me) and they did the same thing, booked for 8am, got a call at 7am saying their truck had an issue theyd be there at 11- second call said the guy booked broke his hand and theyre finding a replacement, called a subcontracted truck and two guys at 4pm who had no idea what they were doing, no wrap barely any padding, and made us help pack the truck, damaged furniture and refused to leave without us paying them the full amount, it was my fiances birthday and we needed to leave for dinner so had to fork out the money.
DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY.

Well what to say about No Limits…not good

Well what to say about No Limits Removalists but theres a lot to say i have been reading about complaint after complait regarding the same thing and might i say it happened to me.
i like many otheres ordered a large truck only to get a small truck i asked for it to be sent back and get the truck i ordered this was refused by there office and the 2 removalist were told by there oiffice to make two trips( no where was i told that i was going to pay for two trips). well i refused toi pay after the furniture was sent to storage as requested by me i asked for a DETAILED invoice i recived a statement for $1100 which i srongly challenged i was told that they had to do two trips. This ios what i was told . I did ask for a detailed invoce they sent a statement only saying the total. 3 times i asked for a detailed invoce and three times i got three different statements one for $1100,one for $1200 and one for1600 okay this was my last talk to them and i asked one more time for the correct charge on a work invove. this never came . As they advertise that these clowns are part of the AFRA Australia furniture removels associaton.i got in touch with them and was sent a claim form which i sent back duly reported only to be told that this company was not nor never was part of this association and was told to report them to the office of fair trading. As this is faulse advertising and subject to a fine. I did contact the OFT which was quite easy filled out the form and sent it in which is now being dealt with the No Limits will not answer my emails i am now waiting for the complaint to be finilised. In hind sight people should do this more offten an rid of these scamming people

No Limits is not a scam company, but their financial procedures could be much more open and customer friendly

Since I placed the earlier review , NonLimuts got in touch and claimed that new invoicing procedures were the issue. I am happy that they have engaged with me and repaid the over charge. I have to thank them for that
The three guys who moved my household goods were excellent and worked extremely hard to get the move done. They were great
So please make sure you have a detailed quote and get every potential surcharge in writing, because despite claims of 'no hidden charges', there actually are several. I would ask No Limuts to be completely clear in their charges from the outset, and then the customer knows what to expect, and not to deduct charges without the customers knowledge. I still don't know how they were able to do this. I received no explanation. It cannot be legal.
No Limits, please send a detailed invoice to your customers after the move and simply provide a payment portal, like any other normal business. This is not the Wild West. Thank you.

Nightmere Experience

Our booking was nothing less than a complete disaster over the weekend, and I feel that we have been treated very poorly, apart from the disruption that was caused with our move. Firstly we were booked for a 10-12 Tonne truck - this never happened and the size of the truck was very small, and in very poor condition. Secondly our movers were supposedly: “professional movers”. This could not be further from the truth in the first instance.

The evening before I received a call saying that an emergency had come up and that the removals would not be there until 12.30 pm. We booked for 8.30 am. When they arrived they looked at our furniture and belongings and tried to call their boss. We were at a loss when we saw the size and condition of the truck. They then sat in the truck for some time and then informed us they were leaving. My husband then spoke to someone on the workers phone as I had tried to phone the business number and was told the main person would phone me back. Never happened. They then negotiated to stay and must move what they could and a bigger truck would be sent on Sunday.

We started to move items - they did not wrap any of our furniture in blankets and our lounge was soiled with brown strap marks. They had no shirts on, so perspiration transferred to our furniture. They were slow and had no idea on how to pack the truck properly or move furniture. My husband had to direct them. When they arrived at the new address they backed over the letterbox - which was very clear off the driveway. It was knocked completely over. They were slow and took forever to move the furniture. At one point I went out and found one of them sitting on my washing machine. What took three hours should have only take maximum of 2 hours. We then argued with someone over the phone about what we were charged. He then agreed to take some time off for travel the next day, given the wrong truck was sent. He was rude and unapologetic.

The next day - another truck arrived and it was another small truck. We argued again with this guy. Once again unapologetic. The two guys sent were better than the day before. They at least wrapped the furniture properly and took greater care. We did not fit all the furniture in the truck, causing us to arrange on our own via truck and tailor. We once again had to debate the charges and the cost of two trips in heavy traffic due to the size of the truck. We were told that the letterbox would be fixed and they sent someone to try and fix it, but made it worse. I tried to inform them that it needed to be replaced given the material it was made from. This was ignored and now the letterbox looks even worse, despite sending photographs of what they did. No attempt to resolve my issues and have not replaced the letterbox as requested - despite a number of emails requesting this be addressed.

Even though they were a bit late, they kept me updated the whole time and were very professional. No complaints at all. Adeson and Sam went above and beyond for us. I’d definitely book with them again and highly recommend them to others

DO NOT USE THESE GUYS!!

BEWARE - WORST EXPERIENCE OF MY LIFE!

If I could give a negative star review I would. They claim on their website "Never use subcontractors" - This is a lie. Their whole business model is built on lies and deception. Underestimate the time and underquote $ to look good value and then sting you with a big bill at the end and hold your belongings to ransom because they won't unload until you have paid. I was quoted $1,000 and got a bill for $3,700!! Damaged items, not strapped in or wrapped in the truck, non professional in all aspects, truck didn't even show up at first and they couldn't contact the driver and had to get another truck 4 hours later. Took 3 days to eventually get all my gear.

Do yourself a favour and STAY AWAY -STAY AWAY - STAY AWAY!!!!!

Thieves and Disorganised

This removal company is a shoddy company run by thieves. When I realised I had overpaid them as my deposit was not accounted for in the final bill, they produced a fraudulent invoice for additional hours not worked. Also they are not organised (came over 2 hours late) and employ cheap labour. Avoid this company!!!
