Guy sent different part than listed and claims it's comparable so it's fine. Was advertised as one part number and sold a different one. Guy refused return unless I disassembled my motor and took a picture of the part next to my part. Didn't ask for anything other than return request and immediately was against it. Ridiculous.

I don't think the sites a scam but I wouldnt use them again. Also part came out of California not Illinois. Possible salt water use. Unprofessional and false advertising.

I ordered a part that was on the website, they shipped the wrong part to me. When i contacted them all they could come up with was a VERY long list of excuses as well as all the overhead they have! This is very poor company that is horribly managed. They did issue refund when requested so that was good.. Save yourself the grief and find the part elsewhere .

They shipped a part that was different in their photos, and they said the photos were just representative and not the actual part. They also told me that the part was servicable, but the mating surface was so corroded that it would not seal with a gasket. Major hassle dealing with them.

I’ve been a recent overseas customer of ShipWreck Salvage. Ordering from Asia, all communications were through emails stretching the time for order completion. It seems to be a family business with limited resources to cope with urgent orders. However, it is fair and honest including quick refund process. The owner helped me to solve custom clearance troubles abroad which is rather unusual for online shopping websites when the deal is completed.

Doesn't APPEAR to be a scam site, but incredibly frustrating. Called to confirm ship times prior to ordering with Priority Overnight service on Tuesday, was told 24-72 hours. After completing additional forms required and following up at 48 hours, was told they were backed up and would be early the following week. Upon following up on Monday, was informed it would be shipped by EOW. Monday afternoon, order was cancelled by business. Immediately called to inquire as to why and was told they thought I would be cancelling to buy somewhere else. I informed them this was not the case, and they said that I'd have to place a NEW order and that it would go to the back of the queue to be worked and would be at least 2 weeks. Rough stuff.

- Complaints online associated with company phone number for alleged fraud.
