This is a nightmare experience "school." Office woman is hostile, yelled at us. Possible scam website with typos for email addresses. They continue to harass for payments when we aren't even a student with them. Despite defending ourselves they junk mail and invoice not even legitimate nor resolvable. One will probably have to get legal counsel if considering dealing with them, at all. Report this to the appropriate agency, ultimately. Their tactic is to get money from someone; don't let them break you where manipulation pays off. They tried to start that odd process that via phone, when we asked a couple very simple, polite questions, and they wreaked any possible true student/school relationship. STOP the barrage NOW. In receiving their mailings don't take the bait, you've already said everything. Especially in studying certain programs is this really a caring, reputable 'school'? Not at all. So many their commercial postcards and ads in magazines are a waste, and misleading. Seekers or true students, do not sign any "contracts." Stratford Carrer Institute has proven themselves to be not only unprofessional but risky to deal with. They will not send any subsequent study materials, books nor exams just aggressive, threatening mailings. They've picked a fight which we will no longer attempt to defend ourselves over. They can and will be reported, if not already by another, who we certainly would believe and hope they too can resolve. Stratford has ruined our faith in them to be a respected program that might care about the field and sectors chosen. Horrible company!

I took 1 exam, and I looked into the site more and found out they AREN'T applicable when it comes to their Vet assistant course. Now they want me to pay a $140.86 cancellation fee, even when i had requested it the first day in enrolled. Its complete BS that they charge that much to cancle. This website is a complete scam. Do not trust it.

I Took the police security science course and received my certificate in 2001. I work mostly contract security, and worked for Guardsmark at the time, my supervisors were impressed with the course, I showed them the syllables, the course books transcripts. For entry level or low end Jobs Stratford Institute is fine no more no less.

Site specifically lists that even if you choose mailed out materials instead of online, the first module would be available online. It is not. When contacted their difficult to understand phone center operator was extremely rude, and their supervisor follow ups were just as bad. They imply you can start your course immediately and are very deceptive about it. Pursuing a refund now.

I took my high-school diploma @stratford and I got all the supplies on-time, not problem at all and also I finished thanks to god I’m so happy I passed.
Very grateful for that.

Do not use this scam. If they get your information. You will be charged even though you don’t receive anything. Also, they will try to force you to collect for unrendered services. This is wrong not to receive and be charged. I have even contacted them to send me whatever I’m suppose to get. Then, I would be more than happy to pay. But, I don’t care who you are. I’m not paying something for nothing. I work too hard to be railroaded.

Lies, lies, lies. I followed everything they said and waited and waited and waited to be able to start my course. Never received any materials and then they told me it would cost $130 to cancel my enrollment. So they made $150 off of me and I received nothing from them. If you email them they keep saying : "oh, it mailed on this day". Give me a break, it doesn't take three weeks to get something in the mail.

Was taking online course first 2 modules went to my po box like suppose to 3rd one I never received when I called lady said it went 2 my physical address so with me driving a truck only home every 3 months
I never got it. Called about resending it lady said I have to pay 100 and some dollars to to resend. Asked why I have to pay that if they sent it to wrong address lady got very rude with me pretty much said I was stupid cause I put 2 address and I did like im suppose to physical address then where it says address 2 you put your po box or apt unit number but after being told I'm stupid there where words after that not very nice words I may add cause after the 2nd time she said it I just went off. Told her to just cancel it and called bank put stop payment on it. These people are so rude I will never take any courses they offer every again

Stratford career institute is not an accredited, legit legal institution it's nothing more than fraud with
individuals that are crooked and trying to make money off of naive students such as myself the school is a complete joke this is why the phony school has so many negative reviews

Absolutely terrible place and they should not be allowed to even exist. They charged me a collection bill that I have already paid off and now my credit is down 60+ points for something I have already payed off. And it was over a year ago I did that. They sent it in July I guess. Opened an account in my name and everything. If there is a lawyer that would like to help me I will pay you what I can to help me in this case.

Over 3 months after enrolling into small engine repair i still have not received any of my books for schooling. Basically a scam at this point.

I have taken SEVERAL Stratford courses over the years, and have been especially pleased with all but one. A couple were so intense (I already have a Bachelor's Degree) that I couldn't keep up with the material, and had to withdraw and take a refund. As with anything else, I would say : YOUR EXPERIENCE IS WHAT YOU MAKE OF IT !!!!! No place does Stratford SAY that they give you the end-all-and-be-all of YOUR educational journey, IN FACT in many places in their advertisements they CLEARLY SAY that the student MAY need to further QUALIFY in their chosen profession, either through further study OUTSIDE STRATFORD, on a STATE LEVEL with certification exams and further TRAINING or BOTH. (MEANING = that your STRATFORD EXPERIENCE may be a tool to simply get your foot in the door career wise, to "beef-up" your resume' , or something similar. I think some of these really bad reviews are from very young people who expected Stratford to give them the sun, the moon, and the stars so to speak, OR that they come from Stratford students who REALLY did NOT do very well in their choses programs. (Which, I think that the material, from everything I've seen, is quite CHALLENGING . And I already have a Bachelor's degree from a college I matriculated to out of high school, doing a traditional college on-campus experience. )

I received my High School Diploma in 2009. Just found out today July 16 2025 that it is not real. I even have emails where they tell me it's a real accredited diploma. Don't waste your time.

They are cooperative

The trainers are very energetic. Trained professionally. They are very cooperative and guided nicely everything.

This company advertises that they are a USA company, but when I called about the Tools they promised upon my graduation, they said they were in Canada and the tools were backorder and there were border issues with shipping to and from Canada. BULL SH*T. They just straight up lied. This company should not be allowed to do business in USA. Read the rest of these reviews. They are a bunch of Cheaters and Liars. DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH Stratford Career Institute. Don't waste your money. I paid in full on the first day. They got my money, but I didn't get what they promised. They don't return calls. They only tell lies.

It’s a terrible school. Waste of money. They aren’t even accredited in Ontario so it’s pointless. No employer would allow this kind of certification.

This place is a complete joke. They lie about their admission process and withdrawing. Lied about answering and returning calls as if calls are not recorded today in your call log when you contact them.
Don’t trust the layout that drawer is in. Thankfully we read more before wasting anymore money.. Now trying scam for cancellation that they refused answer the phone to cancel.
