Great journey using the app and working through the projects and tasks with the mentorship provided

A memorable experience

My child started the mentoring program with Sannah B in January this year and will finish it this month. They worked at a high-performance pace, without compromises. If your dream is research, then Polygence is the right place. Ianu (Sebastian Nicolae Vaia), my child, has the scholarship, we would never have been able to afford this program and we are grateful for that.
It is very different from what a high school student who is only 16 years old usually does. It is also different from the Olympiads, from physics in Ianu's case. It is something much more complex and requires thousands of pages read in a short time, synthesis capacity, creativity, intelligence at least at the level of MENSA.
The mentor matters a lot, and Sannah B is what Ianu needed.
He is just a little distrustful of publishing individual research or just scared by the reviews that say that most are rejected, although, in the absence of official statistics, I do not think that statement is true.
However, Polygence is a memorable experience that greatly raised Ianu's level and opened his path to research. In September, he will also participate in the Polygence Symposium.

The amazing thing about Polygence is that its researching platform enables young minds to get motivated in the study they truly love. They not only take this as fun, but able to showcase their work through publications, competitions, and so much more. I would like to thank the Polygence team for making me feel motivated and seen as a professional person I am yet to be.

It was really great . I had a wonderful mentor who guided me during the project.She was insightful, patient and kind .She made it an amazing experience for writing a research paper for the first time.

It was quite expensive for me. That wasn’t an issue but for students who are looking for research I would not say it’s worth it. Additionally, my mentor was not much help in the field I was interested in and kind of just helped me write the paper. We had a good relationship, at least that’s what I thought, but when I asked if she could write a letter of recommendation for me she refused and ghosted me then onwards. Also you are only paired with Phd students so it’s not like doing actual research, it will be literature review. Overall I think it was good for getting me into research but throughout high school, you will learn how to write papers and cite sources anyway so I don’t think the program is worth paying for.

I was connected with a good mentor and had a good experience. I enjoyed working with her.

Great program. Mentored by faculty with the highest level and experience and even got my paper published.

My instructor was very helpful. She helped me and gave me the proper guidance throughout my project and helped me a lot.

The mentor I had was extremely knowledgeable and she gave her best insight into the research I conducted. She was great and responsive! I think the publisher I had could have done better and was more disorganized than my main mentor.

The program was excellent overall. Our mentor Claire provided tremendous support and encouragement, inspiring my daughter to confidently pursue this challenging subject.

The guidance and my mentor were the best

I would definitely recommend this for any middle school and high school student, or anyone for that matter, but especially teens my age(i’m a junior in high school), it was fulfilling and fun experience overall and i plan on doing it as many times as money allows lol😄✨
