The lighting set draws 3 W, but the manufacturer packages it with a transformer rated for a maximum of only 3.6 W. As a result, the power supply constantly runs at over 83% of its total capacity. Inside a sealed plastic housing during summer heat, it stands no chance of cooling down, leading to gradual thermal degradation—meaning the transformer dies shortly after the warranty expires.
The manufacturer should really take a hard look in the mirror. For a product with an estimated manufacturing cost of €8–12 (200–300 CZK) that actually sells for €65+ (1,600+ CZK), cutting corners on component ratings is pure arrogance. With such a massive profit margin, a design flaw like this is inexcusable, and customers should hold them accountable.
Don't get scammed, and don't buy the overpriced original replacement part. Just buy any universal 12V AC transformer rated at 10–20 W (e.g. on Allegro/eBay for around €8 / 200 CZK) with the same screw-on connector. It will run cool, last for years, and show the manufacturer that we won't tolerate this kind of behavior.

J'ai acheté une pompe Pontec PONDOSOLAR 150 juste pour faire une animation dans un pot rempli d'eau de pluie. Le temps de faire les réglages pour que le panneau solaire capte suffisamment de soleil car il faut du plein soleil pour que la pompe daigen se mettre en marche. La pompe a du fonctionner 5 fois en tout et pour tout et elle est morte : elle ne fonctionne plus. Le magasin où je l'ai acheté me dit qu'elle n'ai garantie que 1 an. C'est d'une qualité minable payé à prix d'or 60 euros !

Acheté une pompe Pontec pondoreil 1500 uvc solar ; toute la pompe remonte à la surface ; une horreur concernant les têtards de crapauds pris au piège dans la mousse bleue...et certainement plus au vu de la faune présente dans notre bassin ; concernant le module solaire : à incliner selon la course du soleil - inopérant si une feuille de végétation (...et petite !) vient "obscurcir" une minuscule partie du panneau solaire - sensibilité nulle en cas de nebolusité - installation du panneau nulle, petit piquet fourni inopérant nécessitant une installation système D-
Pour un matériel se prévalant d'un système solaire...et le prix inhérent : une honte !!!! Je ne recommande pas ce produit !

We purchased a pontec pondosolar 600
After leaving it in the Sun for a number of days we noticed it was not working and did not charge the battery and would not run the pump for the pond.
Dealing with the issue has been near on impossible as it has a lithium battery and cannot be sent back via normal channels.
The manufacturer insists they retest everything and cannot do video calls to Look at the product.
They need to do more testing before they sell the product rather than when they get it returned
A complete waste of time

Ich habe im Februar diesen Jahres über Amazon ein Pontec Unterwasserfilter PondoRell 3000 erworben und im April zum ersten Mal im Teich eingesetzt. Leider zeigte der blaue Filterschwamm bereits im Juni erste Auflösungserscheinungen. Die Reklamation über Amazon bei dem Händler - und später auch direkt an den Händler per E-Mail und telefonisch - blieb erfolglos.

In meiner Enttäuschung habe ich mich telefonisch direkt an Pontec gewendet und meine Erfahrung mit dem Händler geschildert.

Seitens Pontec ist man mir sofort entgegengekommen und hat mir ein kostenloses Filterset zugeschickt.
Das nennt man Kundenservice! Vielen Dank an Pontec!

This company is terrible, their air pumps are rubbish and do not last, I bought the 3600 and it was useless, the motor burns out and it has always been underpowered.
I have written to the company twice without even an acknowledgement or response.
They do not care about their customers - STAY CLEAR!!

Manufacturer of pond pumps and the like. Do not be misled by their 3-year warranty. If the rotor in your pump fails in that time and your fish die while you are chasing support, you will be told this is “normal wear”. Don’t expect a refund from this slimy lot. Replacing the rotor is not straightforward for a non-specialist, nor is it particularly cheap. Ours failed within two years, and yes, our fish suffocated as a result. This company only gains a second star as its customer service agent was willing to walk us through rotor replacement. We won’t be using this company again. We did have a Laguna branded one before (the impeller blades eventually broke on that), but at least it lasted four years with no other issue.
