I bought a milk and the cap was turned and very loose also I bought 2 bags of green beans and both bags had slime on them also I got a rotisserie chicken and that wasn't very good I ll stick with Aldi

A great place to shop! Very clean! Very helpful if you need assistance! You can purchase your groceries and lottery in the store as well as flowers or some plants . They also have a pharmacy available. There is a deli for fresh sliced meats or cheeses, or food on the go! There is a sit down area to eat inside the store. There is a bakery department and also a meat and seafood department! There is also a wine section. Oh don’t forget the buy one get one sales!!! Merritt Island on 520 is great workers! They also have self check out areas or cashiers to ring you up! Yes they do sell tobacco items !

Sorry that this is late but me and my granddaughter decided to get a Publix sub first they acted like we were not standing there. Once someone can the the first thing Elizabeth did was coughing in her hands and then proceeded to put on gloves now that made me leave at once. This Publix on university and goldenrod in Orlando Florida they all need to do safe serve all over again I will make my own subs at home

So myself worked for Publix since January 16,2023 part time associate bagger / greeter work at Cape Coral Parkway west FL 127 everyone of my co workers we all care for all shoppers love my managers store manager Terri my name is Steven Barone last name Italian am myself at times shy male Publix we encourage shoppers to bring their good smiles ,& their own shopping bags . We don’t allow rudeness to whomever goes to all Publix stores or any foul cussing. Strive kindness.

We had a wine tasting event scheduled for 6p.m. My trays of cheese and veggies, chicken tenders and fruit were to be ready at 4:45p. Into the store I go....no trays? That said, the Deli Manager, Kelly and the two ladies that man the Catering department (Kelly and Lisa) rose ABOVE AND BEYOND to prepare them with 1/2 hr to spare. I was able to deliver and set them out. I am so grateful for their response to this urgency. It is my neighborhood store (Boca Village/St. Andrews). I let the store manager, Jason know of his exemplary team. The food was delicious and the event was a big success. THANK YOU

It is about Publix pharmacy at 1405 S. Federal hwy , pompano, 33062.
It is the worst pharmacy in USA.
They NEVER have the medication and I should wait 5 to 10 days.
Last month they refused my medication saying that my insurance was expired when my insurance was up to date.
Also they charge the medication when is cover by the insurance.
They promise the medication but they do not have,
even I wait for days.
BE CAREFUL.

Publix feels for the most part more like shopping at Walmart than what Publix use to be. Now, high prices, I find the majority of items are anywhere from .50 cent to 3 dollars an item higher than other stores. Employees on their cell phones while stocking, while waiting on you in the deli, at the checkout even. Their bakery department is not well stocked and has shrunk in the past couple of years. Their bakery is still very tasty but to not have pies, or biscuits, donuts, etc in a bakery is just poor planning.

Milton store would not honor return policy. Purchase liquor through Instacart. Went to store to return. Manager was processing return then recommend I try to process return through Instacart so I could receive the added fees as well. Next day (day 4) spoke with Instacart. They okayed the return then said they could not because they have a 3 day return policy even though Publix is 7 days. Day 6 I returned to liquor store for second time and was told they cannot except returns purchased through Instacart. Three attempts, 3 different responses. No return yet.

I used to love Publix Chicken tender subs. But no more. The chicken tenders are very salty! I complained many times but nothing has been done.

At the store on Military Trl in Deerfield, they cut the hours of the disabled guy who takes care of the flowers. He is only there about 2 hours a week and sometimes only every other week now. He is the only one who will look in the back if I want a certain color or kind of flower. He also will help me find items or reach items on high shelves. He is a really nice guy. The assistant manager takes care of the flowers now, and he crams so many flowers in the display that they get broken and nasty. The manager guy isn't very pleasant either. After reading another post on here, I see that the managers get a bonus if they cut peoples hours or don't get product in. Probably true, as the selection of balloons is so small (they make it look full by putting the same balloon in multiple places on the display) that I go to the dollar store next to Publix for my balloons. Also, the week before a holiday you can't find as many flowers as usual. After the holiday (Easter, Mother's day, etc.) they bring it all back to normal. Sad they would cut the good workers hours so they can get a big bonus. Harming him for their greed is wrong.

I bought some extra lean ground beef 3 days ago. After cooking it I have experienced an undertone of chicken meal, that definitely foul taste. I'm finding the local Publix around Daytona Beach Fl. slipping off a cliff with higher prices and lower quality food. Sad, to say the least. I've also have had to find a manager multiple times in order to get the deli scales cleaned because they were filthy. Remember to look at those scales before buying anything from the deli area. You'll be surprised. That residue stays on them for hours at times.

My visit was fine. Quality of product was poor.

I purchased 2-Dozen roses 🥀 (Set of Red & White) two days before Mother’s Day! Came home to put them in a Vase for my mom for Mother’s Day, and some were dead and some drooping! I pray that they make it one more day! Very Disappointed in the quality of their flowers any more!!!

