I was really insecure because of the bad reviews so i let it check from a jeweler/goldsmith. He said it's not high class jewelry but the material is real and it's worth the price (rod of asklepios in gold, black friday sale for 140€). Let's see how long it lasts.
Delivery was without any problems, i received it 3 days after i ordered, no taxes or anything (Germany).

Do not order from Science Jewelry 18:24 if you’re in the U.S. unless you’re ready to pay unexpected import tariffs after checkout. There was no clear warning before I paid — just a small note buried in the confirmation email that it ships from Belgium. Nothing mentioned about extra customs fees or potential duties.

When I contacted the company, their response was extremely disappointing. Instead of addressing my concerns, they replied with bullet points explaining how it was all my fault for “missing” information in their FAQ. It honestly felt like they were arguing with me rather than trying to solve the problem.

They also said if I refused the parcel, they would deduct re-import fees from my refund — so either way, the customer loses money.

If you’re in the U.S., be warned: the price you see isn’t the real price, and the customer service won’t take responsibility. Beautiful jewelry design, but misleading checkout and poor communication. I will never buy from them again.

I bought a sterling silver ring in January of 2025. By July, it had snapped in half. Very poor quality. Sterling silver shouldn't just break like that. The customer service response was quite curt and dismissive. Would NOT recommend.

A couple of pieces from this company. Unfortunately, I haven’t been impressed with the quality. I had a stethoscope and it snapped with less than a years’s ownership. They are interesting and receive a lot of comments but I wouldn’t buy another for this reason.

I’m surprised at the reviews on this page, I’ve been wearing my silver serotonin necklace everyday for over 4 years and it has stayed beautiful as ever. The quality is impeccable and I’ve received so many compliments about how cute and unique it is. I’ve loved my necklace since day one. The owners are also lovely individuals who respond quick and are extremely helpful. 10/10 recommend!

This company is a joke!!!!!
Purchased a necklace £150 when I placed the order it is clearly stating FREE delivery nothing is mentioned regards tax and duties!!
Receive a text this morning saying I can’t receive my purchase until I pay a further £41!!!!
Spoke to DHL they says anything over £135 you have to pay taxes and to contact company which I did!
Response from Science Jewlry said it states in FAQS about this!!! I mean who reads that page when purchasing a necklace for postage?! I look at the delivery section in which I am paying for delivery!!!
I then received an email promoting the business clearly stating enjoy FREE postage with DHL express!!!!!!
What the hell!!! Total scam of a company!!! Never again will I use them and my advice to anyone out there is steer clear!!!!

I bought a "silver ring" from them. The product quality was awful for such an enormous price. It was priced like a silver ring, but the coating got covered in scratches immediately after the first washing of dishes (and there were other actual silver rings on those hands at the time, those were fine). Of course, the return policy is typical of any dropshipping scam such that the product must be in perfect condition with all of its original packaging intact. I did ship it back anyway, if only to get it out of sight, and of course the return was denied. Should've checked Trustpilot before ordering.

They hide in their FAQ's that they are going to hit you with huge import fees, then blame you for not looking at the FAQ's
They localise the website to make it look like a store front in your country when in fact it is in Belgium.
Avoid at all costs

I have purchased from them multiple times and are always impressed with the quality of the products and the kind customer service.
I purchased a ring that wasn't the right size, and there were no issues with sending it back and getting a new one in the right size.
They are very upfront with potential delays and waiting times.

I wanted to thank you for your quick and good customer service: I was so happy I could get a bigger lenghts for my necklaces (heart - 18K gold plated × 1 and rod of Asclepius × 1) very easy. I was writing in the comments that I would like to have the necklaces in a length between 60-70 cm and they gave me 65cm (instead of 42cm) without any extra costs. I emailed to your service and got an answer very quickly. I am absolutly amazed how good your customer service is. Thank you so much. This is without a doubt one of my best experiences with an online shop.

