Absolutely amazing!
Had several windows replaced this week by Permaframe and I am so pleased!
Ian came to visit me a few weeks ago to discuss what I was looking for, he spent a good couple of hours talking me through options and I did not feel pressured at any point to make a decision and all my questions were answered in full and he followed up promptly like he said he would.
Dan and Brian came this week to replace several windows which was a huge job as the quality of the work left by previous fitters was very shoddy and a lot needed to be done to fix existing work as well as replacing the windows.
Both days they turned up and worked incredibly hard, communicated with me every stage to make sure I was involved in any decisions and understood what was happening and went above and beyond in so many ways to look after me and make sure I was satisfied. They were friendly, welcoming, helpful and left the house as clean as if they were never here.
The front door will be fitted at a later date and I insisted that they be the ones to come back to fit it.
I chose Permaframe because of the excellent reviews and was feeling apprehensive after a recent negative experience with another company who worked on the house but I would not hesitate to recommend Permaframe to anyone- if I could give more than five stars I would!

Absolutely delighted with the job the fitters, Dan and Brian, did on our conservatory. They did the job quicker than I expected but, despite that, you could tell they were making sure they did the best job possible. 100% recommended and, if you have Dan and Brian turn up on your job, you can rest assured you're in good hands. Utterly shambolic
Having Read past glowing reviews of this company, which is why we went with them in the first place, it’d be easy to think they were for a different company.
It’s difficult to express how disappointed we are with the whole experience, not to mention our complete dissatisfaction in the way we feel we were been treated from Day 1.
But I’ll do my best.
We were given an installation date and told the fitters would be there at 9. .
9am came and went and at about 10:30 we rang For an update, to be told the window had been ‘lost’ and couldn’t be located. Pointedly, it was us who rang themTo find this out.
We were told we’d receive an update and later that afternoon, were informed the window still hadn’t been located and we’d have to wait another two weeks for installation. My partner works from home and couldn’t rearrange meetings so I took a day off. I’m self employed and therefore lost a days money.
We were then rebooked for Monday 17th at 2pm.
I might as at this point we received an after service call to see if we were happy with the instal!! Good internal comms guys. Not!
When the fitters arrived 2 Weeks later, they came with the unit, but it was missing a large pane of glass from the left hand, opening side of the window. They said they could install the window but with a temporary board and that the pane would be arriving the next day and would Be fitted immediately. We were told that we would be contacted in the morning to arrange a time.
I couldn’t take the following day off so my My partner then had to put her meetings on hold until we knew when they were coming. No call came so again, we rang you for an update. Only to be told there was no pane and we’d have to wait yet another two weeks.
So Basically we were mislead with information from the fitters, had our business commitments disrupted yet again and had to endure a boarded up window, right next to our bed for the nest kart if two weeks. It would have surely have been better to not fit the window at all. The Fitters also left pieces of window plastic, a plastic spacer and old Sealant on the conservatory roof and in the gutter. I had to gain access from a neighbours property and climb a wall to retrieve the pieces from the gutter and roof. Which is presumably why the Fitters didn’t bother to retrieve them themselves.
On top of this, we noticed scrape marks on our paintwork to the side and above the window.
On the date of the third attempted fitting day, my partner couldn’t rearrange her work schedule so I had to take another unpaid day off.
After fitting the pane, I voiced a few of my concerns to the fitter, and he told me he would relay my issues to a manager and said I would receive a call from him. This didn’t happen.
Upon checking the fitting after he’d gone, we noticed smears of dark sealant down the side of the window on the paintwork. This on top of the marks left by the first fitters. Not only did we have to paint the window surround, we also had to clean the glass as it had to hand and smear marks on it.
Also, the windows come with security locks and we didn’t received any keys. Very important as this is stipulated in our home insurance therefore the integrity of our insurance is in jeopardy.
So to summarise. It took almost 5 weeks to fit a single window unit. I feel every single aspect of this job, has been flawed right from the beginning. communications, reliability, professionalism, integrity, customer care and respect, workmanship, etc etc, has fallen a long way short of what we expected from a company that promotes and advertises itself the way you do. It took nearly 5 weeks and caused unnecessary stress to us and our businesses and has cost me personally, lost revenue and an interruption to both my own and my partners busy work schedules.
I have since been informed that there was a big shake up of the company which has resulted in a few negative aspects and ‘incidents’ here and there. Clearly and unfortunately we were part of this collateral damage. I’m in the building trade and world of mouth goes along way in relatively small town areas like this.
Shame.

Regarding the missing keys, this is a serious oversight, especially considering the implications for your home insurance. I will ensure that the keys are delivered to you as a priority, and we will take the necessary steps to prevent such an oversight in the future.
I understand that you and your partner have been significantly impacted by this, both personally and professionally. I would like to offer compensation for the lost income due to the time you had to take off work, as well as for the inconvenience and stress this situation has caused. Please contact our office directly so we can discuss this further and arrange a suitable resolution.

Permaframe glass roof replacement…
Permaframe visited our home in April 24 to replace a shattered glass roof panel. The two guys that did the repairs were really good and fingers crossed, roof now looking good and watertight. Kayleigh in customer services very good and helpful. Only criticism would be length of time (2 months) it took for the roof repair to be done. Made up panel got sent to Scotland instead of bristol which added to delay. With a shattered glass roof a persistent uk rain, water damage is of great concern.

Excellent service
We would like to say a big thank you to Dan & Brian from Permaframe who installed our doors and windows. I must admit we were a bit apprehensive at the thought of having all our doors and windows replaced at the same time but Dan & Brian were great. They worked very hard and always kept us informed about what was happening and also gave us different choices on how we wanted the installation to be finished off. It is nice to see that there are still people around that make it their top priority to make sure the customer is pleased with the service they are getting. They cleaned up everything when they had finished and took all of the rubish and replaced materials away when they left. Permaframe - Great team of people
Our initial appointment with Dougie was informative and led us to make a couple of changes to our window set up which have made things a lot easier. Ben, who fitted our previous windows, came a few days later to do a survey and as always was prompt, efficient and knowledgeable. The installation date was agreed much quicker than originally thought, and within a couple of weeks Dan and Brian arrived to fit the windows. They were friendly and worked well together, even replacing some tiles for us that cracked when an old window was taken out and they left everything clean and tidy. We had a small issue with the window handles being too stiff after installation, but Ben returned and rectified the issue quickly.
All in all it was a stress free and efficient service. We have used Permaframe twice now and wouldn’t hesitate to use them again.

Happy with our 2 replacement windows. Overall a good experience. Very happy with sales process where he was answering our questions and not just pushing for a signature.
Brian and Dan did a good job of the installation despite the way the previous 25-year old windows had been fitted.
