I am elated to be leaving this terrible platform. At every turn they extract fee's and spreads and make managing your portfolio difficult. Do yourself a favor and open an account on IBKR. It feels like I am leaving an abusive relationship. I have been using Questrade for over 10 years, and gave them plenty of opportunities to make this right.

Horrible, they want a deposit upfront. Then proceed to say you need to fill out a W9 for compliance and wait 1-3 days for review to finalize your account.
How about don't ask for money first. Called customer service, they gave some lazy option to get my money back. Then says he will call me back,of course that didn't happen.

I don't mind filling out the W9. It is just the run around and how complicated this process has been.
Really wanted to give Questrade a chance and you folks blew it

I spoke with Ajay after he never called back. These people will take your money. Then tell you that you cant withdraw it but send them a void check.

They have you make a deposit but dont open the account until the W9 is completed.

This company needs to be sanctioned and out of operation asap they dont deserve a star

Very poor experience. Opening a corporate account was disorganized from the start — I was repeatedly asked to submit “one more form,” with conflicting instructions each time.

Withdrawing funds has been even worse. Depositing $270K+ took one day, but getting it back is slow and restrictive — limited to $50K chunks with 3–5 business days per transfer, unless you pay a fee to receive it all at once.
This is a clear double standard. They accept large deposits instantly but make withdrawals unnecessarily difficult. It’s now been over three weeks, which is completely unacceptable.

I had a very frustrating experience using Questrade. What initially seems like a reliable platform quickly turned into a stressful situation when I encountered issues with accessing my funds and getting timely support. Communication was slow, and I felt my concerns were not being handled with the urgency they deserved. It left me feeling uncertain and honestly quite worried about my investment.

Thankfully, I got .....#coinrefunds#...... helped turned things around completely for me and I appreciate their efforts.

My withdrawals were banned with a notification indicating there's a 15 days waiting time to guarantee the wallet is trusted. When i attempted to reinvest in their plans, the system indicated that i had, which resulted in a negative balance on my account. They refused to let me cancel and place a new order when i inquired about the problem. I like investing in an automated manner. I can invest my money on #...centriplan...# without continually checking it. I've been able to make numerous withdrawals and it has worked for me multiple times.

Atrocious customer service, multi day delay to do something that sunlife does in 24 hours, arrogant staff.

I'm removing all my funds from them, well if their system would actually let me add a bank account. A complete clow show

I was about to open an account and the chatbot connected me to a live agent after 9 minutes which I thought was reasonable. The agent was useless and quite frankly rude. His/her name is Veerpal . I had read the customer reviews before contacting questrade and their low ratings are accurate . My first impression is poor and because of this I cannot trust this organization with my money either now or in the future .

thought the process of opening an account with Questrade would be an easy process....no such thing. Leaving the required information with a representative, I was sent an email requesting the same info the very next day. Upon phoning I was told that there was no record of that information attached to my file. I have not followed through as I am hesitant to submit information to a company that has problems storing and processing privileged information.

My RSP transfer is stuck in limbo and my deposits just get cancelled with no reason after sitting on pending for weeks. I've spent hours on hold only to talk to people who can't or won't actually help.
I am happy with my growth on #Goⅼd𝘣ⅼoom &Laboratories. They stick to their words and process payout promptly.

If you have always been experiencing losing of funds I would advise you all to try Token….. Blaze where you can get amazing profits and instant payouts.

I am trying to unlock a federal locked in RRSP to get my one time 50% withdrawal. It’s been going on for over a month, they have no clue what they are doing. Actually thinking of getting a lawyer

i bought shares from Questrade , it was pretty easy to buy but it has been very complicated to sell . i have contacted the customer support so many time about the issue but they have been deliberately unresponsive . But #Quick Help... has proven to be the best alternative, They assure good service without any issue .

This site is a trash, I have lost my hard earned money to them. They blocked me from withdrawing without reasons. It's a big shame on them. I just got to know they don't pay. Well, I have moved on with #Crop Mines....# to withdraw has been easy and timely.

Last week, for the very first time, I decided that I wanted to sell the shares I had bought through Questrade. After I had logged in, I was shown a page that was mainly white except for the Open an account button. I kept trying & chatted with their little chat button & could not get any help. I waited till Friday & tried again. I live in Pacific time. When I finally did get to chat with a human, the person said that it was too late to buy or sell & I would have to wait til next week. It's presently the next week and I chatted with a human who asked for my email address & name. Each time I asked a question, it took a minute or 2 to respond. He said nothing helpful. That's when I decided it may be a scam. So, I went to Trustpilot & it seems like my suspicions were confirmed.

I still can't get my withdrawal, it's been more than a week of endless back and forth. Avoid them at all cost.

As many others have described, I’ve been trying for over a week to withdraw money from my account (by transferring it to my bank account), and it’s not working. I haven’t been able to get support via chat or email, and I haven’t received any response to the complaint I submitted through their form. I haven’t tried the other paid options for transfers, but I get the impression that the company is trying to steer us toward those by making the free option unusable.
But after reading other comments, I’m starting to worry that these other options might not work either.

My had my broker contact Questrade on Feb 24 to move my trading account. It has now been 17 days and no progress. I waited 1 hr to speak with Questrade this morning only to find out the transfer was cancelled unbeknownst to me. The reason? Someone at Questrade inserted the wrong account number on the transfer! This was corrected and it will take another 1-2 weeks to complete the transfer! My money and stock positions have been frozen during this period. Questrade is a joke of a firm.

Can't get my payout withdrawal. I'm not kidding. It's been going on back and forth longer than a week. Stay away from Questrade!

If you can provide a recent bank statement to verify the account information (i.e. name match), or another formal copy of a Void cheque or Direct Deposit Form, that would be appreciated.

Delays with my RSP transfer, deposits that are cancelled without explanation (according to the Questrade website, they are pending approval for weeks), hour-long calls (most of the time on hold) with unhelpful representatives, and commitments that are never fulfilled. Avoid this company!

I started trading in 2020, and my first broker was Questrade. I personally was very happy with their platform. During that time, I contacted customer service 3 times, and they resolved my problem. The fees where risonable. Later, I moved my eccount to Welthsimple because they did not have any fees. In the future, I will again use Questrade as my broker.
