This Estate Agent extremely unhelpful.
This Estate agent refused to take me to a property I am very interested to buy (cash); I am almost blind, but unlike other agents in York they would not help me or the Vendors by agreeing to take me to the property or arrange for agent to meet me. On Right Move this property seemed ideal, I have a buyer for mine, but now having to look for further properties and better agents.
Would definitely not use this Agents to sell my properties with in the future.

We strongly dispute your account of events.
Having reviewed the matter with our Sales Manager and listened to call recordings, you were offered a viewing on Thursday at 3.30pm. You initially accepted this arrangement. We therefore did NOT refuse you a viewing or decline to arrange for an agent to meet you there.
The difficulty arose when you requested transport to and from the property. Our Sales Manager explained that our insurance would not cover this and asked whether someone could accompany you. When you referred to other agents providing transport, he explained that he could not comment on their insurance arrangements. Put simply we do not offer a free taxi service as part of our offering.
Our Sales Manager reports that you then called him a “t**t”. We are simply appalled by this abusive response to a reasonable and politely explained limitation.
We recognise that your visual impairment can make travelling to viewings more difficult. However, this does not justify personal abuse towards our staff, who are entitled to courtesy and respect especially when they offered to provide you a viewing of the home you request.
Given the conduct reported to us, respectfully we would not welcome any further dealings with you whatsoever.
