Auto-renew is such an obnoxious, predatory practice. No notice and BAM A $79 charge on my credit card, absolutely unauthorized. I filed a chargebackk but of course I will lose that fight. What a horrible company.

We dropped Starz a while ago, because it seemed like the lineup never changed. With the last season of Outlander, we renewed. Easy, Starz remembered our credentials, took one of the short-term deals. And then… The lineup was on the screen, pressed the picture, and, nothing. No selection worked. Looked for Support on-line. Ah, no phone support. Chat only. OK let’s chat! 20 minutes later, oops, no response and time’s up. You will get an email! Sure, 24 hours later! No help of any kind. A bad joke. Some days it actually works, some days not. IF we make it to the end of Outlander, goodbye Starz…forever!

Starz has become a rip-off. $75 a year for only 5 movies that are watchable. The library is extremely small. Free streaming services have more content. How do I get a refund on my yearly subscription?

This company is HORRIBLE!!! Just in the fact that there are no human interaction. Everything is either automated or chat. Don't sign up with them, they will say one thing and charge your account another! They are like most companies that got their hands in your pockets and are dishonest. I will be getting my money back. Once that happens I will NEVER sign up with them again! I will even spread the word on their lack of explanation and lying! Horrible company!

I have had this streaming app for 2 years and went to renew it and it was 76 dollars. The nerve of them to go up on a app that hasn't put anything new on it the whole 2 years that I have had it. This app is differently not worth that kind of money. Sorry Starz but you have lost a customer because you want to be over priced and you under deliver with the content. There are way more steaming app with a lot more content with much cheaper prices.

they force you to watch previews - even with a fulyl paid account. No way to FWD through them - and it's usually crap i don't want to see.

Starz has the worst shows and movies! Outlander is the only exception. After my subscription ended I did not want to renew. Unfortunately I was renewed, canceled immediately only to find out they will end my subscription next year! What kind of BS is this? I contacted my CC company but they didn't put a hold on the payment. I contacted Starz and was give a fake refund in an email. I was given dates when it would all happen and none of it did. Starz's customer support agents will purposely lie to you. It's been a month and I still don't have my refund! Be warned, they are thieves!

Signed up for a special and told when that runs out I would be notified, well they didn't and charged me 74.00 and I haven't even watched it. I immediately asked for a refund and they refuse, even filed with paypal. Beware, bait and switched.

They are nothing but a bunch of scam artist we signed up for the $25 a year special last November 2025 the first month they took out $.50 I guess because it was close to the end of the month. The second month they took out 2.75 which would’ve been a proper amount. The third month they took out $10.99 which is a regular price I called them and they said well I never signed up for the special so I canceled.

impossible to get cancelled, email there customer service and no replys, now still says "cancelling" almost a month later. predatory practice for customers to not be able to cancel even by email to customer service

Do not subscribe to Starz. Its easy to subscribe, you WILL be disappointed very shortly, and they make it incredibly difficult to cancel.

Never sign up for STARZ they will keep taking your money even after you cancel … shows are trash nothing to watch now

While I like their shows; they take too long between seasons to merit me spending money year round for them.
My subscription was coming up for renewal. They sent an email. I decided to cancel. Starz then offered a subscription at $3.99 a month. I accepted and then received an email saying I was renewing for $69.99 a year! Do the math-
I re cancelled and they then offered $2.00 a month. I do not trust them and just cancelled altogether.
A truly shady company - and don't try calling on their number; they give no option to speak to a live agent.
UPDATE - I found out that the day I cancelled; they charged my credit card. I had to open up a dispute with my bank. Thus company needs to be fined.

First of all if zero stars was an option I would choose that I originally only got this app because I wanted to watch some movies that where on there and it offered a 7 day free trial and then 4.99 a month after that so I clicked start free trial and immediately after I make the account I get charged 4.99 so I go on the support chat wait 45 mins for a agent get off because that’s a long time I thought maybe it’s closed as soon as I sign off the chat I get emails saying we tried to help you but we don’t offer 7 day free trials so I reply and say you absolutely do I try to get an agent again and wait 45 more mins and no one ever answers then I receive an email telling me I refunded your money your accounts closed immediately and we don’t offer that so I provide a picture showing that they do advertise it and now I receive another response telling me we are experiencing high volume in inquires may take a week to respond to you all though it only took two mins for them to send me that stupid response makes no sense I wouldn’t give them your money!

Starz cancelled power book:force after season 3. I am in disbelief that they would cancel the best show they had. Force is the only reason I subscribed to Starz and I will never watch Starz again if they do not continue force. don’t be stupid, bring back force !!!

STARZ is TRASH !
Not because of the ABSOLUTELY FIRE SHOWS that CURTIS 50CENT JACKSON HAS put on there, but because they get the BEST SHOWS & 2 or 3 seasons in CANCELS THE SHOWS, or do dumb sh!t like not want to pay PHENOMENAL ACTORS LIKE OMARI HARDWICK THAT MAN DESERVED TOP PAY FOR HIS DENZEL WASHINGTON EQUIVALENT PERFORMANCES IN POWER, I have UNSUBSCRIBED DUE TO POOR MANAGEMENT AT STARZ NETWORK…
In my personal opinion, @50CENT NEEDS TO START HIS OWN NETWORK !

This company charged my paypal account for a subscription I never ordered. I checked every account I had like roku Amazon etc in order to find where this subscription originated from because when trying to cancel further charges Starz website would not allow it instead stated it could only be cancelled where it originated and gave a list of those accounts to check. I have contacted the 4 times via email and other then a we will get back to you automated reply once I still have not been contacted. In was able to cancel the subscription thru PayPal but it did not refund the money stolen from my account by this company. BEWARE do not subscribe with bank card or bank information where it can not be cancelled.

I just had the most uncomplicated & pleasant experience to cancel my annual sub. that I've possibly ever had. Idk if I just got lucky, but the young man who took care of me, Alex, handled my issue in less than 5'-on a Saturday-& my refund has already been posted to my bank account. Not one second of hesitation or difficulty!

Not only do they have amazing shows, but there was a billing issue and they did the right thing - and handled it quickly and correctly. Highly recommend Starz all the way around!

Shows aren’t showing, the ones that are takes to long to air! Costly stop pushing back your most viewed shows! Creates negative room!
