I really enjoyed the butter chicken pies. Gluten-free food rarely tastes like regular food but Pavilion have done a good job.

It was double the price of usual Pak n Save product. I am disappointed that it is much worse. Nothing like flakey pastry. Now I have just read the packaging...gluten free, no eggs etc. Not surprised now.

I buy these products and always enjoy them .Pies are very tasty and lemon slices is my favorite. Use their pastry and if you follow the hints on their website it makes great sausage rolls. New products are also coming out now .I buy at the factory shop and they have lots of seconds that are fine.

Tried Pavillion gf flakey puff pastry for a treat- very disappointing as texture not puffy and taste nothing like real pastry- probably because it had no butter. I definitely won’t buy it again.

I tried the Pavillion beef and cheese pies. I wish I hadn't. The pastry tastes very weird. Very dense and chewy. Not pleasant. But at least it was better than the beef and cheese filling. This lacked flavour and seasoning and has a lot of gristle in the meat. I couldn't finish my pie and gave it to my dog.

I make a steak and ale pie for a family gathering, went to supermarket to get my ingredients ,no edmonds puff pastry so had to settle for pavillion puff pastry, great i thought, everyone sat and started to eat, i watched faces around table when tasting the pastry,i had to get a bowel for guests to put the pastry in, i then had a taste myself, horrible to say the least and had taste of Chinese in my mouth for 12 hours, ghastly pastry

Wow, I was so disappointed. Decided to try Pavillion flaky puff pastry (instead of my usual Edmonds) for my traditional chicken pie, but couldn't roll out the sheets as they kept breaking up and sticking to the rolling pin no matter what I tried. After wasting 20 minutes on all 3 sheets it was back to the supermarket for my trusted brand once more. So frustrating! Emailed the company but it obviously wasn't important enough for them to respond to.