This is yet another dropshipping scam, their silver products are steel with some coating that gets off after a few weeks, confirmed by a jeweler. If you want scientific jewelery just find the same products for a few dollars from original sites. If you look at the few positive reviews here, most of them are clearly bots/paid for.

I ordered a sterling silver spine necklace. During the first weeks it was already getting dirty. I washed it following the advice given by email, but it never got better. However, it is guaranteed at the time of purchase that it will not lose its shine! I decided to have it washed at a jeweler's and I was very surprised to see the lady come back with my necklace all black and broken since it was not sterling silver as mentioned at the time of purchase (the process of washing a silver necklace reveals when it is a different material since it breaks it). She confirmed with her expert opinion that this item was not worth more than 20$ and that it should be steel because of the colors it had taken. This explains a lot of the complaints on this site about the fact that it brokes easily.

They mention that the necklace has durable sterling silver pendant (92.5% silver) that will last a lifetime and that the cleaning cloth included, just to make sure the necklace never loses its shine, but this is false! It's fraud!

Product matched expectations exactly and is exactly what we were looking for. We emailed prior to ordering about delivery from EU to UK and received a prompt and helpful reply. Having bought the item, the delivery went exactly as promised. For anyone else in UK, current rules on jewellery are, if it's <£135 including P&P then there is no extra duty payable and this was exactly what happened for us.

I ordered a silver necklace and it arrived much quicker than I expected. I read reviews ahead of time so I was expecting to pay duties/taxes to bring it into Canada. The duty ended up being around $30 so not bad. The necklace is exactly as I expected it to be.

Wanted to clear up something for Scientific jewelry. I purchased a 14k gold ring from scientific jewelry for quite a bit of money. After reading the reviews on trust pilot which were mostly negative and made me anxious that I have been scammed. I even spoke to the credit card to cancel the order who told me I could not until I received the ring. I wrote to scientific jewelry and asked when are they sending the ring etc.. and to my surprise they replied and explained that they had to make the ring to my requested size which will take 3 to 4 weeks. I still thought it was a scam but lo and behold it arrived. Yes there is an import tax from your country and I would find out before ordering as that can vary. I paid just under 10% of the value of the ring. Once received, the ring was beautiful and well made. I still did not trust it being 14k gold so I had to take it to a jeweller who essentially informed me that it was gold on the outside and that to verify that it was solid gold they would have to scratch it on the inside of the band. Which they did and informed me that it is in fact 14k solid gold. So all in all a happy ending for all, but I was put through a bit of anxiety from the erroneous reviews from this website. My negative experience from trusting trust pilot is the reason why I have decided to post this review so as to be fair to the company.

Unfortunately my gold plated necklace lost some of its plating after 3 months or so and they told me it's normal for gold plating to get damaged by perfume and lotion, but no advice on it when sending the product.
Not sure why one should bother buying an expensive item if it's so easily damaged.

I agree that their marketing is better than their products.

Avoid at all cost hidden fees + scammy products.

This website hides the provenance of their items.
I had to pay 106CHF (for a 160CHF purchase... more than 60% of the price!) in customs fees because the made it seem this was a local website. Absolutely avoid unless you live in Belgium, as most countries charge hefty fees for importing jewelry.

These items are also most likely just "drop shipped" from China, as I could find many of them on AliExpress, re-marketed and sold at an exorbitant price.
This is not the handmade jewlery the nice marketing lets you believe it is.

Extremely cheap AliExpress jewellery sold with an over 12,000% markup. Just search AliExpress for any of their items (simply use generic terms such as "caffeine necklace" or "dopamine ring") to see what I mean.

Absolutely despicable "business", and their claims that anything they sell is "produced in small batches" or "made in Belgium" are demonstrably untrue.

Do not, under any circumstances, spend €125 (or more!) on a €1 piece of mass-produced Chinese crap. Complete con artists, who should be truly ashamed of themselves.
