31 years ago we had an appointment with Steven Stone for my engagement ring completely dismissing the ring I wanted and talked me into a ring I wasn’t keen but I trusted him. Before I married I made an appointment with him to see if something could be done as I wasn’t happy but he wouldn’t.6 years after our marraige I part exed my engagement ring for a solitaire with a local jeweller but I now have a wedding ring that matches my first engagement ring and looks mismatched with my current ring.So basically dont be talked into changing your mind stick to what you want. Incidentally we’re still married.

We attended The Hale branch, without an appointment, & met with Jason. He was able to see us and dealt with us efficiently and so professionally. We felt at ease the whole time and left the shop having ordered our wedding rings. Jason was polite and very attentive. Can’t thank you enough.

Would say overall a fantastic experience. Not only delivered on the promised engagement ring but also went over and beyond the services required.
A great collaborative jewellery shop, professional advice and fully transparent. Can only recommend it and would definitively advise any buyer to pass by and check them out.

Disappointing Customer Service – Completely Ignored Multiple Emails

We purchased both our engagement ring and wedding rings from this business and have always valued the quality of their products and past service. Unfortunately, that makes the current experience all the more disappointing.

I’ve now sent three emails over the past few weeks regarding the annual cleaning service for our rings—including a simple question about whether the wedding rings can be cleaned alongside the engagement ring. Not one of these emails has been acknowledged. No reply, no follow-up, nothing.

For a business in the jewelry industry, where long-term customer relationships and trust are everything, this level of silence is both rude and unprofessional. It’s not a complicated request—we’re trying to bring in our rings for service, not asking for anything extraordinary.

If you only value customers up to the point of sale and ignore them afterward, it says a lot about your priorities. Very disappointed, and we’re now seriously reconsidering where we take our business in the future.

What a fabulous experience from start to finish. Couldn't recommend Steven Stone enough. Never had a bespoke piece of jewellery made before but David was amazing, no hard sell. He was so friendly and knowledgeable. He created a truly beautiful trilogy ring, which I was over the moon with.We were able to track the progress of the making of my ring which was exciting. Will definitely going back. Thank you David.

Nothing is too much trouble and the ring I had made was perfect, stunning and within my budget. I was so impressed with Steven Stone's quality jewellery some 8 years ago when I had a diamond ring and necklace made that I chose them to make a dress ring for me recently. I was very pleased with my stunning ring and also the service given by David again. Top quality service and amazing design service with beautiful jewellery within my budget, David listened to my ideas and advised on what would work and look good and delivered exactly the ring I wanted

Fantastic jewellers that make bespoke rings and have a genuine interest and care in helping choose the perfect ring. David was brilliant and very calming throughout the whole process in helping me pick an engagement ring. At no point did he try to upsell and if anything he always came with suggestions that were slightly below my budget and he knows his stuff. I would 100% recommend using Steven Stone if you want choose a quality ring that is unique to your requirements at a good price. You'd be surprised to know that they actually come in much cheaper when compared with the average high street retailer.

Picking the right ring was such an enjoyable experience. The Hale store sales assistant was extremely knowledgeable and did not make me feel hurried. The ring is beautiful and my fiancé is extremely happy. I will not visit anywhere else going forward for any jewellery purchases.

Bought an engagement ring last year, via in-store visits in Marylebone. Service and care were top-notch. Highly recommend. Cannot comment on online-only experience, but in-person was great. They were knowledgable, helpful, and attentive, with great follow-up service

My experience with this establishment has been less than satisfactory. I placed an order for an engagement ring over a month ago, and regrettably, I have received minimal communication from them, except when I actively pursued updates. Initially promised delivery at the beginning of the week, I am now informed it will be by the end of the week. Given the significant financial investment involved, one would anticipate a higher level of service. Unfortunately, I cannot recommend this place based on my experience.

Excellent service! We had to return due to the diamond in my engagement ring feeling a little loose, which was resolved very quickly! Jason was thorough in the assessment and also offered to check over my wedding band at the same time, both rings were checked over, cleaned and returned within 10 minutes! Highly recommend Steven Stone for both their knowledge and professional service!

Ordered a product off the website, paid, and received an order confirmation. Received a call from a Manchester number saying the product wasn’t available as was “already sold” and tried to get me to agree to an alternative - I’ve heard of ‘bait and switch’ before in the jewellery industry. Used a credit card for payment protection but it wasn’t needed as Steven Stone issued a refund.

After searching and not finding the perfect ring for my special birthday we made an appointment at a Steven Stone and had the perfect ring made. Alexandra helped guide us through the process and made it so easy. They had the ring ready when they said it would and even arranged for someone to meet us in the store as it was closed due to storm Eunice, although eventually we did not make it they really went the extra mile. When we finally collected the ring the next day it was stunning and certainly exceeded my expectations. Thank you to Igor and all the Steven Stone Staff. A true gem, will definitely use again

I recently used Steven Stone for purchasing my engagement ring. I was extremely specific about my requirements and I was on a short deadline but this was no trouble for the team.

Sadly, my diamond was lost in transit - no fault of the retailer but they handled the situation excellently. They gave options for both if the new diamond arrived in time or if it didn't so I was put at rest. Luckily, the new diamond did arrive but it was reassuring knowing we had a back up plan if not.

The reason this isn't a 5* - The ring was delivered in a damaged box which came apart when I opened it. As soon as I opened the package I could see the box was damaged as it wasn't shut properly and had come away at the back, therefore the retailer would have known also that it was damaged when sending out. This isn't what you expect from a highly reputable jewellers. I contacted the store the same day and they sent out a new box for next day delivery.

My experience was perfect and I love my rings, they are stunning! I did an on line chat with Ronnie, due to Covid, and she then asked to give me a call where she explained all about the diamond I had chosen. My diamond is in memory of my mum and Ronnie invited me to a face to face appointment to ensure I got exactly what I wanted. Ronnie was so knowledgeable, paying close attention to detail and assuring me on my purchase. I cried when I saw my ring, it is perfect, as promised! I did go over my original budget, but Ronnie was excellent at comparing stones to see where the money was going and I knew what I wanted and what I’d be happy with for the rest of my life, so happy to stretch (my husband grumbled a bit!). I am truly happy and satisfied.

Steven Stone Jewellers and the gorgeous Molly have to be by far the best jewellers and experience I’ve ever had! From the moment we walked in (with our active toddler) we were made to feel so at ease, looked after and comfortable. There was no pretentious atmosphere that lots of jewellers have and we could just relax whilst trying to find my perfect replacement engagement ring. Molly was absolutely amazing! She sat, discussed and explained every single little detail and helped so much! She was so patient, kind, warm and so natural and welcoming. After looking through so many beautiful styles of rings I still couldn’t decide but Molly somehow knew exactly what I wanted and found me the most PERFECT ring I could ever imagine!! As soon as I tried it on I fell madly in love. She knew me better than I did after only half an hour! We then spent ages choosing the perfect diamonds and Molly had so much expertise with what to look/go for.
The customer service was second to none and she even looked after my existing wedding ring, cleaning it etc. When I went to pick up my ring, every person there was just as gorgeous and welcoming as Molly. It is such a beautiful jewellers with equally gorgeous people working there!
I cried when I saw the ring and haven’t been able to stop looking at it since. The diamond is absolutely exquisite and Molly worked so hard at finding this for me. I have had so many comments at how beautiful it is. I couldn’t be happier with the experience and any jewellery I buy in the future will 100% be from Steven Stone! Thank you all so so much!
