Have had PDF Reader Pro for 3 years. Worked perfectly until the last update. Some files will not print, or save, or allow text selection. Really buggy! Have tried different things like clearing cache, temporary files, converting OCR, reloading app...... Customer service is terrible. Finally got a reply and they want a video! I only gave it a 2 because of previous functionality.

I use this every day by default. Although I don’t subscribe to unlock additional features, I can only imagine the possibilities and advantages they offer. When my small business grows enough to require them, I’m confident it will remain intuitive and continue to simplify my work life.

I needed to convert a pdf so paid the 0.99p on 2nd February and just been charged £29.99 and emailed to explain I didn’t sign up for subscription. It states if you have technical issues which I did as it didn’t work convert all the text into word. I’ve explained the situation and automated Tom from customer service just responds with a template email saying sorry we can’t give you a refund as per our terms and conditions. Don’t use this company irs a complete scam.

Software does not work. Slow and glitchy. Customer service non responsive when I looked for a refund within the first 14 days. Cannot cancel the subscription when tried either. The website does not allow. Blocked the company from taking another subscription from my card in 12 months time. Total scam artists!

I subscribed to PDF Reader Pro AI a few days ago, and after paying for the subscription, I discovered I couldn’t access any of the AI functions without entering a licence code — which was never sent to me.

Their customer service (CS) is an absolute nightmare. It took them nearly 48 hours to respond to my initial emails, and when they finally did, they clearly hadn’t even read my question properly. The responses were useless and failed to address the issue. I had to follow up multiple times, sending detailed explanations and screenshots, only to be told repeatedly that “no licence code is required” and I just needed to log in — which I had already done. The problem persisted, and instead of resolving it, they banned me from contacting support altogether!

What a disgraceful company. Poor product, misleading subscription model, and shockingly bad customer care. Avoid at all costs!

I cancelled my trial period after just one day and received a message that I had to cancel through PayPal?! Went through PayPal, my bank to stop the payment before it would go through, and was still charged. Now I'm waiting to get my money back, which will take weeks... Any legit company would have accepted my cancellation and said: Sorry to see you go... This is a scam and many people will give up instead of jumping through all the hoops and headaches this company creates to make an illegitimate buck. If I could give it less than one star, I would. Shame on pdfreaderpro!

Scam, gesponserte Werbung damit man geld zahlt wenn man andere Programme für das selbe kostenlos nutzen kann, widerlich.

Horrible customer service. Only way to contact is through email, which is troublesome. Sent an email on day 1 that included information on the issue I was experiencing along with the problem PDF I created. On Day 2 (24 hours later) PDF Reader Pro got back to me asking for the very same thing I sent them on Day 1! So, on Day 2, I resent the PDF with a note that the problem PDF was embedded in my initial trouble ticket. On Day 3, 4, and 5 nothing....crickets. I emailed them and still no answer. I have 4 licenses that I am happy to burn, along with the money spent on this POS program

poor editing and then it got worse when I bought a new MacBook Pro and tried to transfer the forever license from my old Macbook Pro. PDF Reader Pro won't let that happen because I did not delete the old instance of the license before deleting the app. Now it wants me to contact support, which I have done multiple times with no response - just an offer to buy another license. Try something else!

We tested PDF Reader Pro in an enterprise environment, and it did not work reliably. Several users reported that the PDFs generated by the software could not be opened in Adobe Acrobat Reader, which is a major issue for compatibility.

I reached out to customer support for a refund, but I never received it. Instead, they asked me to troubleshoot the issue. I simply don’t have time for that when the product itself is fundamentally not working as expected.

If you need a reliable PDF solution for professional use, I recommend looking elsewhere.

Took my money of £99 and I still can't edit any form of PDF. Requested a refund immediately and they are refusing to refund me. Saying they can't trace my money. How convenient. Bunch of lying scheming thieves!!!!

Their recent update causes my iMac to freeze and shut down. Send in a support request and no response. I finally uninstalled the app. Nice while it worked, but a waste of bits with this version.

The PDF doesn't come close to matching Adobe Acrobat, their customer service takes two weeks to reply to emails, if at all. They haven't responded to my request for a refund (27 November 2024). Honestly, they don't deserve a single star.

I've since found Wondershare PDFelement and that gives Adobe Acrobat a run for their money. It's amazing and I couldn't be happier.

Excellent customer service👌. They have helped me to resolve the issue I had, that wasn't directly related to their soft, but affected my license and access. They have discussed the problem and provided solution. The programme itself is very helpful once you learn it. Stitching pdf's or AI translation keeping the original pdf color and format - just perfect. Thank you! from Poland.
