I made an order for a custom made £190 dress 2 months ago. The shipping policy on the website says approx 19 days for creating the dress and 10 days for international shipping. After more than that I had not yet received any shipping info. I then sent an email to enquire about the status of my order. 10 days later I hadn’t gotten any response so I sent another email. That was more than one week ago, still no response. I have also reached out through their Instagram account, no response there either. I have no clue as to if anything is going on with my order or not. I expected more when paying £190 (+ shipping + the probably vast import tax I’ll be paying if the dress ever arrives) and I’m starting to feel worried about how I should ever be able to get a refund if this doesn’t work out, since communicating appears impossible. I do hope we can get in touch because the dresses are truly beautiful and I would really like to have the one that I ordered.

Dishonest and terrible customer service.
I ordered a top from her via asos marketplace, this was a ready made piece and I ordered two weeks in advance of when I needed it.

A week had passed and I had not received any notification of dispatch, so I sent a message asking for an update. This was ignored and I then requested a refund.
She then refused my refund and said that she had posted it that day to arrive on time.

Up until the day before, where she refunded me and claimed that her car had broken down. This seems to be an excuse she used frequently based on other reviews and if she had been honest about her ability to fulfil her order I would have been able purchase another top.

Emailed to check if I could receive the tulle jacket by a certain date if I ordered that same day as it was for a special event. Was told that would be fine. Jacket didn’t arrive in time, and I had to chase for an update. Maisie apologised that I hadn’t received my jacket in time and told me it would be with me soon. Weeks passed and there was no sign of it, and I had to email repeatedly to request an update. I eventually requested a refund as no sign of my jacket 2 months after I ordered. Took a further 3 weeks to get a refund.

Would have liked to have given 2.5 stars. I was really excited to order a dress for my hen from here, I was waiting for the perfect reason. At the start Maisie was super responsive and helpful and told me I had plenty of time with my order, helped me with colour and sizing etc. After 6 weeks passed I chased up, was told it was coming the week after (it didn’t) so I chased again, was told it’s coming the week after (it didn’t). In the end I had to chase and chase to get the dress to me before I left the country when I wasn’t returning until my hen and started to get very anxious - which I mentioned in my messages. It literally arrived at the final second it could possibly arrive 2 MONTHS after I ordered it and she stopped responding to me entirely before that. The dress is really lovely and exactly what I wanted but the communication and speed was pretty terrible. Especially when I see a review below saying theirs was made and shipped a few days from ordering all while I was chasing on mine and stressing out. My dress was under £100 so think maybe more expensive orders are prioritised or if you have a larger insta following as I know people with large followings who got their orders at the speed of light

Ordered a dress for my 21st birthday and felt like the main character all night !! The dress exceeded all expectations and Maisie was sooo helpful when it came to measuring myself. Amazing customer service & came so fast :) received so many compliments all night, thank you so much Maisie ! Xx

Ordered a custom dress last minute for my daughters 7th birthday, Maisie was so friendly and polite and very responsive in messages. I showed Maisie a few pictures for inspiration and she sent me over a few designs! After a few tweaks we eventually decided on the final design, Maisie had this sent out to me within days, the dress was absolutely stunning on everything we wanted and more and have had nothing but compliments on it since. I sent my daughters sizing over and everything fitted her like a glove. Quality of the dress is amazing. I will definitely be placing another order in the future!

I ordered ‘the dress’ for my birthday and it was absolutely incredible !! The quality was insane and it fit perfectly, and Maisie is happy to answer any questions you have along the way via email, I’ll definitely be ordering again💖💖💖

So I bought my birthday dress from that’s see Maisie and it was just amazing! First I messaged Maisie on Instagram because I wanted some strap detailing on my shoulders and she just got what I meant, then I ordered it on the website and came in time for my birthday. The price was just amazing because you can tell it’s handmade and how much effort has gone into it. On the night of my birthday I had so many complaints how nice it was. I will definitely be purchasing again 😍

I ordered a jacket for pride weekend and was super excited for it. I emailed in advance to check it would arrive in time and I was assured it would. The day before I was leaving I emailed again to check as it hadn’t arrived. She said she’d been delayed but it was finished and could post it then on a next day delivery. I was really understanding and said it was okay. When it didn’t arrive the next day I asked her again and she said her car had broken down so should couldn’t take it to the post office. I said that was fine. I then waited for it to arrive after the event I planned to wear it for and despite being told it was ready and packaged up - there was no sign of it. I emailed again (also really polite because I respect it’s a small business) and I was told it would be despatched in the next few days. A month went by with no communication and I had to raise a PayPal dispute. When I did this she contacted me to say she would dispatch the next day- again I was really understanding. Then the next week I had no dispatch confirmation so I escalated my PayPal dispute and messaged her on IG for a refund. Just be really careful when ordering the communication is poor and if you don’t receive anything at all it’s so difficult to get hold of them for a refund. There’s definitely more reliable makers and sellers who do similar pieces

Recently bought a set from That’s Sew Maisie and wow, where do I begin?! Firstly, I needed the set 4 weeks from ordering for a festival. I sent Maisie an email and she put me on her list of special delivery orders. The outfit came in perfect time and was stunning! I felt so confident and beautiful in the set - I received so many compliments! So much time, effort and thought goes into each of Maisie’s designs and it shows 🥰 I can’t wait to order something else from the website. If you’re thinking about buying, do it! very slow/bad customer service, best way to contact her is through instagram even then she takes a while to reply. brought a dress 3 months ago and it has still not yet arrived even though I let her know it was needed for a specific date. will try to get a refund if it does not arrive on time but even that looks like it will be a struggle to organise. very disappointed

It claims garments will be sent via Royal Mail next day delivery after made. FALSE!

My garment took a month to be made which I can understand if it’s hand made. However I’ve been waiting almost a month for it to arrive after shipping confirmation was sent. The tracking info that is sent has no actual tracking details. Communication between the seller and customer is shocking.

I wouldn’t recommend purchasing from this outlet. Especially if the garment is needed for a special occasion as who knows when it will actually arrive.
