We started online in 2002, but we have been in the book business for over 19 years (WOW!). It all started at The Ohio State University in 1994 with retail “brick and mortar” stores. But let’s back up for a minute. We were TextbooksRus.com for a while, but now we are TextbookRush. The name change hasn’t changed who we are. We sell books at seriously low prices, as well as textbook rentals for those one-and-done classes. Have books to sell? We’ve got you covered there too. We buy over one million different titles back from students and other sources for cash or store credit. And that’s not all we’ve got. When it’s time for a study break you can check us out for great movies and video games.
When all is said and done, our focus is on growing with you – our customers, suppliers, affiliates, and partners. We strive to build strong and mutually beneficial relationships with people across the world and to provide you with services that are designed especially for you to make you feel at home.

Glad to See TextbookRush Buying Again
I have been selling textbooks to TextbookRush for years and have always had a positive experience with them\. They are a reliable company and have been good to work with all around\.
They seemed to step away from buying books for several months, possibly while restructuring and refocusing their business\. They have recently started buying again, and their prices are competitive\. The only negative is that their website can be slow and sometimes has trouble loading, which I hope they improve\.
Overall, TextbookRush is a great company, and I am glad to see them back in the textbook\-buying market\.

Loved that I got my check so quickly
Loved that I got my check so quickly, quicker than expected. But one of my books was dubbed at having the pages falling out and I know for a fact it wasn’t because I checked my books before sending. If a page came out, it was my own loose leaf paper I used as a bookmark. So I wasn’t paid for the book and the book was never returned.

website not working properly
the website was slow and not responsive at times. i chose paypal as my buyback payment but it wouldn’t load so i had to choose check. i probably won’t be using this vendor again.

Highly recommend. Fantastic experience! There are many websites out there that will buy back your textbooks. They offered me by far the most for my books. The process was super easy. I printed my prepaid FedEx label, sent off my books, and I was paid by PayPal all within one week!
