Run4It offer good prices and had the trainers I wanted in my size and colour I liked at 2/3 the price of my local running shop.
I ordered them online and having read previous reviews knew I may have a bit of a wait for delivery.
After 4 business days my order hadn't progressed so I called and spoke to Donna. She investigated and emailed me later that day. The shop who had been assigned my order didn't have the shoe in stock and hadn't indicated this on the system, so my order was just left hanging. She found the stock, arranged for express delivery and said I would receive a refund of 10% of the order.
The shoes arrived promptly and are great. But no sign of the 10% refund.
Despite 2 follow-up emails I've had no response and no 10% refund.
Having to chase my order met my expectations based on other reviews (3*).
Resolving the issue so quickly and getting my shoes by express delivery exceeded my expectation (4*).
Being offered a 10% refund far exceeded my expectations (still 4*).
Not delivering on the unexpected 10% refund (2*).
EDIT: In response to this review I have now received a 15% refund and am pleased that this issue has been satisfactorily resolved.

Ordered 9th June on free standard delivery (2-4 days).
Now 13th June and still not been shipped.
Email sent for an update but as of yet no reply.
Was a birthday present for 16th which I thought I ordered in time, not holding out much hope..

I ordered online on the April 30th. It’s now been over a week, and the status of my order is still: Confirmed: We're preparing these items for shipping.
I called the customer support number several times with no answer, left a voicemail, no one has got back to me.
I sent an email and got a reply saying they’ve passed my message onto the online team. Most companies would have delivered an order by now, yet not only have I not recieved my order, I e had no order update, no communications, and unable to get any customer support. Absolutely ridiculous. Will never order from this website again.

Ordered shoes that weren't dispatched within the estimated time, tried calling to find out what was going on, it took several calls to the customer service line before anyone picked up. It turned out my shoes weren't even in stock to begin with, so their system shouldn't have validated the order in the first place. I asked for a refund and it still hasn't arrived after 10 days.
They did provide a 20% discount code for the inconvenience, but it only works for non-discounted items so the use cases were limited.
I appreciate IT issues happen now and again, but adding on the very unreliable customer service phone availability and refund delays, my confidence in run4it is not high at all.

Extremely disappointed that I'm leaving a 1 star review for a company I hold in such high regard. I purchased some shoes around 4 weeks ago and promptly returned them as they were a poor fit for me. I use their tracking with Royal Mail and unfortunately Royal Mail lost the parcel. After 3 weeks of posting the return I still have not got a refund as I was told I must wait for a claim to be completed through Royal Mail as I no longer have the paper receipt.
Despite consumer law clearly stating that digital evidence of tracking is more than sufficient as proof of postage and that I as the consumer do not need to wait for the Royal Mail claim to be completed as I have fulfilled my obligation to return the goods I have had nothing but pushback for a refund of £89.99.
Having previously worked of this company this has truly soured my opinion of them. For what should be a very simple process, it has been an uanessacry hassle to get this refund.

Really solid company, the delivery is super fast. This surprised me because I live on the South Coast of England and they are based in Scotland. The staff are easily reached and responded well to my email query, too. I have now used them multiple times, and their products are really nice.

Please save yourself the hassle they have taken my payment but have not delivered the goods I have emailed but got no response and have rang on four different occasions and still no response, even though they claim they will call back. Within the hour. Don’t buy from this terrible company.

I bought a Garmin watch from Run4It and had a great experience. They offered the best price I could find anywhere in the UK for a brand new watch.
The delivery was incredibly fast and they even upgraded the shipping at no extra cost, which was a really nice surprise. Excellent service from start to finish. I would definitely recommend Run4It and would happily buy from them again.

Just test runned my purchase for 6k and their great.
I have a number of serious foot issues, including one bad and one very extreme bunion, which makes shopping for shoes very fraught and uncertain, and there is very rarely much of a choice, as only 2 or 3 companies make shoes which are even remotely possible for me to wear. Today I bit the bullet and took half a day off my work to go into Run4It in Lothian Road. I was lucky enough to be seen by Dom, who was both knowledgeable about the features of the brands they stock, and also very understanding of the foot issues I'm dealing with. In addition, he was patient, encouraging, and kind. We tried 4 different brands in 2 or 3 different sizes each, and I ended up with Hokas, a brand which I had not liked some years ago, but which have gone through a number of design changes since then and ended up feeling supremely comfortable. They were also available in black, which was perfect for me; in the past, I have had to purchase several pairs of shoes which I thought were ugly, solely because they were the only shoes which fit me properly. Throughout this process, Dom was up and down ladders all over the shop, and he was almost as happy as I was when we finally found the right shoes. I had gone into the shop expecting to buy either Brooks or Altra - both of which have been comfortable in the past - and ended up with something entirely different which I'm really delighted with and I am planning to order a second pair next week. Dom's knowledge and attitude made all the difference to me.
The worst shopping experience. Purchased shoes that were faulty, took them back within 30 days and with receipt and the Inverness manager argued that the shoes were fine, so frustrating, he was obstructive and passive aggressive. Took photos of shoes sent them to head off and they acknowledged they were faulty. Complained about manager who had also contacted head office to say I was abusive. I was not abusive, this bloke started argument about shoes and he was wrong.
No apology, no proof of abuse and no acknowledgment that he got it wrong.
My parents, my daughter, my brother and sister in law have been shopping here for years. So sad to be treated like this by one member of staff. Never would I recommend anyone shops there again.
Ordered pair of Alphafly shoes Tuesday lunch time and arrived 48 hours later. Cheaper than anywhere else I could find them and free postage. Special mention for Donna at customer services who dealt with what turned to be my completely unnecessary concerns about my order very efficiently and with incredible patience.
I visited the store in Inverness yesterday. Staff were professionally friendly and customer focused. I was unhurried and not put under any pressure to buy. Gait analysis, etc was excellent and useful in making a purchase. Would use again, and recommend,
Ordered Asics NovaBlast 5 on Tuesday, despatched on Wednesday, received it in south west England on Friday by royal mail. Quick delivery and smooth experience, happy customer, would use again.
They charge you extra for what they like to call ‘express delivery’ 6 days later and still no sign of shoes and no refund offered. Very poor service i have bought ten pairs of running shoes from this company costing around £1500 and this will be the last, its embarassing charging so much for shoes and not offering next day delivery
