Wonderful support when you are a volkswagen customer.
The service staff at Sinclair Neyland are wonderful. Mike and Neil really look after their customers. Nothing is too much trouble and as a long time customer I trust them completely and know I can rely on them to do their best for me. All the staff are professional but show a personal touch. The staff at Neyland are the reason my husband and I have stayed with Volkswagenfor many years. The cars are amazing but the reassurance of great support at our local dealer is everything.

Have used Sinclair for my yearly MOT and service for several years, and have always received a good service , they don’t encourage you to spend money unnecessarily, and to date I’ve not had any issues with the work that they have carried out for me.

Tale of Two Volkswagen Dealers: Avoid Mon Motors, Praise Neyland VW
⭐☆☆☆☆ (1 Star) for Mon Motors Volkswagen, Merthyr Tydfil
I purchased a 21 -plate approved used Polo from Mon Motors in Merthyr Tydfil, expecting the high standards promised by the VW Approved Used programme. Unfortunately, my experience was deeply disappointing.
Within a week of collection, several issues emerged:
· The rear light cluster worked intermittently.
· The brake tail light failed completely.
· The car was supplied without a locking wheel nut.
These are significant safety and quality oversights that should have been identified during the famed "multi-point check." When I contacted Mon Motors to have these warranty issues rectified, their response was shocking. Despite the faults being their responsibility, the earliest booking they could offer was three months away. This was completely unacceptable for a car I had just purchased.
My emails and follow-ups were met with silence, showing a total disregard for customer care after the sale.
⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ (5 Stars) for Neyland Volkswagen
In stark contrast, the team at Neyland VW have been exceptional. Faced with Mon Motors' inertia, I contacted them, and they were a breath of fresh air.
They booked my car in promptly, provided a courtesy car for the day, and fixed all the issues efficiently and professionally. They took full ownership of the problem, assuring me they would pursue Mon Motors for the costs directly.
A special thank you must go to Neil at Neyland, who managed the situation brilliantly and turned an incredibly stressful experience into a resolved one. His professionalism is a credit to the dealership.
Conclusion: My advice is to be very wary of which Volkswagen dealer you choose. Based on this experience, I cannot recommend Mon Motors in Merthyr Tydfil. However, if you are in the area, Neyland VW has proven themselves to be a trustworthy and customer-focused service centre. Thank you again to all at Neyland.

I never get the complimentary car wash that was offered
The service is always really good, the reason for the 3 star is, i always tick the box for a complimentary car wash when checking the car in, but it never gets done.
