Never buying Skechers again. Extremely loose fit. They were supposed to be a size 9, which all my other shoes are and fit fine, i wore them for about 30 minutes around the house and they were slipping off the back of my heels constantly. I Went to exchange them at the Morayfield Skechers and the lady behind the counter just stared blankly and waved the shoe at me muttering something about being worn. They refused to exchange stating they cant exchange worn shoes (30 minutes on carpet). Terrible customer service.
Don't recommend. We'll never buy Skechers again

My wife and I greatly admired the wonderful welcome, The professionalism and assistance from the staff. Once on a Sunday and again 2 weeks later on a weekday at Bankstown NSW.

Shoes started to fall apart after 6 weeks and they didn’t want to know about it. Shoes should last longer than 6 weeks

I had been given a voucher from my son from sketches,and found the pairs of sketches I wanted , could not get access to to buy online said card was valid but would not recognise my email address ,which is valid , I rang store in Badivis, where a gentlemen told me he could not help, I was desperate cause they were last pair . a friend had told me the Booragoon store helped her. I rang there and the young lady was so so helpful nothing was too much trouble , and it 5.15pm on a Friday, so she sorted it all out for me and iam very very grateful to this lady , so anyone who wants great service go and see Taylor, sketches Booragoon you have a very valued staff member

I went to Skechers Carindale on Sunday to purchase some black slip on work shoes as advertised for $65, was basically told none in Australia, same for the next lowest priced similar shoe, their advertising is a total con.

I recently gave up a pair of Skechers that I wore daily to work, super comfortable, loved them. Purchased 3 new pairs, (2 x 1 style and another style, all slip ons ) the sizing was all wrong, even though they stated the size of my old ones, returned all 3, purchased 1 pair in store, I think my anxiety got the better of me and I purchased a pair that were really no better, they are chucked in my wardrobe, purchased another pair from a Myers sale, again purchased the same size as my chuck out ones, and again the sizing is out, they are not comfortable like my other pair and I note that these new shoes were made 3 years ago, clearly before my last pair with a different insert. I have feet covered in band aids to see me through until I purchase another shoe elsewhere. Never buying Skechers again, I realise I’m better off buying leather, when you think about what you are buying in comparison, Skechers are overpriced. So not happy Jan!!!!

I’d always wanted a pair of Sketchers and ended up buying a lovely light blue pair of walking shoes. When I tried them on in store, they felt great but, from the first time I actually did a proper walk for any length of time, I got big blisters on both heels. I’m so disappointed. The back of the shoe comes up quite high and continues to rub. I have worn them quite a few times now in the hope that my foot has adapted to them but alas ‘no’ and I still have to wear band aids on both heels.
Sorry, can’t recommend.

Poor Fit and Misleading Return Policy
Really disappointed with this purchase and the in-store experience.

The display pair I tried was probably a wide fit or just larger, so I unknowingly ended up with a tighter version in the same size. The left shoe is too narrow and causes pain on the side of my foot (near the bone).

When I went back to two stores closer to my home, I got mixed advice — some staff said to keep wearing them to see if they become more comfortable, while another said that once the shoes have been worn, even for 30–60 minutes, they can’t be replaced. Now I’ve been told they won’t accept a return, even though I only wore them indoors for less than an hour.

I admit it’s partly my fault for not being more careful, but the “30-day return policy” feels misleading. It doesn’t really help customers once the shoes have been briefly tested.

Some shoes may slip on wet floors, feel hard in some areas, and other Skechers I’ve owned have worn out after only six months ( at least was outlet price 59$, not 159$).

Overall, poor quality and one of the worst customer service experiences I’ve had.

Finally, I went to the original store — luckily on Thursday they were open until 9 PM instead of 5. The staff was really nice and saw the shoes were basically new, so they didn’t make any issue with the return. Still, it was quite a terrible experience overall.

Next time, I’ll probably go for ECCO or On Cloud instead.

Fast service and help finding shoes that fit

Placed an online order for 2 x shoes and 1 x jacket.
Instead of jacket, I received bra top. When I checked online, the jacket was still available. By the time Skechers issued returns voucher, days later, the jacket was no longer available.
Part of order was returned on 24th June, received by Skechers on 1st July, ( as per email feedback) and still no refund as of today, 15th July. Numerous contact made via phone calls, online chats, emails, all promising to look into the delay of my refund. Still waiting.

