Great atmosphere and first class food… will definitely go back soon!

Food was the amazing and service really good

I would mark as zero if I could! Web site is very confusing, process is confusing. I have tried multiple times to book and had restaurants refuse the vouchers even when they were on the Squaremeal site as accepting vouchers. I tried calling restraints in advance but they weren’t sure of the process either. As a last attempt to salvage my gift vouchers I purchased items from the online shop using the vouchers but they charged my credit card instead! Complete sham, AVOID!

Everything about our visit to to The Crown was excellent with the exception of noisy children in the dining room. We moved back to a table in the bar to enjoy our desserts in peace.

Excellent food, service and prices

Bistro Freddie is truly lovely. The atmosphere is warm, friendly and happy. There's no blaring music to kill conversation, but it's noisy enough to be private. The style is Paris bistro meets Shoreditech trendy. The food is really good, an appetising menu prepared in front of you, so that you want everything. Particularly recommended are the cod, any steak specials, and the pie - which is for two. The side salad is fantastic and huge. The desserts look wonderful but I've never had space for one. The service -better called hospitality really - is great. You feel like you're an old friend. They are warm and welcoming, they look after you, when you want something else they appear. And it always seems to be full, which give the distinct impression that others share this view. I've eaten here multiple times, because you always know you'll have a great time, the food will be excellent, and you'll get to enjoy the company of those you are with just as if you were in the kitchen of one of you, in some sort of fantasy version of that Russell Crowe film where he's a rich city trader who's left an old house in Provence, goes there to sell it, and falls in love. Hugely recommend.

Scam website. Do not use this website. They allow you to book reservations at restaurants that do not even accept reservations. They will charge you a deposit, and when you get to said reservation, you will realise none of the sort exists. They even allow you to book a table at places which do not even accept reservations.

Good food good service good value a great lunchtime stop on a long journey

Was a great experience at Ilford Big Moe's with family; comfortable and spacious setting. Food didn't take ages to come, and when it did, kids loved it and nothing remained on the plates! Also parking in nearby extensive car park was very cheap; only £2 for 2 hours!

Easy booking experience, fast points earning.

Pleasant and welcoming staff. Reception/dining area had a nice ambience. Room was small but adequate for 1 night stay. The food (dinner) was nicely presented and tasted very good with good value for money. There was plenty choice for breakfast. Would highly recommend and would stay here again.

This is a nice place with a great atmosphere. Staff were pleasant & attentive. Table very small but was okay. Small menu but fair amount of choice. We both ordered the muckle version of the Caesar salad & it was far from muckle with one small piece of bacon & not a lot of chicken. I’m glad we ordered the chips on the side (which were lovely) as it wasn’t the most filling Caesar salad I’ve had & the price was not justified for what we received. Perhaps the other options might have been better. £100 for 2 caesars, chips, bottle of wine & 2 Proseccos.

Best steakhouse in London. Staff is very attentive and polite. The rib eye was melting in my mouth. Will be back soon.

Wonderful experience, best sushi in London. Great seevice and outstanding decors. If you love sushi do not hesitate to come here.

I don’t know how this business has any success. We’ve received two vouchers for them and both times battled to use them. The first time squaremeal issued us a one time refund and the second, we ensured we followed instructions perfectly. we activated the voucher as directed, dined at a square meal restaurant (from the list on the website) with the registered card, and was never credited for the meal.
Companies like EatClub use this linked card tech perfectly and it’s instant so I don’t know what squaremeal is doing wrong but it’s not good.
Yet to receive the credit for this second voucher.

Awful. I was given a voucher as a Christmas present. Trying to work out how to register and use it was frustrating and infuriating, with no telephone assistance available. Finally, when I did book somewhere, it was only to discover that the voucher was not valid at that restaurant, and there only a limited number of restaurants where they are valid.

In short, if you want give someone some money towards a meal, send them cheque. Whatever you do, don't use SquareMeal, the recipient won't appreciate it.

Lovely restaurant but found the Squaremeal selection of a restaurant and process complicated. So many restaurants on the Squaremeal website did not offer the vouchers which felt strange given they were listed.

Service, food and wine quality. A perfect lunch that took me straight to Morroco and back.

I had a birthday date with my 12 year old grandson the whole experience was perfect. The restaurant is beautifully decorated with high ceilings and it was cosy and warm. It is an intimate setting with the right amount of seating, the team were welcoming, tentative and kind having good conversation with us. The food was delicious I had the slow cooked curried mutton pizza and my grandson had nonna's jerk chicken pizza. I was curious would these work on a pizza, oh my gosh they absolutely do the tastes were flavorsome and very much on point. We also had chips & dips light fluffy quirky shaped with a crispy tasty coating. My grandson said it was so good he felt he was floating on air. The ambiance was topped off with a great selection of music at the right volume bringing vibes making his birthday treat perfect. It was value for money we took a couple of slices away with us boxed up nicely. I will be returning to try the rum punch which I clocked. Nottingham needs this fusion, thank you.

First visit but won’t be the last. Lots to try across the menu.
