Just had a new sofa delivered. Was delivered when they said they would and app means you can see exactly where the van is. David and Shane, the delivery nen were polite and efficient. Oh, and the sofa is great too.

Ordered a Pugin sofa which looks lovely in my living room. It’s quite a substantial piece of furniture. The guys who delivered it, Shane and Gary were professional, respectful and mindful of other furniture, dogs etc.
I’m a little concerned about the feather cushions which already seem to be sagging towards the middle and not super comfy. I’m used to my other upholstery being firm but squashy and this is a bit different. I can see other reviewers have had issues with cushions but I guess I’ll give it longer to see if they settle down

It was honestly lovely to meet Gary and Shane who arrived early and got the sofas in and unpackaged remarkably quickly. They were very helpful in showing me how to take the legs off and how to deal with any stains and spillages. Two stellar lads!

Why would you go anywhere else to buy your sofa!
From the moment you walk into the showroom in Tunbridge Wells (with free parking directly outside the countryside location) you are made to feel that you are the most important person that has ever visited the showroom. The friendly and helpful advice from Jo Willet and her colleagues was wonderful. The extensive range of Sofas and fillings is incredible. The service continues with the delivery of the sofa's. The two delivery men were friendly, courteous and respectful of our home. All in all, we are delighted that we choose to purchase our Sofa from Sofas & Stuff!

Bespoke sofas - a refreshing shopping experience
November 2025 - We were looking to replace our existing sofas but weren't impressed with the offerings of the major high street retailers so started looking for something a bit different and bespoke and that's when we stumbled upon Sofas and Stuff. We visited their Tunbridge Wells showroom and Jo Willett couldn't have been more helpful. The choice is extensive and lots of opportunity to achieve that bespoke look not just from fabric choice, but by changing accessories like feet, cushions, but also surprisingly the cushion heights and depth. A much appreciated feature for my 6'2 husband. I must admit it took a couple of visits to narrow down and finally make our choice but we got there.
The order was placed and we were told approx 12 weeks for delivery. They were ready slightly sooner which was a nice bonus. The delivery guys were great, very pleasant and very careful. Unpacked and placed all three sofas exactly where we wanted them and took all the packaging away with them.
Since then, we have really enjoyed our sofas. Lots of people have commented on how lovely they are and they are super comfy. Maintenance wise just as we were told we throw the cushions around and drop them on the floor to plump them up and they bounce back like new.
Although the sofas have a care protection package we enquired and were able to purchase some additional fabric from which we intend to make sofa protectors, to stop our puppy and grandchildren from being too heavy on the actual cushions. Won't be a problem when they are all a bit older but for now it's an added layer from spillages and muddy feet etc. And the fact that it matches is a bonus because it all blends in. Jo was very helpful in organising this for us.
All in all, a very good experience and I wouldn't hesitate in recommending to friends and family.

Buy from a proper shop - they have real people!
Really helpful store staff, who advised on fabrics and let us borrow sample books overnight.
Delivery was slightly ahead of that quoted when we bought it and Martyn and Jake were the friendliest people you can imagine. We were notified accurately about delivery times on the day. They advised on how to use the warranty and took all the packaging away with them. Perfect, thank you.

I cannot emphasise enough to stay far…
I cannot emphasise enough to stay far away from this showroom and company. I have had 6 months of pure hell trying to deal with them. They are totally incompetent and downright rude. I still do not have all the items I ordered and despite, the manager himself admitting to me that the chair I ordered which has a strange line down the middle, looks like it has been made from 2 different pieces of fabric, they have refused to refund me, leaving me with the sole option of instigating legal proceedings.
I ordered 2 sofas and a chair with the express condition that these would be ready for Christmas. As the order was placed and fully paid for in mid-September, this did not seem like too much to ask. I am still waiting for missing items (arm caps), 6 months on. When the chair finally arrived yesterday, it is frankly terrible. I have been told by them that it is structurally sound. Well, if that is all that I wanted, I could have gone to Argos and got a chair for under 100 GBP.
In addition, the attitude of this company to customer service is risible. Over the course of the last 6 months, I have had the phone put down on me when I had the temerity to complain that the items would not be ready for Christmas despite me chasing several times by phone and email. I have had the terrible misfortune of dealing with their Head Office and the misnamed customer service department and am now at a dead end with no arm caps and a chair that frankly looks like a child has put it together. Even emailing the managing director personally (at my wit's end at this point) has failed to produce a response. Next step, legal proceedings.
Do not deal with this company unless you want months of heartache and a terrible end result. If you would like to see a photo of the chair, take a look at the google reviews for the Chelsea showroom. Avoid, avoid, avoid!
Ignore the pro forma response (below). I have been dealing with your customer service department who have completely failed to rectify the problem and remain of the opinion that the chair is perfectly adequate because it is structurally sound. Their response below is completely misleading. Nothing has been rectified and they have simply doubled down on the issue. It is hard to overstate what a terrible experience it has been dealing with this company both at showroom level and head office.

Every step of the way was a pleasant experience! Nicole in the Harrogate store was very helpful during the designing our sofas and was super knowledgeable about colors, patterns and fabrics. The communication during the fabrication process was also excellent. Even the delivery day with Gary and Greg was wonderful. My sofas are beautiful, exactly what I was hoping for.
