I have been using BNY Mellon for a time because my old financial advisor set it up for me. I really do not like it. Every time I try to log in to my BNY Mellon account something goes wrong. I get a message that my password is wrong my account is locked or there is a technical error. I have a lot of money $175,000 in my BNY Mellon account. It is really hard for me to get to it. When I need help it is very difficult to get someone on the phone because the hours they are available are not good. I really worry about tax season because I know it will be a problem with BNY Mellon.
If BNY Mellon has been giving you a lot of trouble like it has for me: you should get in touch with Poma Advisory. They can help you move your money to a place.
The main thing I want to say is that you should stay away, from BNY Mellon. It is a big headache.

I have used this company for years (this is what a financial advisor that I trusted used) and I hate it. It feels impossible to log into my account, and the hours are hard for me to get ahold of them by phone. I literally dread doing my taxes because of them.

Their NetXInvestor portal is very basic and generic. It will not sync with any aggregator services. So while they claim to allow you to manage your finance, they are essentially blocking it themselves!

They would not provide me information on my account - referring me back to my broker - who I left because of his bad advice, including the investments held by Pershing. In effect, Pershing is shielding him.

My review relates to Pershing's Liverpool office. Terrible management. Limited opportunities to progress. Avoid.
