We were with Ray Whelan for over 2 years (maybe 3) and we've had 2 or 3 missed collection in Monasterevan, all in the last year. The different collection teams we dealt with were very nice and responsible, we actually liked Ray Whelan's service very much. There were never hidden extra charges and the app kept record of everything making it easier for us to manage it in comparison with our previous provider, BordNaMona now AES again. So we like Ray Whelan. When they finnally increased the monthly price we changed for MisterBinMan for that sole reason. The refund of our credit at the end of our contract was a bit cumbersome but Lisa finalised it successfully and we apreciate her professionalism throughout, very much. We would recommend them, as for us, what matters the most is how the mishaps are handled to success, and they definetly delivered on that.

I switched our rubbish pick up contract to Ray Whelan, having checked with them that they offered to pick up of organic waste in our neighbourhood. They sad they did.

We subsequently had 5 or 6 conversations about organic waste, They went from claiming it was a mistake to have delivered me a bin to confirming exactly what route I was on and confirming the pick up. They did actually pick it up once, but only once. My final conversation said they had, in fact, promised to pick it up by mistake and that they were not offering the service. The person did not apologise and was brusque.

Other staff were pleasant and helpful but it was unpredictable

The other pick ups were intermittent too.
