Renting bikes at the Cycle Hub gave us a really fun way to explore Dundee. Its location on the waterfront is really convenient and makes for a great starting point for a few hours of riding. The guys in the shop did an excellent job instructing us about the bikes and let us know about some good routes to check out. The bikes themselves were perfect for the job. We were all over Scotland for 3 weeks and Dundee was one of our favorite cities.

I turned up on a whim, hoping that Joss bay Kent surf school would be open. Yay! and they were, the guys were great and there was lockers to keep your valuables in. Only if the surf was better, however still managed to get some waves 🏄♂️🤙 If ever I am around Kent again I will definitely come back, Highly recommended.

I would have preferred if this tool did…
I would have preferred if this tool did not have to rely so much on going on my phone and being bothersome. If there was an option to use this rental service with a simple phone number and sms, (aka. using a dumb phone so that people do not use their smartphones, which are, in my opinion, one of the most addictive things in the world). This is really something to consider, because, the renticy app is used as a legal thing, not a convenient thing which is better than paying cash in hand or contactless, is it?

The bike I rented was brand new and an excellent design. There was a small problem, which was instantly put right when I returned the next day. When things go well, anyone can perform, but it’s how people deal with issues that sets them apart. The team or Torque bikes in Surbiton really treated me well and did everything perfectly.

Great cycle day
From start to finish the whole experience was seamless. We were a group of six and our bikes were ready and waiting for us. I would certainly recommend Lakeside cycle hire and booking with Renticy.

Really super bikes
Really super bikes! The guy working there is incredibly helpful. We hired an adult bike and one child's bike. The man working there didnt just help get us get up with our hired bikes, but he helped adjust the seat of a bike that was ours that he said looked like it needed the seat raising. Very kind. I also like that they provide a little trail map and a fantastic bike trail starts right nextdoor to the bike hire! We will definitely hire from here again.
