They are great until you try to leave them. It’s impossible to cancel a recurring lotto payment and it’s even more impossible to close your account. You can’t stop recurring payments on app. You need to go to website. I’m trying to delete my account for over a month. You can request this on the app but then they send you a link to click that doesnt work to tell them you have no outstanding payments. Their email is no reply so you can’t sent it that way either. They don’t make it easy to leave.

So I had a payment from my account with CLUBFORCE and an Rep of Ireland telephone number of the reference. I had no idea what it was at the time as im in Northern Ireland, and contacted them through webchat on their website. The adviser couldnt find my payment which was worrisome, however after chatting I recalled it was for a running club race that I entered for a family member.

Whilst it would be useful to add the name of the company they are collecting on behalf off, I wouldnt just jump to "scam" if you have a payment come out. They process on behalf of lotteries and sportsclubs.

Extremely bad user experience on I phone Clubforce interface. When I complained to Clubforce, about how difficult it was to pay them, I got a rude message back on zen desk that said the following -

“Hello,

In the first paragraph of the article you spent a lot of time providing feedback on, it clearly shows the URL you need to log into to access your member account.”

The tone of the reply shows that this company do not value customer service or user experience.

Also no receipt sent to my email to confirm the payment I made. Every other company is sending customers email receipts for payments made online.

There is no option to cancel or stop your lotto renewals in the website. In their help guide we are required to login to a different website to stop the automatic payments. That website doesn't accept the clubforce credentials and it never send a code to your email when you try to login. The option to cancel a payment renewal should be easy and clear.
