If you cancel your insurance they will continually hit you with bogus audits and new charges to your credit card. If you try to call and reach the audit department for clarification or to explain the charges you will be on hold indefinitely. Cancel your credit card or dispute the charges every time they try to charge. I've cancelled my policy 6 months ago and they still try to bill my card.

Few years using it and when decided not to renew with them, the audit start finding extra charges 8 months after policy expired.
And charge to your credit card, even having writing
not authorized charges.
Never again.

Her customer service skills were outstanding.

Had a medical assistant get an accidental needle stick. I called the company to report it in case anything further was needed. Huge mistake. Nothing was needed. No claim was made. No expense incurred. But, our coverage was canceled due to "Loss History." So, pay them for insurance coverage, but don't dare file any claims. Got it. Moving on. I have a feeling it's because we're a small medical clinic with one part-time employee, they felt they didn't need to bother with us. Why approve us if we're such a huge risk?

Kelly really truly did help us out when we were in need of it urgently!! She did it all in a timely manner! She had really good communication and asked all the right questions!!! Truly grateful for her help!

Stay away from this company, I've been with them for about 2 years and the customer service is not good, their audits take very long and you get hit with owed large premiums years later.

First off - The Five Star rating is for "LYDIA SCHELLER" (not for Pie). I have been writing with Pie for a few years and it seems that the customer service has slowly declined (in my experience) over time.

My clients policy cancelled due to non payment (completely fair)

He completed his audit and I re-wrote his workers compensation policy with another company per my insureds request.

A couple months later he gets a random $567 direct draft from his account that says "Pie Insurance"

I call the company and explain the situation. They say that the policy was reinstated and that is why they drafted his account.

There was no record of neither Me (Agent) nor the insured requesting any form of reinstatement. We had re written the coverage through another company so there was no reason we would want this.

It took me 4 weeks, 5 emails, and about 4 hours + on the phone with Pie to get him his money back which was incorrectly drafted.

I talked to several customer service reps, sent letters of cancellation, and proof that the coverage had been replaced to no avail. Each representative told me after waiting forever that the money would be sent back but it never did.

One day I called and Lydia Scheller answered my call. She took the time to listen to the situation and felt bad for all I had been through. She took it upon herself to make sure this matter was taken care of once and for all. People like Lydia give me faith that there are people in the world that want to help others. She could have just as easily treated me like everyone else at Pie and just brushed me off or told me it would be "taken care of". She deserves a much better position in the company than her current status as a billing rep. She will prove to be an extremely valuable resource to any company that she is at. Finding people that genuinely care is tough these days. When you find them you need to keep them in your corner. Thank Lydia! You are the best!

Pie Insurance has always made things easy for me and they are very nice to deal with, too.

I have been trying to contact the Audit Department, nobody returned my call for almost 2 weeks, and I just received an email saying there's nothing they can do to help me. They just have ignored my multiple requests to talk to somebody.

Audit results are inaccurate and they are trying to charge me for an amount that exceeds my actual payroll. They keep trying to charge my card even though I have tried repeatedly to respond or contact ANYONE. They cannot be reached by phone nor email. I’m beginning to think the worst of this company.

I provided all information in a timely manner at the time of my business closing. 9 months after the business and all accounts were closed, Pie sent me an invoice for the audit submitted 9 months prior. Stay away from this company since they apparently can't do things in a timely manner and then are no help to try to resolve this.

Impossible to get a hold of. They do not answer emails or phone calls. So if you have change or claim on your policy it will not happen. There is also no way to cancel your policy online. They will keep charging your card on file. SCARY company to be handling your Workers Comp insurance.