Update, received email today that they received only one item returned. Odd, given that both items were in one package AND the item they claim wasn't returned, wasn't the item I ordered. It was a bra top and I ordered a reversible jacket.
Waiting to see if they refund me in full. Will update review as it progresses.
17th July, finally got refund for shoes returned. In same returned package was bra top that was incorrectly sent. Skechers claim it hasn't been received and therefore not refunding.
My advice, steer clear of ordering from this company online. If returning goods, take photos, or video of package as proof of return.

I had a terrible experience with Skechers Australia’s online shopping and customer service.

My parcel was left at the wrong location, in an unsafe and unsecured area, and was stolen before I could receive it. Although I selected “Authority to Leave,” there was no option to specify a safe place or leave delivery instructions — yet Skechers refused to take any responsibility.

Their customer service replied once with a standard response, blaming the delivery conditions, and then ignored my follow-up email for over 3 days. No accountability, no empathy, no solution.

📌 I do not recommend shopping online with Skechers Australia. If anything goes wrong, don’t expect proper support.

In store service non existent. AVOID SKETCHERS EARLVILLE QUEENSLAND AT ALL COSTS.
Young people, with no training in customer service who are not interested in making sales. Absolutely no help given, rude girl playing on computer. Called security when I simply asked her if she wanted to make a sale? If you're not going to train your staff, don't bother having stores.

Absolute rubbish.
Both the product quality and dealing with sketchers to complain about the shoes.

I have tested my money for 10 years buying shoes from them..😡

I placed an online order today and my order total at checkout was $149.97. I was charged $249.96 on my credit card.
I contacted online chat regarding the overcharge and she proceeded to tell me that the contents of my cart and number of items I had were in breach of the promotion code I used (BUY3) and this is what caused the error.
Blaming the customer for an error on the website is not on. It's misleading to see a price at checkout and be charged a substantial amount more.
I'm a member of Markdown Addicts Australia Facebook group and there are at least another 6 people who contacted live chat regarding the over charges they received.
How many other customers have been overcharged??
I wasted over 2 hours speaking to live chat and the end result offered was to cancel my order.
Skechers have accepted no responsibility for the error and there has been no apology.
I will not shop with skechers again.

The online service has been abysmal. My "express" delivery order was made Mon 3rd June, with an ETA of Tues 4th June. But as of Friday 7th June, the courier has NOT even collected my parcel (even though I've had a tracking number the whole time) and it is not even in transit 5 days later.

This is dreadful. I needed help. I saw online there was a "Wait Time: 1 Minute" for chat help. After 66 minutes and requesting "Speak to someone" -- no-one bothered to reply. I then emailed -- and the canned reply was 0% helpful (they hoped I'd resolved my issue, but if not, reach out to them -- which I ALREADY DID!). And when I then complained 5 days had elapsed and the parcel still hadn't been picked up by the courier (despite having a "Shipped" status in my orders on their website), I got ANOTHER unhelpful canned reply that showed they hadn't even bothered to read my email or understand my complaint.

The shoes are great. In-store is good too, sadly they didn't have stock I needed (and it's a 2-hour trip to get there and back home). But the online experience is dreadfully bad -- ordering, shipping, chat and email support are all terrible. Be prepared for a shocker.

Both shoes wore a hole at the top of the heel despite the fact that I have not been using them on a regular basis over a period of 1 yr. Very disappointed how badly they wore. They were an expensive shoe and were not value for money. Would not recommend and will not be purchasing another pair of Skechers in future.

Many of Skechers products are not fit for purpose. Does not fit well, loose in heels and tight in other portions. Started getting foot pain since I started using Skechers. Inspite of repeated requests, they were not ready to do anything in terms of refund or exchange or store credit.

working for Skechers WAS work. horrible culture of everyone looking down on one another even though they always state we are a team - casuals treated like incompetent beings.
Alot of unpaid work meetings and online training modules. took them years to fix their illegal doings. Was told by an Area Manager that "we all had to do things we don't like" when being forced to attend an unpaid work meeting at 9am!
