We won’t be returning as our holiday was ruined.

This holiday to Calpe in villa alamendra was really disappointing. We arrived at the villa and within an hour decided to nip to Aldi for some food and drinks. On our return around 40 minutes later we had been burgled. All of the window shutters and doors we opened were locked. They had got in through the garage window and we had not entered there. I’m sure this was an inside job 😤. On returning the keys to plus holidays a week later the receptionist said they had had issues with burglaries just lately but this was not mentioned when we picked the keys up. Just note that there is no safe in the property either.

AVOID AVOID AVOID

AVOID PLUS HOLIDAYS - AVOID! The experience I had with this company was utterly terrible. I was told at the point of going to pick the villa key up at their office in Calpe that the villa was double booked and there’s nothing more they can do. This is a booking I made 5 months ago! I even contacted Plus Holidays a few days before we flew to Spain to check everything was ok. I was told it was. We’re a family with 2 young children. We were left to drive around Calpe at midnight trying to find a family room hotel at peak season. We had no where to stay for the next 2 weeks of our holiday. Shocking.

Alquilamos una propiedad (Villa Cohete)…

Alquilamos una propiedad (Villa Cohete) en Calpe desde el 29/05 al 01/06.
La casa posee una buena estructura y ubicación como también la limpieza de la misma, pero el gran problema que encontramos fue con la empresa PLUS HOLIDAYS, que administran la propiedad y por la que seguramente los propietarios le deben abonar bastante.
Vamos a enumerar:
1) Hora de ingreso..... Luego 16 :00 hs.......Hora obligada de salida 10:00 hs. Es cierto que Beatrice (Creo que se llamaba así) nos extendió extraordinariamente hasta las 11:00 hs.
2) Lógicamente teníamos que dejar un depósito de 500 € por cual rotura que pudiéramos hacer. Dicho importe será devuelto (veremos si es cierto) a las 48 hs hábiles posteriores a nuestro check out, pero le pedí una vez realizado el pago, un comprobante del valor retenido y me manifestaron QUE NO ME LO PODIAN DAR, porque ellos no tenían el dinero, que el valor se encontraba en la "nube "y no en su cuenta.
3) Llegamos a las 17:30 hs a la propiedad y NO TENIAMOS LUZ en la planta baja
4) No teníamos agua caliente
5) Teníamos previsto cenar una Barbacoa, pero.... no teníamos gas, por lo que no pudimos realizarlo. Además la barbacoa estaba totalmente sucia
6) Una de las sombrillas estaba rota
7) Una casa preparada para 6 personas, no tenía tumbonas para 6 , solo 5 y 2 colchonetas, estas 5 tumbonas estaban ROTAS y arregladas con madera y cinta.
8) a las 20:00 hs un Sr. concurrió a arreglar el inconveniente de Luz, a poner la bombona en la barbacoa, cambiar la sombrilla y tener agua caliente... 3 horas después de nuestro arribo.
9) Al día siguiente me comunico nuevamente con la Srita Beatrice, le manifiesto mi incomodidad y ella me manifiesta que me entiende pero que no esta en sus manos que la casa este siempre preparada para el arribo de los huéspedes ( No cobran por y para eso???). Le digo que me robo 3 horas de mis pequeñas vacaciones y le manifiesto que quiero de vuelta mis 3 horas robadas, a lo que me responde... solo le puedo permitir salir a las 12:00 hs. Asimismo me informa que ellos solo poseen 5 tumbonas para esa casa y que no pueden colocar una mas.
10) A las 15 hs del dia posterior a nuestra llegada un correcto Sr. Cubano, concurre a armar y limpiar la barbacoa

En conclusión, la casa es MARAVILLOSA, pero los administradores dejan mucho que desear!!
Me gustaría que este mensaje llegue a los Sres. propietarios de Villa Cohete de Calpe, para que sepan quienes son quienes los representan, pues la imagen y los comentarios son adversos y la casa NO LOS MERECE, pero si los merecen vuestros administradores.

