Our swing seat was delivered last week and we are delighted with it. The quality of the workmanship is first class and the seat will last for many years. The experience of buying it - from our visit to meet with Martin and Alex to see the range of seats in their lovely garden, agreeing with them details of our seat, and the final delivery and installation - all has been an easy and relaxed procedure. Since delivery the weather has improved so that we can now experience the comfort of swinging gently with our evening drinks.
Despiser the lockdown, a few people have seen the seat and all are very impressed with the quality.

I have just had my Serenity swing seat returned after having it refurbished by the excellent team at Sitting Spiritually.
My swing seat, purchased in 2010, had for various reasons lacked a bit of care and maintenance. Martin was as helpful as always when I phoned to see what could be done and I can honestly say it has been transformed. It looks great and will give me plenty more years of pleasure. This service isn’t cheap but the quality of the workmanship, the superb efficiency of the collection and delivery and having my seat look practically new again makes it worth the cost.

Really love speaking directly to Martin when ordering, he took the best care in understanding our wishes and the whole experience before receiving the swing seat was the best customer service you could ever get. The swing seat is made impeccably, brilliant craftsmanship and love that it's made in the UK. It looks very natural and it sits beautifully within our garden.

I’ve always loved the Sitting Spiritually seats, and longed to have my own. I was able to purchase a pre-loved model which had previously found its home at RHS Harlow Carr. It fits perfectly in our garden and offers us the sunshine spot we had always wanted. The seat is incredibly comfortable, even without cushions, and is beautifully crafted and a pleasure to look at. Martin was very helpful on the occasion we met him at his workshop and the company was a pleasure to deal with. They offer a friendly and personal service, and I couldn’t recommend them more highly.

We were recently looking at a sculpture garden, trying to find something suitable for our garden. Everything we saw was either mediocre, too small or absurdly expensive. Fortunately they had three Sitting Spiritually swing seats so we sat on one, looked at another and realised that one of these lovely seats would work better than any sculpture. We visited Sitting Spiritually on the way home and ordered a Kyokusen. This was a delight in itself because their showroom is a stunning garden. The seat is now installed. It looks great and has a mesmerising way of swinging of its accord even in a gentle breeze. It also has a huge advantage over a sculpture in that you can use it to sit spiritually with a mug of tea or a glass of wine.

I purchased an engraved rocker bench for my disabled son’s 21st birthday 7 years ago. My son lives in supported living so has 3 other house mates. Unfortunately one of the other young autistic men damaged a couple of the slats. I telephoned Martin and he was so understanding and replaced them both and some extra oak plugs free of charge.
The new slats are fitted and fit perfectly.

Wonderful swing. Beautiful craftsmanship. The whole process was fantastic and despite short notice we received our swing as agreed.

We are absolutely delighted with our beautiful, oak, hand made swing seat. The look and comfort of which we made complete with the addition of pretty pad and cushions, springs and drinks shelves. The whole experience from visiting the garden and placing our order, to delivery was a pleasure. Everything went entirely as expected/arranged. We would also like to commend Sitting spiritually on the professional delivery company they use, who are excellent. They protect the furniture with blankets so there is no plastic packaging to go to waste.

The swing seat is beautiful, and really well made. Getting the suspension, and the drinks shelves, was a good idea! Customer service first rate too.

We are SO happy with our swing seat, and very happy about the whole Sitting Spiritually experience: from meeting Martin Young at his home in Lyme Regis (he even joined me on a short walk with my dogs before offering me a cup of tea), seeing the workshop where the first beautifully crafted seat was made, hearing the story of how Sitting Spiritually came about, touring his amazing garden and sitting on examples of the various swing seats and then making a decision about which seat would suit our needs, which arms we would like, what fabric on the seat cushion. The care and attention to detail which then followed as we followed our seat from conception to delivery was exemplary. And then the seat arrived, was put up in minutes, and we haven't stopped sitting on it since! The morning sun lights our seat perfectly for the first coffee of the day in our pj's; in fact, it's very hard to get out of the pj's and dress for work because it's such a pleasurable experience! And of course, a glass of something in hand at the end of the day as the sun descends is a pleasure of a different kind. We honestly couldn't be happier.

Having wanted one of the swing seats for a couple of years I finally ordered a Trilogy swing with a seat and a swing for myself and my grandchildren. The children love it and having their names engraved made it something personal and special for them and it looks lovely in the garden. The process of ordering and delivery was seamless with lots of information how to look after it thank you to the team at sitting spiritually.

Our swing seat is beautiful, comfortable and a perfect addition to our garden. We ordered it as a special treat for our 30th wedding anniversary and we are not disappointed!
