Garmin never in my life after two uses the battery lasts 6 minutes they do not accept returns and they make the excuse that after the tests everything is fine and it is not never again garmin everyone knows they have a problem with garmin x t1 xt2 batteries

Great service. I had some concerns having read some poor reviews after I had sent my Garmin for repair. My experience was nothing but positive. I was kept informed each step of the way. Received my Garmin back working as good as new. Overall very happy.
Long delay in the repair process
I sent my device to this company in early August 25 and had it returned today (21/10/25) after much complaining and threats. My device is a Tomtom camper satnav and the battery needed replacing. I had lots of excuses and the whole experience was quite stressful.
I have updated the satnav and all seems to work well but haven’t tried it out in the camper yet. I will edit this post if there are any problems. So pleased to have it back.

Ignoring messages, and lost my device?
This company has had my device for 5 weeks now and I believe they have either either lost my device, or they have poor admin and don’t know which device is mine.
Either way they aren’t taking responsibility. They are ignoring my messages, where I have asked them to return my device regardless of whether they have completed the battery replacement (that’s all that they were supposed to be doing). If they have lost my device, I very much doubt they will reimburse me.
I STRONGLY recommend that everyone avoids this company.

Great service, my Tomtom Pro Truck was returned in about 10 days fitted with new battery. For good measure the old one was included in the pack! Could not contact by phone but several update emails were received along the way. Can highly recommend

Sent my Garmin Approach S10 for a battery replacement.
Fromt the start I was informed of every step in the process as it happened, this continued right up to it being delivered back to me on time and duly repaired.
I emailed them to ask for an update and the reply was almost instant.
An absolute pleasure to do business with. I wont be going anywhere else for any future requirements, outstanding!

Item never returned!
Sent my Garmin Edge 820 back in April for a battery replacement. Told it also needed a touch screen connector repair, where I had tried to replace the battery myself. After this contact ceased and I have not been sent my item back! I have tried several times to make contact and all is ignored. Avoid at all costs!
Never got my Garmin back
Posted my Garmin Edge 1000 on 23 June and chased 4 July, at which time I was told it was ready, and paid for a battery replacement. Now 2 1/2 months later and nothing received. Communication has been sporadic, despite chasing several times. They have my Garmin and my money - I have nothing. Be very careful with this outfit.

Unfounded concerns, excellent service on time.
Having read at least one of the reviews (after posting my broken sat nav to Satnavspecialist) followed by 2 days later my credit card being cloned somehow, I was very concerned that I would never see my sat nav again. In fact, I should not have been concerned at all as they kept me informed of the receipt of, successful repair and return on the sat nav which works perfectly. I cannot speak to anyone else’s experience by as far as I am concerned they did exactly what was promised and returned the device ahead of their 'SLA'. As far as I can tell the cloning of my card was just an unfortunate coincidence, so they are deserving of this 5 star review.
Excellent service
Somehow managed to break the screen on my TomTom GO 510. I'd seen a couple of bad reviews about this company but there didn't seem many other options and trying a repair was much cheaper than a new sat nav. I shouldn't have been worried. Got the sat nav back in under a week, now working again. Excellent communication as to the status of the repair. Would happily use again.
Good as New Start 25
I managed to crack the screen of my Start 25 TomTom and was a bit despairing of getting it fixed for a reasonable price and in a reasonable timeframe until an internet search brought-up this company.
I sent the unit off via 1st class signed for on a Friday and received it back a week Tuesday via the same postal service, with an email notification from the company that it had been despatched.
It looks good as new, and works perfectly. (Actually, better than before. I realise now that the screen was becoming less responsive before I cracked it.)
I cannot fault the service I have received, and am very grateful this company exists, providing this service at such a reasonable cost.

i received a quote for my tomtom rider 400 to have that awful battery replaced that tomtom designed to fail in just 2 years
tomtom wanted to send it to lithuania and charge me £80 .. robbers!!
satnav specialists quoted £19.99 and i chose to spend £7.50 special delivery each way ... they communicate brilliantly and inside the week my rider works perfectly
i wouldnt use anyone else now

Fast, easy and good value
Sent my TomTom off Saturday, and got it back Wednesday working perfectly with a new mini-USB socket. I can solder, but I don't trust myself to desolder, so I'm happy to pay the reasonable amount for a specialist to do their stuff. Recommended.
