Shakib at the Blackburn branch was absolutely amazing!!! He went well above the call of duty. I was worried that my work would not look professional enough but he made sure it was. He really helped me with a job presentation and I cannot recommend him enough!

Mixed experience

We had a mixed experience at Rymans in Walthamstow. We ordered our table name signs for our wedding from Rymans at short notice (as another supplier let us down). They were made very speedily which was great, but my (now) husband went to pick them up, they had wrongly been printed single-sided when we had ordered them double-sided. The member of staff offered to reprint them right away which was good, however it was inconvenient that they hadn't been ready when we went to pick them up because Walthamstow is terrible for parking and I was driving round and round local streets trying to avoid the traffic wardens. It looks circa 10-15 mins for them to be reprinted. My husband brought them back to the car and we received a call from the member of staff in the shop saying that he had forgotten one (it had been left on the printer). I imagine this error was jointly the fault of both my husband and the shop assistant, and it was great that she called us before we had driven an hour and a half to the wedding venue and then been without one, but again was a pain to go back in to get the remaining sign as I had to once again play "avoid the traffic wardens" while driving in circles around local residential streets.

All in all, a lack of attention to detail with our order, but the shop staff were friendly and fixed issues when they realised the various errors.

Funeral order of service

Printing was excellent quality and took a weight off my mind because I was originally going to print it all myself, but decided not to as the chance of my printer misbehaving was high!

Shandwick Place

This afternoon at your Shandwick Place Branch, I had to look twice to see if it was a shop or a medical facility.
The young lad Robert behind the counter, I understand that he has a condition but does this need to be done in public, he was doing a fingertip blood test on the shop floor then it looked at though he proceeded to take his insulin, I would imagine there is a bathroom or somewhere a bit more private to do these things. I do have a needle phobia and even though I couldn’t see I knew what he was doing and felt physically unwell.
Claire behind the desk seen me and asked if I was okay 5⭐️ for being observant, I said I was okay but was glad to be out the shop once I had done what I had wanted done.
Please in future lad, be diligent of other people and do these things in private?

What a brilliant team!

What a brilliant team! I waited my turn for copying while Joe and his colleague patiently helped a young artist max the print quality and sizing of his originals. My copying job wasn't straightforward either, but they know their stock and their machines so well I couldn't have been more pleased with the result.
Absolutely amazed with the quality of the print for the price. And that you can get that level of quality on a walk-in basis and not have to order from a printers.
Also made several purchases in the shop. Excellent quality. Good prices.

Ryman Shredding service is fantastic

Used the Ryman Shredding service. Have to say fantastic:
1. You order bags (in our case five)
2. Delivers and you fill them up to 15kg
3. Ask to be collected
4. They give you some option which you choose
5. Day of collection, nice guy calls to say he will be with you in 10 or 30 minutes
6. He takes them away

RIP OFF

What a complete rip off, thought Ryman was supposed to be value for money but your better off buying your stationary
Elsewhere. I purchased 4 Invoice books made by Silvine I was charged £32 I have just purchased a pack of 12 books online for £22 so you tell me where is the better value

Items not delivered!!!

I have still not received the items I ordered on 19th March! I have emailed yourselves and Yodel who are supposed to be delivering but had no replies. I would still love the items for my daughter and her friends but if they are lis I expect a full refund

Fellowes shredder

The Fellowes shredder is just what I needed. The Ryman’s online ordering service was excellent, but there was an unexplained delay in delivering the shredder to my local shop from where I collected it.

V Poor customer service

I ordered some card and other Easter items from Ryman on the 12th March. I received an email from Yodel saying that my item was expected to be received from Ryman and a tracking number provided. A few days later this had not been updated, and no parcel received, so I contacted Ryman Customer Services who responded by saying they would raise it with Yodel. An email from Ryman confirmed a 24 -48 hour wait time. Four days passed and no response from Ryman or Yodel. I contacted Ryman again stating clearly I wanted the order and got a "cut and paste" response saying the items were no longer in stock, and issued me with a refund. Had Ryman bothered to find out what happened to my original order, they probably would have been able to send me my items. Instead they clearly ignored my query and their unnecessary delay massively disappointed me as a customer. To date no refund either! Totally Rubbish.

Ryman Stationery Walthamstow customer complaint

As a longtime customer shopping at the RYMAN STATIONERY WALTHAMSTOW BRANCH, I raised a concern about my bad experience with a member of staff working there and I am glad to report that the management has taken my matter of concern as a matter of urgency and contacted me. It's being followed through. I was a customer who felt disregarded and treated like trash. I wasn't in the shop for no reason and was being helped with my matter of the printer in cartridge until the other member of staff rudely interfered with a souvenistic attitude like he had something against me, shouting at me as if I was at fault. The staff member dealing with my matter simply walk away which is clear evidence of his bullying mentality and reign of fear in the shop.
I have made my point clear, that member of staff has got to be sacked as he can't work in the shop with his toxic behaviour that many customers know about but have ignored.
The resolution is that RYMAN STATIONERY WALTHAMSTOW BRANCH is duty bound to employ professional staff to serve the public.

I am highly disappointed with the…

I am highly disappointed with the service I have received in the stores on both orders I have had with Ryman. With my most recent order at the Kingston store, the person at the print shop didn’t really want to complete the work I needed. For instance, my order involved printing my conference agenda double-sided on two A3 sheets of paper and stapling them to complete a booklet. The staff didn’t want to do the work and suggested I do the stapling. Well, he clearly didn’t know how to fulfil my instruction, as he and the store manager (I think) demonstrated the difficulty of using a hand stapler to bind the papers at the ends instead of the centre. Since I didn’t have time to go back and forth, I bought a Long Arm Stapler from the store and completed the booklet assembly at home in less than 30 minutes. The store team didn’t even know they had the equipment in-store to fulfil my instructions.

After the long-arm stapler and staples, the print shop tried to embarrass me in front of the other customers by telling me what to do next time. This patronising was unwanted and unwelcome. I have over a decade of print industry experience and a qualification in digital communication, so I know he wasn’t an expert, since he didn’t want to do the work to complete my booklet, nor did he know the long-arm stapler was on the store shelves.
