this was not a straight forward job due to a previous owners attempt to repair this they swapped out the transmission so the chassis no could not be used as a reference point the local vauxhall dealership washed their hands of the car lucky for me i found s4s they were confident they could do the job and they have works a treat thanks to peter razario ond the team i am a happy man again first class service well that is if it keeps working

Ollie and others all supplied a fantastic service when attending to supply and fitting of a failed CVT gearbox ,keeping me updated during the process was also confidence boosting.

I booked my car in my BMW 750 for an investigative work due to transmission issues. I believe the Company correctly diagnosed the issue (mechatronic unit needing replacing) and replaced the unit and carried out repair works. The car also came back washed, which is a good service to offer and it was picked up and delivered (albeit a little late on both occasions). So far the car is running perfectly, which is a huge weight lifted off my shoulders after other garages had attempted to rectify the problem, without success. The company even agreed to lower the price for the works as a good will gesture.

I give 4 stars because it was still pricier than another quote I received and for matters out of their control they cannot take credit card payments over £500 (iirc). Overall though, I would recommend, as I had already spent circa £2,000 with other garages who were unable to repair the issue. It's a shame I hadn't gone to them first.

I had my car in for a Gearbox repair with Service 4 Service. I can’t thank them enough for the work, my cars come back to me feeling brand new. Amazing staff and a smooth process.

I do not recomand this company! They offer free recovery, which in my case was just transport to garage but will over charge you! My car was functional, it was just making a strange sound at departure. For that I paid almost 4000 £. They sent my car to another service garage (A1 Priemier Transmission) to repair it. Maybe this is why they offer ,,free recovery"! If you have a complain they are going to blame each other.
Thank you for replying! If the RAC warranty is happy with the evidence which you sent them, I'm not happy. You sent me only now the evidence ( four pictures) with a gearbox no one with the clutch). I have not received a copy of car parts order for my Peugeot. The gearbox has two cases, can you explain me please, why only one looks like new!!! I have serious doubts my gearbox was replaced with a refurbish one. My car has low mileage. My car functioned perfectly and before this service, just some time making a sound at departure over one year, and I want to check what is that sound because I am travelling abroad, my lower limbs are paralysed and I don't want to have surprises on that trip, but instead I have got a big surprise with this company. Service4Service think is a good opportunity to earn some extra money if the RAC warranty paid 2000! After four weeks they sent me back the car with oil leaking from gearbox. I went back to A 1 Priemer Transmission garage, and now they want to delete my review to receive compensation for that trip. I have travelled 70 miles to garage and 70 miles back home, I spent a half day. A 1 Premier Transmission is a different company is not you garage like you said. Shame on you Service4Service!

I used Service4Service when the DSG gearbox on my automatic VW Tiguan (2017) failed and was stuck in 1st gear.

I received a friendly, first class and professional service from initial contact with Sophie Astbury, then call back and initial diagnose from Ollie Stevenson, followed by confirmed diagnose and quote from Jon Wood.

My car was collected and returned for free, assuming because I continued to get the works fixed with Service4Service. I was given a complete and detailed breakdown of the costs of the gearbox rebuild and I was kept up-to-date on the progress of my car, reassured that the car would run as new and would have a 12 month warranty.

The car has been returned and is running smoothly.
If you have gearbox issues I highly recommend Service4Service.

Exceptional customer service and experience from the time I contacted them all throughout when my car was delivered. They were swift with updates with the progress of repairs and timelines. While I was away in Europe after taking delivery of my car, the consistently called for feedback on repairs, which for me it’s absolutely amazing.
