After reading reviews, I was torn whether or not to work with this online company with such a high dollar item but I am THRILLED that I did! The team actually custom made my ring thicker for me per my request to achieve the look I wanted and to accommodate the size diamond I wanted. The diamond is SO beautiful, the communication through the process was beyond what ifs warranted and I had LOTS OF QUESTIONS. If I could give them a higher score I would.
I recently ordered a custom pear-shaped diamond ring, and I couldn’t be happier with the entire experience! From the start, John was incredibly patient and helpful, guiding me through every detail of planning the perfect setting for my 7ct pear diamond. It took about a month to finalize everything, and I’ll admit I can be a little indecisive, but John and his team never rushed me they made the process easy and enjoyable.
When the ring arrived in less than two weeks! , I was absolutely blown away. It’s truly breathtaking beyond anything I could have imagined. The craftsmanship, attention to detail, and overall quality are unmatched. Not only that, but the prices are unbeatable compared to anywhere else I looked.
A huge thank you to John and the entire team for bringing my dream ring to life. I’m so grateful for your hard work and dedication. This ring is everything I wanted and more!
Follow up - After posting my review online, RockHer sent me a threatening email demanding that I remove my reviews from all websites or they would explore legal options against me. (They wrote this threat with an AI chatbot, which I found ironically hilarious; it was too much work to have a phone conversation with me or write their own threats.) They made numerous false claims towards me along. In the U.S., you have a right to share honest opinions and experiences. I have phone records and emails to back up my statements. If they used this tactic on me, how many others have they used it on? What happens if you have a negative experience and voice your concerns online? How many others with a negative experience here have been silenced?
If you have a negative experience with RockHer like I did, do not be silent and do not let them intimidate you. There are numerous consumer protection laws and case law that back up your rights in this area. If they continue to harass or threaten me, I will let everyone know. I will not be silent.
Given all of this, ask yourself: Is this a company you can trust with such a significant purchase? Is this someone you would want to do business with?
For those who are still interested in reading further, I will address each of their false points.
Communication & Business Model - I had spent over a month contacting your company via your chat service, via phone, and email. Never once did anyone offer to set up a time for a phone consultation, Zoom call, etc. I stated how important it was to have a phone conversation. When I would call in, I was told someone would call me back. When I communicated with your chat service, I said I needed to speak with someone on the phone. I was misled for over a month that I would be able to have a phone conversation. Even when I tried to escalate my concerns to management, I was met with a condescending email with no attempt to set up a phone consultation.
Multiple Contact Attempts - I had been in contact with your company since December, well before any fires were scorching across LA. I also have phone records showing that I contacted you during normal business hours. But whether I did or did not contact you during normal business hours is irrelevant. I spoke with customer service reps of yours. Multiple messages were left for you to call me back or set up a time for a phone call. Your excuse here holds no water.
Customization & Fees - I never said I was charged $200, and if you would’ve had a 3-minute phone call with me, you might have had an idea of what I was looking for instead of foisting a product on me that I had no interest in. And I like how you state that this was explained in “multiple emails” when after each email, I stated that I needed to speak with someone on the phone.
Multiple Reviews Under Different Names - All of my reviews are under my name.
Unanswered Concerns - The extent of the questions I have were never answered because I never got the chance to have them addressed over the phone.
If you don’t want to have a phone conversation with clients, then be forthright with it. Don’t lead customers on for over a month with false expectations of a phone conversation. And don’t threaten customers when they leave a negative review about their experience. You could easily have scheduled a call back time, Zoom call, consultation, anything, but you never did.
In the future, how about apologizing and moving on instead of threatening and harassing customers.
I am so happy with my experience with Rockher. I originally ordered a stone from a competitor and sent it back wanting a bigger stone thinking they would work with me to order another. Their communication was horrible and even though I was going to spend more money they never got back to me. (Friendly diamonds is NOT friendly) I had a whole different experience with Rockher. The communication from the beginning was superior to their competitors and my ring is absolutely amazing. When I received my ring it was slightly big and they immediately sent me a shipping label for resizing. I shipped it right back and they had it back to me in 3 days. I highly recommend Rockher for the best selection of quality diamonds, huge selection of settings, and prices that cannot be beat. They exceed all my expectations.
I loved my experience with Rockher. I had a 1:1 session with a gemologist/designer and got asscher cut earrings to match my engagement ring. I asked for E VVS2 quality and when they came I was beyond thrilled. I know my diamonds and not only did I get what I asked for- but at 1/2 the price I was quoted through other entities. Will definitely return!