Arrived at PlusHolidays Calpe office

Arrived at PlusHolidays Calpe office, Saturday 20th April at 13.00 to pick up the keys to our Villa Amanecer. The young man that my partner spoke to at the front desk was disinterested with the key handover . We weren’t given a guide map of the area , very poor customer service .
We arrived at our Villa to find that we’d been given the wrong keys , we were given the keys for Villa Arenal !!
I phoned the emergency number twice and was advised the office was closed until 4pm (siesta) !!
I said we were very unhappy about the service we’d received and was told that WE Could collect the correct keys from the Calpe office at 4pm
I advised the lady I was talking to that it was their problem/ mistake and to get us the correct keys ASAP . We waited 45 mins and eventually their maintenance man arrived to unlock the villa for us , he stated we had to wait for him to go and collect the correct keys from the Calpe office. We waited a further hour for his arrival with the correct keys !! He was the only member of staff with any manners / courteousness … the villa was ok …. I wouldn’t use PlusHolidays Calpe again if that is the level of their customer service !!

Security deposit return…

I am still waiting for my security deposit to be returned to me. They keep telling me it was paid on the 26/3/24. The information used to pay my return has nothing to do with my account. Why can't they automatically pay back to my credit card used like all the car rentals do. I email them with all my details and don't return or respond. I've telephoned the office and they couldn't wait to end my call and tell me they will check. I'm now making a dispute payment with my credit card company which could take a while. In the meantime I'm going to pay the credit card company to avoid interest payment with no fault of mine...

Una experiencia recomendable en todas sus villas por desgracia reservemos con otra agencia llamada abanabillas y lleguemos y nos encontremos con algo súper desagradable y Plusholidays nos solucionó todo al encontrarles Tatiana nos atendió de maravilla y nos quedemos un día mas de lo que teníamos previsto para pasar unos días en familia y con amigos súper recomendable villa salada una pasada 🥰

Alleged Damage Charge

Stayed in Villa Garrofer for 1 week with family. There were a couple of niggles whilst there like road noise, no folder with information about the villa/surrounding area, PlusHolidays refusal to assist me to arrange a taxi to their office to retun keys etc, but I could overlook this. What I cannot accept is to have a credit card charge, AFTER they have already refunded my security deposit, for alleged damage which they will not give me details of. Despite asking them twice, they are not responding with the information I have asked for. They have given incorrect information to Booking.com, telling them they have charged me one amount when they actually charged me a completely different amount.

Will not use them again and urge anybody who has booked with them to take photographs of everything on arrival to avoid being conned with an alleged damage charge on their return home.

AVOID Plusholidays!

We stayed in Villa Rodrigo Benissa, Valencia - the agent is Plusholidays. The villa was is need of a refresh and had a number of things wrong- not very comfortable. The company has proved to be lacking in customer focussed service.
When we discovered we needed to go to their office to pick up keys and then go to the villa ,we immediately asked for a refund as all that seemed a lot of hassle. Not allowed.
We arrived at the office latish in the evening, dropped off by taxi and then we had to ask them to take to the villa, which they weren't planning for- did in their property van! Had to pay 50 euros for that! Took a deposit for 500 euros from credit card but are saying they can't refund back on credit card and and to sent IBAN and SWIFT numbers but not yet refunded!
Other issues too- DO NOT USE THEM!

Robo con fuerza.
Con fecha 6-4-2023 alquilamos Villa Zelda, gestionada por Plus Holidays en Calp Alicante, cuatro apartamentos para 18 personas . Recogimos las llaves en la oficina y fuimos a dejar el equipaje a la villa, revisamos los apartamentos y vimos que uno no tenia luz, llamamos y nos dijeron que enviarían a un técnico, cuando regresamos a las 18.00 nos duchamos y arreglamos y fuimos a cenar sobre las 20.30, cuando regresamos a las 23.00 nos encontramos las ventanas abiertas de tres de los apartamentos y nos dimos cuenta que alguien había forzado las mismas y nos habían robado el bote común de 3656€, dos carteras con su correspondiente documentación, la mia con 60€ en efectivo, a otro compañero con 150€ y a otro su teléfono móvil, llamamos al teléfono de Plus Holidays de urgencias y no contestaron, llamamos a la Guardia Civil y se personaron en Villa Zelda, hicieron una inspeccion y nos comentaron que no era la primera vez. A continuación fuimos a la oficina de Plus Holidays a poner una reclamación pero no se persono ni el gerente o CEO de la empresa Sr. Such
Con la premura que actuaron los delincuentes creemos que o nos vigilaron o tenían un contacto cerca... A dia de hoy ningún responsable de Plus Holidays se ha puesto en contacto con nosotros.
Cucarachas, un de las lavadoras no funcionaba, no había mantas. Una experiencia desagradable, para no repetir.

