This was a great affordable course that…
This was a great affordable course that I would recommend for anybody like me looking for a career change into TEFL. My only complaint was that my assignments kept on being flagged as AI generated, something I'm very against. AI checkers are very inaccurate and the company really should use a different one or scrap it altogether. Whilst responses were fast, the only reply I got to this issue was 'write a few paragraphs to explain how you wrote this'.

A good experience
Asif, my tutor has been polite and helpful throughout the course with specific and detailed feedback. The flexibility of the online course really helps out in planning and scheduling time. The content as well was quite relevant.
One thing which can be worked upon, would be 'the two-way' communication process, for doubts and queries, within the portal itself (instead of discord).

Study progress reveted several times
My husband is taking 120 hours.online tefl cource.
I am extremely disappointed with the technical support at The TEFL Org. For the past several days, he has been unable to finish his course because his learning progress keeps reverting to a previous state.
He has tried everything on my end:
clearing cache, using different browsers (Chrome, Safari, Edge), and even using Incognito mode. Nothing works.
What’s worse is the complete lack of communication. I have tried reaching out via phone and text multiple times, but I have received zero response. This is unacceptable for a paid certification course, especially when he has a strict deadline to meet.
If this issue is not resolved immediately and his progress is not restored, I will be forced to request a full refund or initiate a chargeback through my credit card provider. Please contact me and fix this bug now.

A total rip-off
A total rip-off. Unless you’re willing to work anywhere, for any length of time, and under any conditions, this certificate is useless. It doesn't include any teaching practice, which is essential for job applications. The placement rate TEFL.org claims must be hidden behind some very creative fine print.
Not recommended. Unless you've just finished school and don't care where or for how long you go abroad.

Its okay!
I liked that the course is well organised and easily understandable. However, the word count for the tasks is so short and takes away the fun and the meaningfulness. Especially in the second-to-last unit, it was nearly impossible. They want a lot from you, such as explanations, outlines, comments, etc., in only 400 words. It definitely was not enjoyable.
I heard that my friend used another platform and she has less problems.

Thank you for sharing your feedback.
We’re pleased to hear that you found the course well organised and easy to understand. We put a lot of care into structuring the lessons so that students can follow the material clearly and build their knowledge step by step.
We’re sorry to hear that the word limits on some of the tasks felt restrictive, particularly in the later units. The word counts are designed to encourage concise planning and reflection, which is an important skill when preparing lesson plans and teaching materials in real classrooms. That said, we understand that this approach doesn’t always suit everyone, and we appreciate you sharing your perspective.
Thank you again for taking the time to leave a review, and we wish you the very best with your future teaching plans.

The teacher/instructor was very engaging and accommodating of our different backgrounds and experiences. The activities were quite enjoyable too, and his career tips were insightful. The low student-teacher ratio we had was also good.
