2 years of non-production, only hot air and long-winded 'updates' that could have been written by a self-learning computer.

They've taken over $6 million and in return post "we're nearly there" on Kickstarter every 3 months so. It's been 2 years and counting.
Scam
As previous comments say, complete scam. I supported them years ago, and every month they say they have an unexpected issue that delays the shipping to the following month, when they eventually have an issue that delays the shipping to the following month, when they eventually have an issue... And so on. And of course they refuse to proceed to any refund.
this is a scam
this is a scam, I supported their project 2 years ago and still nothing has arrived
Six million dollar scam
I backed this project almost two years ago. Backers have received nothing but excuses and promises that are never met. When a Kickstarter project gets over 6 million dollars and backers make legitimate complaints they are then met with retorts saying they are nothing but crybabies and conspiracy theorists. Avoid this project!

Ordered a year ago. No sign of product.
Complete scam.
Dishonest from the start
I understand Kickstarter is a platform used by start-ups to raise funds to develop their product. However you’d hope one would be honest about their actual stage of development! The guys at Terraplanter provided a pitch insinuating they had a product ready and were raising funds to scale up. Their initial timeline was totally unrealistic given their true stage of product development! Either they were actually clueless on how long this process was going to take them (which is worrying) or knowingly lied in order to secure funding. Either way what a s**t show… Backers have been disappointed and frustrated for over a year. When (if) the products reach us it’s unlikely any backer would truly enjoy or recommend it after all this.
Why would this be a scam?
Its hard to believe that so many people believe that Tevaplanter (ex-terraplanter) is a scam?
Have you ever produced any kind of precision mould? The product is not just a simple clay pot, much material science goes into development of it and the hardest of the process = mass production of a product like that to maintain high-quality in each and every product.
You fund kickstarter project not to get your so called "reward" but to give them funds to be able to develop the product and production techniques. Yes, you can buy tevaplannter ripp offs and i wonder what is the quality of them.
Regarding communication they are quite honest and open about it on Kickstarter if you would actually read them. Not to mention the pandemic that has hard impact for everyone for years to come.
I just believe that many backers of Tevaplanter project are just ignornat and they only see themselves and they so called "CLAY POTS". There is much more to it. I fits so easy, why didnt YOU do it in the first place?
Not worth the (continued) wait...
After a year of waiting patiently but I've finally concluded that this is a scam. How in the world can it take you over a year to produce a CLAY POT? There's no chip shortage affecting them, so what's the deal?
About the company name change... I think these *Terra planter knock offs" are actually their planters that they sold off to someone in China instead of completing investor orders. They changed the name to "Teva Planter" to continue the grift...
I bought one of these knock offs and they work great. On the kickstarter/indiegogo campaign page, they respond to these knock offs with mumbo-jumbo like "these knock offs don't are of lesser quality than our 'superb' product". It would be nice to compare, but all I can get my hands on are the knock offs, so I'll be happy with that!
Terrableplanter - Scam company, $6million in unsent orders
Terraplanter is a scam of a company. They have over $6 million in sales on Kickstarter alone, been waiting over one YEAR for it to be sent, but they haven’t sent orders to anyone. Every couple of months they make up some excuse for a delay. First it was shipping delays for parts, then it was that they were finalising it, now they’ve just announced they don’t even know how to make the terracotta! There is no way I am ever going to see this product, and neither is anyone else.
They tried rebranding from all the negative publicity. I have no doubt they will become bankrupt soon, just to keep everyone’s money. Be warned. I highly encourage everyone to share your experience about this company. I’m taking it to social media (and I work in marketing, to help it go viral). I’m reporting them to each Consumer Rights group, my credit card company as fraud, and also to all review sites.
TERRAPLANTER MUST BE STOPPED!
Disappointing and a possible scam.
As my review was removed without reason, I need to write it again.
This company is probably a scam (getting reviews removed confirms this).
The Kickstarter project struggles with constant delays and with lack of communication since the beginning.
A lots of people are dissatisfied and lost trust.
The @Creators were ignoring essential questions on purpose and made no attempt to restore lost trust due to this.
They have changed their name to Tevaplanter, so that is the same company.
Trustpilot: It would be good at least, if you would send a notification before removing reviews. This is not the most transparent and straight way of doing this.
I've been stung
I see no reason not to think this is a scam. I pre-ordered one, got sucked in and added a second, and have yet to receive anything but excuses. This also reflects badly on the crowd-funding platform, Kickstarter.
The people behind Terraplanter, now Tavaplanter, have severely undermined people's faith in Kickstarter.
This is a scam and this same is the…
This is a scam and this same is the Kickstarter. I would recommend you all to avoid it in all circumstances.
I have been waiting nearly a year for the goods with several delays. I have no hope for them to arrive any time soon. Be aware to not only avoid the terraplanter or the currently changed name to tavaplanter.com but also Kickstarter website itself in all costs, it is a scam with big S.
