Misleading information and disappointment
I called TCAP and asked if I could bring a stray kitten not to spay or neuter, but to give vaccines and deworm because I was going to adopt the kitten and keep him inside. Neutering would come later after the kitten adjusted. I was told that I could. I tired to set up an appointment online for vaccines only, the system would not let me. When my kids and I succeeded in trapping the kitten in the morning, we rushed to the Green Oaks location as told on the phone between 9 am and noon. When we showed up at TCAP on Green Oaks we were told that we needed an appointment because the kitten would need to be sedated. I called to set up an appointment, and I was told that vaccines could not be given without neutering! Absolutely NOT what I was told on the phone by the employee. Nowhere on the TCAP site does it say that neutering has to be done before vaccines if a person is planning to adopt the kitten. Very disappointed. The information provided is misleading. Will avoid TCAP and will recommend against using the services.