I am compelled to share my recent, deeply frustrating experience with RockHer.com, and I hope my emotional account will serve as a warning to others considering doing business with this company.
I placed an order for a loose diamond through RockHer.com on 07/26/23, and little did I know it would become a harrowing ordeal. The entire nightmare began when FedEx inexplicably lost my package. Despite my hopes for a swift resolution, they took it upon themselves to sign for the package on my behalf. To say I was outraged would be an understatement.
Even more infuriating is that FedEx had the audacity to present me with a document supposedly bearing my signature, a signature I vehemently deny ever making. It felt like a betrayal of trust and a blatant disregard for the truth.
In an attempt to uncover the reality of the situation, I provided RockHer.com with my leasing manager's contact information, hoping that security footage would vindicate me and confirm that FedEx never delivered the package to my doorstep. My heart ached as I reached out for their help, only to be met with a cold and uncooperative response from RockHer.com.
The lack of empathy and understanding from RockHer.com has been nothing short of heart-wrenching. I had believed that as a customer, I deserved better treatment and assistance during this crisis. Yet, my pleas for help were met with apathy, leaving me feeling helpless and abandoned.
RockHer.com, I trusted you to deliver not only a precious gem but also a promise of customer care and integrity. My faith in your company has been shattered, and I can only hope that by sharing my emotional turmoil, others may think twice before placing their trust in you.
This experience has left me not only without the diamond I purchased but also without closure or justice. I urge RockHer.com to reconsider their stance, to show compassion, and to actively collaborate with me to resolve this traumatic situation.
Edit: I have again and again told you that to get security footage either you or FedEx needs to contact my apt manager which I provided you contact information. It’s seems like you like to work against your customer. Also you guys failed to mention here how you have threaten me over email about defamation when I am just posting a honest review which is my right as a consumer
Edit: I do not to know in what words to explain to you. That my apt manager can’t give the video to me. Either you or FedEx has to contact them directly to give the video of cctv. As it’s against the policy to handover video of cctv. And I have been constantly telling you this in all my past emails but either you chose to ignore this part or the one who reads the email don’t understand it and keep repeating. The same thing. I have also provided you the contact information of apartment manager to contact them. Since you do not want to issue me refund and resolve this case you chose to ignore it.

I have had nothing but good experiences with Rockher, In fact I've purchased not one but 4 diamonds from them, the smallest being 2.71carats and the latest a huge 6.25 carats. They sell the same diamonds as at least 3 other popular sites and always at a cheaper price, sometimes a few thousand dollars less. All you need to do is check the certificate #, not the stock #, to see that the diamond is the same. The diamonds are shipped quickly after they receive then from overseas , always FedEx with a signature required, are packed well in a beautiful presentation case and with all documentation including certificate and appraisal. Each diamond has been a wonder. Although I have not returned any items, I do appreciate their return policy.
I had a terrible experience with Rockher - they are the worst merchant I've ever worked with for any purchase, period.
Context: We purchased 2 oval diamonds from 2 different merchants before our engagement - one was relatively easy to work with, customer friendly - Rockher on the other hand - is currently refusing to return almost $6,000 of my money without any evidence, claiming I did not follow their return policy (because I used the same box they shipped it in, which I did with the other merchant as well, no problem - AND the Fedex packaging they use literally designate "reusable" on them!).
All this even though I followed every single instruction their "return department" gave me - which appears to be from a fake alias (they use a bunch - Caroline Rockher, Michael Rockher, etc - one email even was sent from one name (John) and signed with another person's name (Sean)) to liaise misleadingly with customers. Their "return department" had approved my return and instructed me in the email to 1. include all the documentation and 2. pack up prior to visiting Fedex. I packaged the diamond as instructed, and mailed it back to Rockher, where it was signed for and delivered successfully.
After receiving my return, Rockher claimed they received no diamond in the package and refused to provide the video they claimed to have of them opening it on camera, or any of the investigation they claim Fedex has completed. They happily rule in their own favor, and leave me, a paying customer with no diamond, no refund, and absolutely zero paper trail of any of the evidence of investigation they claim to have done. And on top of this - they blame me for following to a T the return instructions they gave me via email. I asked Rockher if they thought it was "realistic to expect that after interacting with your return department who purportedly provide return instructions, that your customers return to your site, search at the bottom in the footer for the link, and intuit solely from the singular word “new” - that they are prohibited from reusing the original box?" but "Sean" (or maybe it is really John? It was always unclear who I was really speaking to) issued me a non-response.
And actually, the "shipping & returns" policy that is linked in the footer doesn't even include their return policy much less the arbitrary fine print about using a "new" box that they used as justification to pocket almost $6,000 of my money. I let their the team at Rockher know they were in violation of California code (they even admitted they were unaware of these regulations) which requires them to clearly and prominently display their return policy, and they responded that they are denying me my refund anyway, but they would review the law and ensure compliance going forward - honestly a totally unconscionable, appalling lack of integrity here.
I'm now working with my credit card company and a consumer protection lawyer now to fight back against Rockher - would avoid this company at absolutely all costs. I am disgusted by them and I believe their entire operation should be shut down because of the incredible risk they pose to consumers everywhere.

Rockher is absolutely wonderful!! The communication during the entire process was excellent and my ring is beautiful. I received my order in a very timely manner as well. I highly recommend Rockher and will be purchasing many more pieces in the future.
We dealt with John at RockHer. From beginning to end, the experience was TOP NOTCH. We were nervous buying an expensive solitary natural diamond on-line, but are so glad we did. Yes it was cheaper than a jeweler by quite a bit, but buying on-line still made us nervous. We went with our instincts and also did our research-TONS of good reviews 4.9 or 5/5 on-line. That also convinced us to take the chance. THEY ARE COMPLETELY PROFESSIONAL and TRUSTWORTHY! I had the diamond sent to an individual or third party grading company after it arrived for insurance purposes and the diamond was valued quite a bit higher that what we paid!! Happy about that!!
VERY happy with the experience all the way around. John is the BEST. Communication throughout the process was superb. Ring and diamond arrived in a timely manner as we needed it to! Thanks for that!!
