Misleading Made In USA Statement
SKS sells a "kit" where both glass bottles and caps are included with purchase. They claim Country of Origin is USA, they even have "Made in the USA" icon on the product page.
Example: sks-bottle/product/398, Trust pilot doesn't allow full links to be pasted so just Google: SKS 4 oz Amber Glass Bottle Round and find the case option that includes caps.
In reality, the glass bottles are Made in India. They list this when buying the same product but in bulk, verified here: sks-bottle/product/391, Trust pilot doesn't allow full links to be pasted so just Google: SKS 4 oz Amber Glass Bottle Round and find the bulk option that doesn't include caps.
I confirmed this with their customer service over the phone. They advertise the Made In USA statement because they assemble the "kit" in the USA, which is just them putting bottles and caps together in a box. This is misleading the country of origin.
It would be more appropriate for SKS to list the product as "Packaged in the USA" and make the Country of Origin very clear of the contents. "Packaged in the USA with Imported Components"

Yes, our kits and bulk items are sold under different SKU's and the country of origin for the specific SKU's depends on whether the product goes into our kit production room or is shipped in its bulk form. We apologize for the confusion and will suggest your option to ownership of kit SKU's showing as packaged in the USA.

SKS immediately notified me when an out of stock product became available to ship. You want to work with a company that's hands on, unlike many companies today that rely on ineffective AI responses.

Great Service!
I am thrilled about the service! Incredibly fast! The only thing I don't really like are the flimsiness of the caps that go on the lip balm tubes. The tubes themselves are nice and solid, but the caps aren't my favorite. Also I feel there needs to be more color options for the caps because I make lip balm in different flavors for a sleep company and that's how they separate their flavors. But, so far my first experience has been great!