What a terrible company

What a terrible company. Stayed in what was more like a youth hostel than hotel which was cold and dirty. They charged us an extra £100 for our flight home from Italy too after having paid for everything before we went away.

Faceless company with no concern for customer service

We booked a 2 week stay in one of their villas near Xabia in August 2022. We were so upset to arrive and find the place looked nothing like the photos. We turned up to this property 2 hours after the agreed check in time and found cleaners still inside, and the outside was filthy - covered in bird poo and cigarette butts (we have a 1 year old baby too so this was appalling for us). The place looked nothing like the pictures - there was missing furniture in all the outdoor seating areas which left them unusable. They leave nothing to welcome guests - no information booklet at all (so for example, we had no idea where to put rubbish bags), nothing to clean with and certainly no welcome things in the fridge. Our air conditioning was not working for 3 days, so we had a baby sleeping in a sweltering room of over 30 degrees. Plusholidays did attempt to fix things over the first 5 days but we had to be on the phone to get anything done. When you spend thousands on a family holiday you expect so much more, and you certainly do not want to be on the phone complaining. They are truly awful hosts. They also refused to offer any compensation at all - they did not care that their customers were completely let down, frustrated and devastated at the money spent.

Plusholidays was not helpfull

Plusholidays was very helpfull over the lockdown and covid period where they held our deposit. We got to the villa and there we was told by the cleaners that we had to go to the office which was in the main town off Calpe, we was the other side of the rock, 40 mins walk, 29°. We had a conversation on the phone and they agreed to let someone meet us with keys at 4°clock. Then there was a call about a deposit so that had to be made over the phone. We decided to go to the office as we didn't have any idea where we was going to leave the keys when we left, and they said u have to put them in the box on the wall of the office, explained again we have no transport but they was very unhelpful and told us to contact our transfer team and get them to drop us off. No information pack in the villa we had to keep calling them about things which incurres a fee!.
We wouldn't use this agent again, very disappointing as they started out to be fair.

Where do we start AVOID !!!

Where do we start no service made us meet at the agency to run to the property the prices are over priced the apartment was filthy and not shown how to operate shutters

Given no keys to lock the main gates

Asked to check out early and refused I would not recommend and have taken a case up with the bank

Do not use this company

Do not use this company, booked villa in January for October 2020 and flights have been cancelled, FCO advise not to travel,also quarantine in place . Plusholidays refusing refund and charging full cost to cancel. When you try to rebook for another date no options available.

AVOID AT ALL COSTS

Avoid this company at all costs . As other reviews have rightly said, they thief your money ! On advice from UK government not to travel to Spain, Plus Holidays refused to refund any of our money despite repeated attempts !!
They quoted they were acting on advice from their Lawyer, but again when asked for the contact details of said Lawyer , this was ignored !! (They didn’t have one!!!)
They contradicted their own T&Cs on numerous times and when challenged would just ignore ! All emails were then blocked !
Please please do not book with this company - they are the worst excuse for a travel company and are extremely untrustworthy!!!
I had to give it one star as I could not give it zero !!

Avoid at all cost!!!

