I read the negative reviews on playtimearcades.com after I had made the purchase. I was anxious and reached out to a representative named Mario who allayed my suspicions. Playtime provided me with a tracking number, and a shipping receipt as well as professional communication. My Arcade build was a custom job that arrived in a timely manner and was exactly as described. My build has Sinden Guns, wired Xbox controllers and a wireless keyboard. From my experience, I recommend Playtimearcade.com.

SCAM.
ordered in nov 2020, and even with the year long wait, I waited patiently. Now, there's zero communication, they don't answer email, phones, anything. simply disappeared with the money. Stay away.

This company is a SCAM! The ordering process goes smoothly, but you will never get your machine and you will have to fight to get your money back. Each year around the first of November, he updates his website and his production list so that the business looks legit in anticipation of Christmas orders. Then he updates it again in January/February with all the new orders he has taken over the holidays. After, NOTHING HAPPENS until the cycle starts over again the next fall.

In December 2020, I ordered a custom Helios console for my husband for Christmas. The ordering process was easy and Michael was quick to answer all of my questions via email. I paid over $3,200 in full to get the quickest production, which was listed as 26 weeks at the time. After Christmas, the production list was updated on the website and my name and order was added with a production begin date of July 9, 2021. In late July 2021, I still hadn't heard from the company, so I reached out via email. I received no response. I followed up with several more emails and phone calls over the next month and was met with silence each time. I was left no other choice but to dispute the purchase with my credit card company. Playtime Arcades disputed my dispute. In the end, after about 3 months of working with my credit card company and over a year since I originally ordered the machine, I finally got my money back.

Do yourself a favor and stay far away from this company.

I just wanted to share my experience with Playtime Arcades. I ordered my arcade in the first part of 2020, one of their Zeus upright arcade machines. The wait time when I bought it was a little crazy at 9 months, but I really liked their site and what they had to offer so I went out on a limb and purchased in full. About 8 months after I ordered, Michael (the owner) contacted me to discuss my custom art. That process was easy, he let me choose my colors, theme, characters on the vinyl and everything. About 3 weeks after a semi drove into my neighborhood and I received my arcade off of the truck. It was VERY well packaged and the driver rolled it up to my door. With a little help from a friend I was able to get it inside. I turned it on and I was blown away. The quality of the art, paint, buttons, even the software ... I'm impressed! I immediately sent an email to Michael to thank him for such great job. I was surprised when he said most of his customers never contact him again once their machine arrives so I thought I'd spread the word.

I love my new arcade but, although I don't think I'll ever have to buy another, if I was to buy one more I definitely know where I'll be buying from. Hope this helps someone.
