I didn't even know that I needed hearing aids until I sat in on my partner's test. I then had my own test and found that my problem is with higher frequencies not volumes. I opted for the most expensive Oticon aids and I'm very satisfied. I can hear much better conversations in crowded situations and I can stream from my iPhone with no problem at all. The help and support that I have had from The Hearing Care Partnership in Blandford has been outstanding.

I was persuaded to go for the most expensive option in order to be able to stream audio from my phone and control everything using the app.
The app has never worked well, it often loses connection to one or both aids, listening to streamed audio is very hit and miss - sometimes its ok mostly the audio jumps around from one side to the other. There was an 'update' recently which promised better connectivity - nothing has changed.
Very disappointed.

I am at a loss by the negativity of the only reviewer of Oticon.

I have been partially deaf for 7 years due to the industry I was in, I shopped around and opted for protac, what a mistake , the support was poor and product dire, I returned .

So I was advised due to the nature of
My hearing to try Oticon as they speclise in background noise and offer a totally different product.

Now let’s get something clear , if
You have the nhs ones they will be no different than lower budget ones of around 1500.

The cost of replacing your hearing for me was paramount and yes there ALL expensive but you do get what you pay for. Since I switched , with the help of hidden hearing Doncaster I was told why each are different prices and you can tell the difference, comfort etc, settings, app function, streaming. But the back up service by hidden hearing is outstanding for an outstanding product. Yes I got the real 3 and yes the best and yes there expensive but 12 months on they are heaven.

Any negative , just remember in a morning our ears and brain have to get used to the elevated sound- solution turn them down and gradually turned them up to a correct sound you have been set.

Oticon and hidden hearing are for me a perfect combination and I have actively encouraged other to switch when the time is right.

Please be assured Oticon have been doing this over a hundred years so like any car you pay for what you get.
