Beware of sending personal information…
Beware of sending personal information to this company! They had me complete an on boarding which required SERIOUS in depth personal information including full social security number, routing and account bank number information and much much more. I was skeptical at first but they told me it needed to be done to get the job I applied for. After calling and checking about the job they said I was applying to for almost 2 months consistently with no response back from Taurus staffing inc. and with no solid answer about job information so I decided to I called my local office based in Knoxville, TN to kindly ask if they would delete my profile because I was concerned about all my personal information they had on file. The woman speaking said that with all of the thousands of files they have that they have never had any personal information leaked and her words exactly were “oh we could do some serious damage with the information we have if we wanted to haha” and proceeded to tell me not to worry about it despite hearing what she just said. I then said I believe you wouldn’t sell my information but I’d still like my account deleted and a confirmation once it was. She said they can’t send a confirmation and all they had was a deactivation on their end after the account was deleted but there was nothing to send me proving they had deleted my information and her words exactly were, “there isn’t a damn thing to do about it”. Once I asked to at least screenshot the deactivation page for me she became extremely aggressive saying that she’s never sold personal information (which I never accused her of) then started yelling at me while I wasn’t saying a word then hung up the phone. I wasn’t asking for much and was not upset at all but to be This is an extremely sketchy process and an extremely sketchy company. BEWARE.
