After travelling over 80 miles to view a bike, I'm more than disgusted in the way that man Krusty, Kevin, or whatever he is called, spoke to my partner today. He's rude, full of his own self importance, and actually said to my partner I don't like you, and that towards a customer that was going to spend a lot of money on a second hand bike! We went further up the road to the two other bike shops and were told exactly the same! During last week, they had more than one person stating the same, and had been spoken to in an inappropriate way by Krusty! We can take criticism but when it's hurled as abuse at potential customers, it's just not acceptable!

Bike Barn carried out a service and repairs on my 17yr old Giant Team XTC mtb. Scott was very resourceful in sourcing quality parts to repair obsolete components so keeping costs reasonable. Bike now runs as well as it ever has. Well definitely come back. Thanks.

I bought a standard size bikebarn from this company over 16 years ago. Yes 16!. I can't be sure as it's so long ago but my wife was pregnant with our oldest child is all I know. Anyhow, it seems more expensive now than some copycats you'll find on mandp and elsewhere but in my opinion, it's well worth it. Here's why. My one is used every day and has been home to all my bikes over the years. They include a Suzuki bandit 400, a 1200, a BMW f650cs, a BMW R1150rt and a Ducati Multistrada. So it's size is versatile enough for most bikes. I kind of expected about 5 years use out of it. Finally after 16+ years the stitching in the canvas gave out in places and if I wasn't lazy, it was repairable. The frame has no rust and is still in good shape. But I am lazy, so I took a look to see if they were still trading and happily, they are. To add to my pleasure they sell replacement covers. I bought one without hesitation and it arrived in 4 days, the website is basic but very easy to use as a result. I received update mails giving me tracking info. I didn't interact directly this time but I recall that on my original order I did and got fast informative replies which helped guide me to the right version to buy. I'm now looking forward to another 16 years plus. A friend bought one of the copycats for about £100 less than one of these but only 2 years later, the frame is rusting and the canvas has perished and has torn, no spares available for that one. So, if you like the product, buy this one, it's well worth the extra money.
