In January 2025, my friend and I had the incredible opportunity to summit Mount Kilimanjaro via the Machame Route in seven days, and we couldn’t have asked for a better experience! From start to finish, Serac Adventure provided top-notch service, making our journey both smooth and unforgettable.

Our guide was extremely knowledgeable, ensuring we were well-prepared for every stage of the trek. His encouragement and expertise played a huge role in helping us reach Uhuru Peak with confidence. The porters were absolute heroes—carrying our gear, setting up camp, and always greeting us with warm smiles despite the challenging terrain. The food was also amazing, keeping us energized throughout the climb.

Summit night was tough but unforgettable, and reaching Roof of Africa at sunrise was fantastic. Serac Adventure’s attention to safety and exceptional service made this journey truly special. Highly recommend them for anyone planning to #1climbing mount Kilimanjaro!

I recently had the incredible opportunity to climb Mount Kilimanjaro via the 8-day Lemosho Route with Serac Adventure, and it was nothing short of life-changing. From the moment we arrived to the final step at Uhuru Peak, every detail was carefully planned, ensuring a safe and memorable experience.

Pre-Trek Organization:
The communication before the climb was excellent. Serac Adventure provided a detailed itinerary, packing list, and helpful tips, which gave us confidence before starting the journey. Their professionalism stood out from the start, and they answered all our questions promptly.

The Guides and Team:
The guides Nickson were exceptional—knowledgeable, experienced, and endlessly supportive. They monitored our health closely, especially during the acclimatization process, and made us feel at ease with their cheerful spirits. The porters and chefs were equally incredible, carrying heavy loads with a smile and preparing delicious meals that kept us energized throughout the trek.

The Route:
The Lemosho Route was breathtaking. Starting in lush rainforests and gradually transitioning to moorlands, alpine deserts, and glaciers, the scenery was ever-changing and stunning. The 8-day itinerary provided plenty of time for acclimatization, which was crucial for successfully reaching the summit.

Summit Night:
The final push to Uhuru Peak was challenging but unforgettable. The guides’ encouragement and expertise were invaluable as we made our way under the starry sky. Reaching the summit at sunrise was an emotional and triumphant moment I will never forget.

An Extraordinary Kilimanjaro Experience with Serac Adventure

Climbing Mount Kilimanjaro with Serac Adventure was nothing short of exceptional. From the moment we booked our trek, the professionalism and attention to detail were evident. The team ensured every aspect of the trip was seamless, from pre-climb preparation to our final descent.

The trek itself was a journey through some of the most breathtaking landscapes imaginable. Each day offered a new adventure, from the lush rainforests of the lower slopes to the stark beauty of the alpine desert and the snow-covered summit. The variety of terrain and the ever-changing views made every step a delight.

The 7-day Lemosho route exceeded all expectations thanks to Serac adventure team . The longer approach allowed us to really appreciate the mountain Kilimanjaro diversity. The guides were knowledgeable about flora, fauna, and mountain safety. Summit night was challenging but manageable thanks to excellent preparation of how to climb Kilimanjaro done by our team and our Guide Nickson.Would absolutely recommend this route and the company.

We were group of four ladies of age 20-26 and we are thankful of reach the uhuru peak on 1st january on 2020 at 7;43am. Our guides help us to manage the altitude sickness through relied on 3 litres of water everyday and the cooker prepared the awesome meals and delicious, we where on lemosho route. This was a great trip to say, i would highly recommend Serac adventures for future climbers to planning is trip they provided great services to all of my friends

We get enough life experience,from the professional and knowledgeable guides,to the inspirational and energetic crew we were set up for success to summit mount kilimanjaro.We would highly recommend this local company for anyone looking to climb,with special recognition to our lead guides,Mashama we choose 7-days lemosho route and the facilities,campsites were top notch,the food was plentiful and good tests and the encouragement was unwavering throughout the week.
An extra special treat was the singing,dancing and cheering by crew throughout various stages of the climb.
YOU CANNOT GO WRONG CLIMBING WITH SERAC ADVENTURE

