Nice honest dealer , great fish at a great price

Worst service out here. Trying to sell goods they don't even have any. when only one of the 2 items I ordered eventually turned up it was badly damaged beyond use. Seller was not interested at all. Never received refund or replacement items

Product was not in stock, offered me an alternative which I declined. Refunded me straight away. Would use again

If I could give this company 0 stars I would. Similar to others experiences. November 11 2024 I ordered koi feed that was stated as being In stock. It turned out it was not. I was offered a partial refund and a replacement small bag of feed. I accepted. Over a week later, I neither had the refund nor the smaller bag.

I got in touch and complained, and the partial refund of £35 was reimbursed November 28th. He stated he would despatch the 5kg of feed the next day. That of course has not arrived.

Update: 9th December 2024.
He now states it was despatched by his supplier. When I asked who the courier is, he stated APC. Steel city koi stated that sometimes the supplier does not track their goods. And that Steel city koi may be used for any tracking that is made 🤔. Waste of my time- and others by the looks of it.

Today, he has stated that the goods were returned to the supplier. I asked why would they have been returned to the supplier when no delivery was attempted. I know there was not. This truly is a dodgy company who should not be allowed to trade. I have requested a full refund. Time will tell when I receive it.

Made an order and was contacted almost immediately to claim they the koi food was priced incorrectly,
That he would gladly send the food at the correct price
No delivery !
No contact !
Total scam !

Unfortunately can’t give zero stars. No goods received, when I called they said they were dispatched yesterday, yet didn’t ask for my name or order details. Opened a dispute either CC company, first time in my life, and Steel City koi have challenge it. I’ve written off the money I just want to see them get their just desserts.

Jumped up entitled little brat doesn’t even deserve 1 star! After over a month of waiting for my order, with him constantly ignoring me then telling me he’s on holiday and he’s aloud a break I gave up, his business won’t last long and everyone in the koi community knows he’s a joke, we all have a good chuckle at his videos on YouTube 🤡

I wish I’ve never ordered from them,I’ve ordered few tubes of ms300 weeks ago only to find out(after 2 weeks wait)they don’t hold items in stock ,still waiting for delivery,absolute rubbish.

I let William down the 3rd March 2024 due to a family bereavement as of 4am that morning. He’s booted me out all his sales groups and is even laughing at me expressing emotions. Avoid at all costs.

Really good quality koi, I have bought koi from Will for the past 3 years and he is the only place I would go. He is very knowledgeable and his stock is really good value for money

I purchased food for this company, never arrived , and I have been emailing , calling them for hundreds of times not providing tracking number for your order , didn’t get back to me . This company only takes money from people, not honest company .lost £110
BE AWARE PURCHASING THIS WEBSITE.

I purchased a pond pump which arrived promptly but it stopped working. It was returned for a promised replacement but none was forthcoming. I asked for a refund but contact ceased. Lost £155.00. I wish I had looked at the reviews. Clearly this company should not be trading.

Steel city koi don’t deserve any stars . They are thieves I ordered paid in good faith then was lied to over and over again.You will be wasting your good earned money on a totally dishonest company. You won’t receive your goods and you won’t get a refund. You have been warned

After over 40 years of Koi Keeping I find myself taking the time to review what must be one of the worst companies I have ever dealt with in all the time Ive kept koi. From placing my order and paying online I have found the owner of this company to be less than honest so much so that I drove over 100 miles to confront him about my order and his dishonesty. It got to the stage whereby either he sorted my order out or I was going to the Local Police station. Excuses after excuses he even told me that my order had been sent and when I checked with the supplier the order for my goods had only been made after my personal visit not three weeks before when I had ordered it. There are much better people to deal with in the world of koi keeping my advice is deal with them not Steel City Koi. Oh and having spent my entire working career in the Legal Profession I would welcome any challenges from the owner as this review is neither libel or slanderous its the simple truth.