Avoid at all cost. Disgusting thiefs. You are renting a disgusting flat/villa for the price of a 5 star hotel without the cleaning and the service. Photos and description on their website don't match at all with the real flat. Just shameful. Spanish authorities have to close this scam company. In our side we will do everything in our power to make them to close down. They are stealing people. They are renting unsafe place (with broken windows by the way), disgusting (not clean when you book in high season and pay 200euros per night) at a very high price... People that have been victims of this disgusting company needs to contact as soon as possible spanish authorities to stop those horrible people and scamming customers. Scam advertising: you don't have at all for what you pay. They are liars. Customers are protecting by law against this type of scam. Contact authorities systematically. Floor disgusting, property broken, not rentable, staff unfriendly and speaking to customers inappropriately when you are telling them the same day you enter in the property that the property is dirty, the property unbreathabe, lights not working in some rooms, broken windows, bedshits full of dust...Extremely shameful. And of course they don't mind. They dare to take you money to clean the property once you leave...Ironic...Those people needs to be sued and send to court. Because this is the only thing that needs to be done with them: to close that company that steal people. This is forbidden by law. What they are doing is illegal and they need to understand it. All those people deserve to be unemployed... Crazy is not it? But it is the case... We are disgusted. People needs to avoid to do the same mistake than us. We have been screwed. I can't say it more clearly and strongly for any of you to avoid them at all cost.

Holidays with maintenance staff!!

If you want to spend the holidays with the maintenance staff of Plusholidays, you should definitely book villa ZELDA. (or probably any other villa for that matter)

From day one they are there to help you with all the issues you will encounter.

House full of cockroaches, you got it! They will come flying with poison for you – your baby will look like a polka dot lollipop after just a few hours! Hilarious!

You want to cook, no problem, they will come there to tell you it works fine and leave after boiling some water. Then when you start your cooking for real on the non-existing heat on the hobs, be sure to be friends with the other apartments holder, you will definitely need to use theirs instead.

Oh but wait, first be sure to check you can actually turn them on or off, because the knobs might fall in your hands while trying.

What else, oh yes, the washing. Let’s try that one out for a few hours with soap still being in the clothes. Of course we got a new one, getting to spend some quality time with the maintenance, who want to lay on the beach anyways?

And while we are talking about washing let’s move on to the dishes. All fully packed with plates and glasses we were fairly surprised to find the door not being able to be closed. Let’s call them lovely boys one more time to change that machine too!

Wifi, ever heard of it? Well you won’t get it, unless you are fortunate enough to live in the apartment with the actual router. Oh what am I saying, they won’t get it either. But don’t worry, the maintenance guys will be there and support you and try all they can before you get more company from the internet provider. Two days in the house they will say what they told the last guests, the house is in need of another connection… oh to bad it cost more money, who is gonna pay? But hey, the lovely staff att Plusholiday office will inform you that their wifi at their home is also bad, such a comfort.

BBQ in the description sounded like a nice touch to our already fabulous stay, it took a while to find it, but who needs more than a dirty, rusty 35 cm wide grill for a 24 people house. Let’s fire those steaks up!

I hope you are not afraid of the dark, arriving in the middle of the night without one functioning lamp in the bedroom can be quite challenging. Too bad we didn’t find the number to maintenance that time, it was also lost in the dark!

The beds are sure to keep you up, but you are not here to sleep are you? They will keep waking you up with the lovely squeaky sound from the springs and metal and if you still having trouble staying awake, they also made sure to have really hard uncomfortable beds for you. Have to enjoy every minute awake now don’t we!

But don’t worry, they check the house on a regularly basis so I am sure none of the above will ever happen to you. If I forgot to mention, the owner is also trying to sell the house so the compassion for fixings I am sure is sky high.

Oh and if you expect to get any compensation for the 24 hour helpers on your vacation forget it, they did all they could right, even giving you extra company on your vacation. You should pay more!

Fantastisk

Helt igennem fantastisk oplevelse at booke igennem Plus Holidays.
Det er den bedste service vi nogensinde har oplevet, både de ansatte på kontoret og service medarbejderne.
Den villa vi lejede var perfekt og præcis som beskrevet, der manglede intet og alt var perfekt.
Vi lejer helt sikkert hos dem igen.