Mostly was a great experience, As a group of six, we did the kili hike 7 days Lemosho route and four days of safari. Although we did the booking in a very short notice everything was great and well organized.we really appreciate.
The porters, guides and cook were great.Our belongings were well taken care of, the food was varied and good (hot meals three times a day) so no complaints there. The equipment was very nice to handle our hiking and worked well enough., When one member of my group felt like quitting there was emergency oxygen and oximetry which help him to finalize his trip however he was very tired but fortunately we all got to the top of Africa Uhuru peak.The Serac Adventure, provided our group with a phenomenal trip.
During our four-days safari, we had the good fortune to stay in a variety of accommodations. At the simba camp we were delighted to find a large tent set on a raised platform. Each tent included a sitting room, large sleeping area, large bathroom, and a porch with a table and chairs, all in the middle of the Tanzanian plains. The Ngorongoro Wild camp tents were similarly situated, but with the added benefit of the porch overlooking Lake Eyasi. But our adventure would not have been complete without a stay at the Serengeti simba camp where the rustic tents and animal noises at night brought us even closer to the natural environment we saw every day on safari. At every stopping point we were warmly welcomed by Serac Adventure who ensured our needs were met. That same Serac Adventure hospitality was seen with our drivers/guides. They provided background information on all the animals and environment, tirelessly drove in search of the best animal viewing, and best of all, patiently answered questions. They were a large part of what made our trip such a success. We highly recommend Serac Adventure to everyone

Truly fantastic experience,it's one week of lifetime remain forever.We climb kilimanjaro with nice view and little challenging,beyond this what makes it even more professional guides and porters that go up the mountain our trip was made as comfortable as can be and was very well organised by serac adventure,a company based in kilimanjaro they were professional and team work and I would recommend them for a trip up Kilimanjaro.

We are so glad we booked with Serac Adventure.We are absolutely enjoyed 99.9% we made friends for life and priceless memories,everyone was so helpful,caring and kind.It really does feel like same family.

I highly recommend to book with `Serac Adventure'

We went for the 7-day Machame tour, summit Kilimanjaro on December 2018. I didnt know any operators so I chose the first well-rated Budget operator I could find on TripAdvisor, which was Serac Adventure. If I decided to summit again I would definetly choose them again. Our group of 9 was well taken care of at any time. We were provided with very good (and plenty!) of food, we had daily health checks to make sure we dont put ourselves in danger and we all made it to the top. Our guide Dickson was simply amazing. I have had plenty of guides on different treks, they all didn't compare to Dickson. He was both caring and fun at any time and was part of the reason we all made it.
The summit day/night is really tough so I would recommend doing 7 instead of 6 days.
Kilimanjaro is a beautiful mountain. I was enjoyed in the scenery of the machame route for 7 days, as we were walking through clouds a lot, but the final days on higher altitude and the sunrise at the top totally made up for that,

If you plan a safari in Tanzania, don't miss the Ngorongoro! The area of Ngorongoro is small if you compare it to Serengeti, but the wildlife is very rich. During a couple of hours you can see hundreds of gnus, buffalos, zebras and gazellas and its predators, like lions, leopards and hienas in their nature lifestyle. The natural pools are good place for the hippos, in the forest part there are elephants, and if you are really lucky, you can meet rhinos too... (We were!)

We used this company Serac Adventure for both climbing Kilimanjaro & safari in Tanzania - and they were absolutely fantastic. Nickson- the owner - personally picked us up and was there to meet and greet us at each key time. They took extreme care to ensure our comfort and safety and the kilimanjaro wonders hotel is a super location. The guides they used for both the climb and Safari were outstanding. They were also competitively priced and gave me ONLY honest accurate answers.
I would recommend travellers consider using Serac Adventure.

We went for seven days machame route with serac adventure and it was life experiences,our guides Johson was an amazing mountain guide together with crews.We couldn't have summit the mountain without this amazing crews,also all the other people in the team our assistance guide,cook,waiter and porters,everyone is just impressively friendly and nice,we were happy to have achieved this once in a lifetime experienced with such a nice crews.
We are in 15 group and we summit all and for the mountain it self it most beautiful on the way and in the night.
For everyone who want to climb mount Kilimanjaro please i recommend to use Serac Adventure