So for starters we love Publix and we shop there multiple times a week. But I do have a couple questions. Number one why am I constantly asked if I want items put in a bag? Isn’t that what the bags are there for to carry things how about everybody just gets everything packed for them. “ would you like your milk in a bag” …seriously…well of course I would . the question that’s more appropriate is why wouldn’t I ? it’s all wet with condensation I don’t want that rolling all around my backseat and on the floorboards.
Second question is I get asked every time if I found everything I was looking for. I often simply say no I did not to see their reaction, because so far every time they have no follow up to that so it’s strange that they ask in the first place . I don’t know… you train these young people like a robot . say this and ask this but they don’t know what to do or say after that in response.

I have lived in Ft. Lauderdale for 40yrs..and been shopping at Publix for 15yrs or more..I go today to get a Money Order like I have been monthly its always for 350.00...I get asked what's the Money Order for..I thought I misunderstood him..I asked again..he said Publix policy..I have never been asked that before...He said I can go somewhere else to get it..Im 70yrs old I wasnt about to be talked down to like that...I got it and I left didnt want any trouble. It seems Publix has changed with with employees...attitude..and the I dont care attitude. With you guys price gouging you should worry about keeping your business in not blowing them off. The way the country is going. .a Money order should be the least to worry about. Aldis is the store that people need to go to...off brands its food and much cheaper! Plus your respected there. I dont usually write reviews but over a Money order i had to.

Most over priced. Most over staffed with lazy people. Often food old. Im 53 lived on and off in Florida almost 30 years. The worst location is 1258 Ocean Shore Blvd . Ormond Beach Florida. Staff rude. Racist. I heard racial slurs and anti snowbird conversation. A shame in 2026.

As a former (I walked out yesterday before I even clocked in) deli associate, at store 1533 in New Bern, NC… my review is specifically for the general public to understand why they are experiencing such a decline in customer satisfaction.

I started at Publix in September of 2022. My first year was excellent and I believed the big Publix lie… that they care about their associates and customers.

My initial pay increases were great. My ability to provide that ‘Premier customer service’ was easy. We had the appropriate amount of associates in the deli, to ensure we actually could effectively deliver that promise.

It was at around the beginning of my second year when I realized that brand new hires, with no experience, were being hired at a much higher rate. Irritating but… I was still ok with my rate, knowing that my department manager and store manager were both pulling for me to be chosen as a contender for assistant manager (they weren’t. They were gas lighting me, and others, likely because they can quiet any grumbling about pay raises). They kept up gas lighting for quite a while. I finally decided I didn’t want it, as I watched the steady decline in the department, caused by corporate greed

I began to really tune into what was happening at Publix. It was becoming harder and harder to provide the quality service that Publix is known for. We had an over abundance of part time associates, who just refuse to actually work, taking hours from the few part timers who actually do work.

Corporate had already taken away, from managers, the ability to give fair merit based raises.

Corporate soon slashed hours from every department.

They keep jacking the prices. Associates can’t even afford to shop where we work. 95% of associates at my location are not happy and many customers are frustrated.

So here’s what is happening.
1. Corporate is now solely focused on bonuses.
2. Managers are solely focused on bonuses, so we are shorted on supplies and product regularly to keep inventory low. Low inventory means higher inventory bonuses.
3. Being solely focused on bonuses means cutting the hours a department can schedule over the course of a week.
4. Being solely focused on bonuses means ever increasing prices (for the same product that other high end stores charge much less for) and fleecing their customers.
5. They know that the yearly Associate Voice Survey will result in them NOT making the Fortune 500 best companies to work for list… without many new hires to raise the score, explaining why they frequently hire too many part timers at an ever increasing base pay, while screwing over the long term, full time associates and taking hours from our proven part timers. The newcomers don’t realize that in a year, they will not be important to Publix.
6. They refuse to fire anyone, even during the first 90 days when the associates prove to be utterly useless and incompetent, forcing others to pick up the slack. We have one associate who has raised his fist at a female Boars Head representative and has yelled at many female coworkers and our manager. He’s still there, regardless of the fact that he’s proven to be aggressive and violent.

It’s a hostile workplace and I’m so glad to have found the strength to leave. The PTO and free stock are NOT worth destroying my body, the complete lack of work/life balance, the inability to give customers the service they deserve, the incredibly high prices, having to work with people who are violent, incompetent and will never be fired.

They are NOT the company they once were. They’re thriving on a reputation they once deserved, until the founder passed away and his heirs inherited the company and turned it into a greed machine. You aren’t paying premium prices to support a company who supports the people who keep it going. You are being fleeced so millionaires can continue to get wealthier, off your retirement, off your middle income paycheck (that would go much further at other higher end stores like Harris Teeter)

You got rid of the number system at the deli ! This has created a big problem with people waiting in line at the deli from people arguing who is next to be served at the deli ! Please bring the number system back asap !
