SteelMaster Buildings Reviews 

We had a commercial project where a SteelMaster building system was spec’d out as a roofing component to a curved outdoor amphitheater pavilion. We were not previously aware of SteelMaster’s product line but the very complex project ended up going together without a hitch. Noah Taylor at SteelMaster went above and beyond by working directly with our structural engineer to make sure the finished product was going to match what the architect envisioned. Overall a great experience with the SteelMaster team and we hope to have another occasion to work together in the future.

Steelmaster leaves a lot to be desired, where water intrusion is concerned. The arches don't seal to the base good enough. And the base connector doesn't seal to the concrete pad well either. If I had it to do over, I would just go with a traditional building.

Your team was always available and helped us through the entire build process. There were no big surprises. The build was a challenge but I and my family and friends performed the build. None of us are construction contractors. The building was engineered well.

Sales department was very efficient suggesting correct structure for my elevation and snow loads. Pricing at least on my closeout including freight and veteran discount for add-ons shows their commitment to our armed forces.

The delivery contractor was very communicative per my request. My remote location was not an issue for the driver. On time and on budget.

Great effort in helping me find the material I needed. Very reasonable delivery time, pleasant experience. Sales person Mr. Brenden remembered, (in a good way,) my siding order from 13 years past. Good company to deal with.

Our experience withSteelMaster was excellent! Before ordering we had some questions and they were super helpful during the entire process! When it was time to order their team made sure everything was accurate and were flexible for scheduling a later delivery for our project. We look forward to our build!

Collin has helped me through a lot of my Quonset hut remodel. He’s taken the time to inform and send pictures as examples. Great job.

While the building is high quality, the sales team is not responsive. They did not explain at all options that were available when the initial purchase was made, and while they stated a follow up would be made, I did not receive a follow up until after speaking to the warehouse manager that called 3 weeks later to schedule delivery. It was also never expressed to me that while the deposit and change order payments may be made with a credit card will no fee, final payment made via credit card will be charged a 2.5% "convenience fee".

Very knowledgeable, not too pushy, building what I need.

First class all the way....from product selection, order, production to delivery. I cannot think of anything SteelMaster Buildings, Inc. could have done better!

Thank You. I wanted more, but had to petted back because of the price of the cement at 180.00 a yard. At a later date I will add to what I have, that is where you will be involved with me again, again Thank You for your support.

Noah Taylor was such a helpful guy to deal with, he listened to what I was asking for and gave me details that were important. Other companies will push products on you or sizes you don't want because they have them on hand or don't want to actually do the work for what you're specifically asking for. This is the 2nd building I've bought from steel master and from Noah in specific.

The products you buy are engineered to your location not just the same for everyone and the kits are very good at explaining the process, which is also super easy for following along.

I have built two quonset huts. Worked with Elizabeth Anderson and then Noah Taylor.

Update: Since posting my original review, SteelMaster’s team, including the general sales manager, has been consistently professional and responsive. They took my complaint seriously, asked for the details, and focused on fixing the experience instead of arguing about it. After that, they supported my evaluation process exactly the way a customer expects: clear answers, patience with my questions, and help comparing options so I can decide what is right for my project.

I’m not writing this to “walk back” what happened on the first call. I’m writing it because the follow up has been strong enough to change my perspective about how the company operates when an issue is escalated.

As a business owner, I value how a company responds when something goes wrong, and in my case they handled it the right way.

Scheduled sales call on January 20, 2026 at 10:00 AM about a Quonset style building kit. Early in the call I was asked for my budget. I explained I’m comparing systems and don’t have a specific budget number yet. The representative replied: “Oh, so you must have all the financial resources in the world for this project.” I ended the call due to the disrespectful tone. I can’t comment on the product because we never got to specs, engineering, or itemized pricing, but the professionalism on the call was not acceptable.

We purchased a SteelMaster arch style building recently and were very pleased with their price, answering our questions and getting back to us right away without and high pressure sales tactics. They were very good to work with and we look forward to erecting our 30 x 40 foot Q style building this coming summer.
