We have had some post installation…
We have had some post installation problems with the boiler including a leak on the worktop. The repairs were carried out and we were happy with the service but after the two year guarantee expired and more repairs were needed we felt we were charged more than we expected for the work on a boiler less than three years old.

Thank you for your feedback. We’re pleased to hear that you were happy with the service provided when the initial issues arose.
We would like to clarify that we provide a two-year guarantee on our workmanship and the parts used as part of the installation. However, we do not receive a guarantee from our suppliers on the parts used beyond the terms they provide to us.
It is also important to clarify that the defective parts requiring replacement were not components within the new boiler itself. There were no issues or faults with the boiler itself; the repairs related to separate parts and components associated with the installation/system.
When the additional repairs were required after the two-year guarantee had expired, we discounted the cost of the repair work as a gesture of goodwill. We also made numerous calls and provided assistance free of charge in an effort to help resolve the issues without adding unnecessary costs.
We understand that it can be disappointing to require repairs on a system that is less than three years old, and we appreciate your concerns regarding the cost. However, the boiler itself was not defective, and the repairs required were outside our two-year guarantee period.
We always aim to be fair and transparent with our customers and, in this instance, we believe we have made every reasonable effort to assist and keep the costs to you as low as possible.

Attention to detail was very reassuring as was the promptness and efficiency in all interactions. Dan's experience with installations meant that he was able to readily evolve a neat solution to overcome what we had earlier thought were tricky installation issues.
All this confirmed our belief that it always better to deal with a local business.
